First I have to say Dr. Olsen was great. If I could have him without his office staff, I would! The office staff were all of Caucasian descent and made me feel like a second class citizen. After this particular day I’ve heard others say the same. My son had an appointment and was excited to see the dentist. The billing lady called me up and stated I owed a particular dollar amount and could not see the dentist until it was paid. My bill had nothing to do with my sons, as we had different insurances. I stated I’d take care of his today and mine on my next visit. She began raising her voice at me and really attempting to embarrass me. I sat down to wait on my son to be called. A Caucasian lady went up and I heard billing state she owed a dollar amount larger than mine. The lady informed her she would take care of it when she could but not today. The billing said that’s fine and called her back for her appointment. My son and I sat and waited, the office was closing and no one had called us back. We left. I tried to leave reviews on their website, and so have others and another review site and they continue to delete them. They’re ratings look high but if they were not to erase the negative I’m sure they’ll be in the lower end.

I have been going to this dental office for about two years, and the entire staff is great. Dr. Olsen always makes me feel comfortable; he is always nice and genuine. I have had regular cleanings, wisdom teeth removal, and Invisalign at this office, and I have no complaints. The wait time is short, everyone is nice, and they serve cookies as a post-appointment treat!

I give two stars because honestly the doctors here are great; however, their office staff, particularly the billing department, are terrible. We were given a price on a procedure, given an idea of what the insurance would pay(which we didn’t expect to be 100% accurate, it never is). We paid some money the day of the procedure and additional money over the course of the next few months, all without any statements being sent. After paying about 75% of the bill we received a statement showing the balance to be over $ 500 more than we expected, but it showed the insurance did not pay for a few items. In contacting the insurance company we found the billing dept had failed to bill for several associated procedures. We contacted them and were promised it would be handled, and to pay via our bank bill pay once we got our next statement. We waited 3 months without a statement. We went in for a follow up visit, only to be called back to the manager’s office and be forced to pay the balance, via a debit/credit card or check — no option to use the bank bill pay as they said«we don’t do that.» Long story short after paying they wanted to schedule another appointment, even though we had taken off of work to make it to that followup appointment. So they made us take off of work to make us feel like a dead beat who doesn’t pay their bills, and then refused to allow us to see the dentist that day. Not to mention they are out of network on all major insurance plans due to their much higher than customary fees. Even a cleaning that is usually covered 100% with insurance cost money out of pocket due to their high fees. STAYAWAY
