Best Moving Company Ever!!! I have moved a number of times and have never had a positive experience until my move this weekend. Prodigy came and gave me a not to exceed estimate two weeks before my move. The estimator showed up when he said he would and was very polite. He confirmed the move with be by email and by phone. Two days before the move, Prodigy again confirmed with me. They told me they would be at my home at 8 am. Guess what, they were actually there at 8 am. The crew of five men were polite, helpful and clean. My move went off without a hitch and I was charged for less than the estimate I was given as the crew worked very quickly and it took less time than the estimator projected. The crew didn’t complain when I asked them to rearrange furniture. While I hope to never move again, I would use Prodigy in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that has to move.

They moved my 3 bdrm 2 bath home, including things in the backyard and garage in 8 hours. We had more things than we thought! They did everything quickly and efficiently, including taking apart and putting furniture back together. We had a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them.

What a great team to move all our stuff! Packing all your belongings and moving is one of the most overwhelming tasks that one can endure. This team, lead by Carlos, was calm that was not intimidated by the quantity of stuff or the loose pieces I just didn’t have time to pack. Everything arrived safely at the new place and nothing broken or damaged. They even fixed a leg on the dining room table that was loose from long ago. Shelly was super easy to work with and get the move scheduled. I can’t say enough about this moving company — best and most affordable we’ve ever used!

This was my first time using movers and Prodigy came through for us with a stellar team who were on time and efficient. Carlos 2, Osbin, Hugo and Fernando were very respectful of the walls when moving large furniture. They also took extra special care of the tv’s, which I greatly appreciated. I would use this company again and will be requesting the same team in 2yrs!

This company was great. They were on time, their prices were fair and their guys were intelligent and friendly, quick and careful. I worked with Abby at the office and Hector and his crew on the day. Everyone I dealt with was a total professional. Prodigy was recommended to me, I will recommend them to friends and I’ll use them again. I can’t give them higher praise than that.

What an amazing moving company! We have always moved ourselves before with the help of some family and friends and after our last move 9 years ago we promised them we would get movers next time! We had already booked a different company, but we were told about this company about 2 weeks before our move and that they were the best so we decided to call and see if they could help us in such short notice and what the cost would be. They actually setup an appointment for someone to come out and look at our place and all we had to move so they had an idea of what they were going to be moving and what was the best pricing option for us. No other moving company we had spoke to did this, right then we knew they must really be good at what they do!
Of course we cancelled our other company and booked Prodigy! They showed up on moving day promptly at 9am. We were a little concerned ahead of time that paying hourly they might be real slow trying to milk the clock and boy were we wrong, these guys work so fast! We were tired watching them! Not only were they fast but very efficient and took great care of our things, they packed that truck so perfectly! I joked that they must be real good at playing tetris!
This move we made was temporary and we plan to move again in the next year and will ABSOLUTELY be hiring Prodigy again! They helped make the stress of moving as easy as they could. What can I say, another amazing experience with this company! After my last move of nearly 4000 ft.², two days, two trucks, eight guys, and 10 hour days I thought for sure they would tell me they were busy. Nope! They were happy to do it again. I was lucky enough to get Martin as my lead guy again.
In all of my 13 moves in Los Angeles I’ve never experienced such professionalism. He puts this company head and shoulders above all the rest. My team was more than helpful, they went above and beyond what any other movers do.
To say they move mountains is not an understatement they’ll take down walls! Literately! If it means getting your furniture in and making you happy.
I simply cannot boast enough about this company and my team. After having so many bad experiences with movers, I can rest assure anytime I want to move I’m in great hands. That’s an amazing feeling to have

Found prodigy on Unilocal,They were very friendly and accommodating right from the first call. they showed up exactly on time and went the extra mile helping us complete our move in 5 hours. Herb, Fili, & Osbin worked their butts off and never once complained at the large quantities of boxes we had. they even helped us with all the little stuff that I didn’t expect. Great job guys, You really care about the customer’s needs even though it meant a tougher job!

So it was my first time hiring a moving company. I searched and called multiple moving companies in my area, and pretty much went with Prodigy because of their affordability. So naturally the phrase, «you get what you pay for» comes to mind.
Moving day comes and I am hoping for the best and ready for the worst… and was so happy that I got the best! Herb, Ricardo, and Onaez were great, professional, friendly and fast! These guys know what they are doing to say the least and has made me a customer for life.

I have moved several times in my life and working with Prodigy Moving in Chatsworth was the most efficient, cost-​effective, and easiest experience I’ve ever had. From the time I first called and spoke with Abbey, the office Manager, I was impressed. She put my mind at ease and was so kind. Moves can be stressful and she made sure that I was taken great care of. Benjamin and crew showed up on moving day, and swiftly helped me with finishing the packing process. I would without a doubt recommend Progidy Moving. The entire experience was first rate — from obtaining the quote to the move to the professional and pleasant attitude of the crew. I will never use any other moving company. They were fast, efficient and thorough. They carefully handled all of my belongings and made sure that my furniture, boxes and other items were all handled with the utmost care. Great moving company! Great service!

Great service, quick and effective! The team showed up, was easy to work with, and did all of the work fast. Even when thrown a curveball (some furniture needed to be lowered through a balcony due to size), they showed up prepared and ready to go.

We had a large house to move. I felt bad because the truck didn’t fit in the driveway at both location so there was a ton of walking for the entire crew. This is the 2^nd time using Prodigy and even better experience. They came in under the quote and did with with an amazing attitude. Iliya was so helpful in giving us the quote and Ivan with his crew Rafa, Pancho & Juan O. were Rock Stars! Don’t know what I would have done without them. There was a ton of stuff to move & assemble. Definitely recommend them for anyone who need movers.

This was our first time using Prodigy Moving and Storage and they were great! I have moved several times in the last 10 years and haven’t had the best experiences. Abby and Emily were so helpful when we booked the move and answered any questions we had.
Our move team was Carlos 2, Roberto, Mauri 3 and Osbin. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of movers. They took such great care of our items, gave good recommendations furniture placement and were very organized and quick. They saved us from unnecessary work and were so helpful.
Hands down the best move experience I have had. The cost was reasonable. No one likes to move but Prodigy made it much easier! I cannot rave enough and will recommend the company to anyone who needs to move. There is no need to look further!

Oh man. Moving is usually such a tough, painful experience, but with Prodigy Movers and their great team, led by Benjamin, everything went so smoothly.
Benjamin and his team of movers showed up on time and ready to go, and even though it was raining the day of our move, they were always positive and upbeat. Everyone moved quickly and efficiently, and before I knew it, I was all moved out of my old place and into my new home.

I got a recommendation for this company by my former boss. I moved about a year ago and am only now getting around to writing a review, but I feel like ultimately, they are owed a good review, even if it’s late.
Not only were they FAST, they were efficient and polite. My moving took only about 2 and ½ hours (not counting driving time) I think. It was painless and easy, even while on the weekend and just before some bad weather. I loved how they took care of my antique furniture and other items — they moved my things with care and speed. Movers did end up breaking the glass of an antique grandfather clock. They immediately removed the panel and sent in a guy with a new glass that same week. I was touched by their professionalism in handling the damage. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We have used Prodigy Moving three times in the last 2 years. I have spoken with Abby or Ben on the phones and their customer service skills are excellent. They are extremely friendly, informative and helpful.
Each time we used Prodigy, we had a different team and everyone was great each time. Our last and hopefully final move for a while was with Jesus Meza, Onael, and Lopez. This team was incredibly fast and efficient. They moved a three bedroom house in 5 hours with drive time plus they waited for us multiple times so otherwise they probably would have been done in 4 hours.
The team was extremely organized and careful with our stuff. We have a range of stuff from things that are pretty high end to things that are rather cheap and would break easily. These guys didn’t damage a single thing. They carried every piece in and out of two places and managed to not even ding a wall in the process. Amazing.
I think this company is hands down terrific. I used them for all my moves since I lived in California and hopefully I won’t have to move again but whenever I do, I will definitely use this company because their service is outstanding!

This review is a little overdue… moving is stressful and one would forget to write reviews because of it.
I hired Prodigy to help me move from Calabasas to TO early Feb. I spoke with Abby who was very professional and emailed me right away with the a transparent quote — no hidden costs.
I decided to work with a team of 4 guys. Pay extra for a bigger team but get the job done in less time. I received a call to confirm the time and day of the move, which feels good as a customer. These guys were awesome — They secured all my furniture, dis-​assembled and reassembled and took all my furniture up 2 stories. All with great care.
I will hire you guys in a heartbeat for my next move and recommend them to anyone confidently. Thanks also to Abby for planning and quoting the cost of the move correctly without any hidden costs or last minute unpleasant surprises.

Moving is stressful. Murphys Law seems to always rear it’s ugly head. The best part of moving is using Prodigy — they were amazing!
Not only are their prices reasonable, they were very accommodating when I had an unforseen delay on moving day.
The movers arrived, were professional, fast, and took great care in loading and unloading my items.

I had been searching movers and storage options for about six weeks now… it has been making me CRAZY because of the different set-up’s for each. I had kind of a unique sitaution because I was laid off my job here in West LA and decided to forego the monthly pain of coming up with a $ 1700 monthly rent for my one bedroom digs and wait it out for my next job offer — which may be anywhere from Seattle to Texas (and anywhere in between!). So I purged as much as I could (Marie Kondo’s book in hand) and after studying and reserving and cancelling different movers and storage companies over the course of three painful weeks — I found Prodigy Moving & Storage. Simply put: They are AMAZING.
From my first phone inquiry to confirming the reservation, they were a breath of fresh air. I spoke with a super polite and professional gentleman he then passed me to Veronica who was very sweet, thorough and detailed. I received my email confirmations promptly with all the details.
On moving day, I met David L; Carlos 2 and Polo — all polite, personable, professional and ON TIME! They were QUICK and EFFICIENT — I’ve had many cross country moves and this was the best I’ve ever had. These guys quickly went to work immediately upon arriving and Carlos2 was a great leader. He even moved the truck closer when a neighbor moved his truck so the guys could get in/​out easier (and quicker). All in all, they loaded, wrapped, blanketed all my precious belongings in less than 3 hours and always with a polite, professional calm. They were neat — clean — and respectable — even went around an picked up after themselves which I haven’t seen in the past with all my moves. These guys were genuinely sweet and kind and of course, I took care of them — including food and gratuity. Richly deserved and richly rewarded is my motto!
No surpirses when the bill came either — Carlos 2 was sweet, professional and very nice. I used the Unilocal coupon and he just used the code from my cell phone so it was super easy!
I would HIGHLY recommend Prodigy Moving and Storage. They are storing my belongings at their facility until I find the job of my dreams!

We chose two highly rated local moving companies to provide bids. After leaving the particulars of our move from a staffer, Iliya from Prodigy contacted me right away and came out to look at our property and provide a bid, which he did before he left.

He also was very patient in answering all of my questions — and there were many!
We divided our move into three separate moves:
1) Two rooms of furniture and numerous boxes of belongings to go into storage at their facility
2) The remainder of our furniture and belongings moved from Thousand Oaks to our San Diego apartment.
3) Storage items to be moved to our home in San Diego (when we buy it)
We chose Prodigy over the other company for the following reasons:
1) Prompt service. The other company rescheduled the estimate several times before coming over.
2) It took several days to get the estimate from the other company, and it wasn’t done in the separate steps above as I requested.
3) The price was over 2X what Prodigy was charging.
So far, Prodigy has done moves 1 and 2. Move 3 will happen when we buy a house in San Diego County.
Iliya offered money –saving tips
1) Use a local mover for the move from the San Diego apartment to the new home we are going to purchase instead of using them, as it would be more expensive.
2) Some boxes and packing materials were included at no extra charge, but Iliya suggested that we go elsewhere to buy extras, as it would cost less if we did. (We ended up going to U-​Haul.)
The move from our house to storage went quickly and painlessly!
As for the move to San Diego, we clearly weren’t ready. Although we had planned to pack most everything ourselves, we underestimated how much stuff we had! We decided to leave the washer, dryer and refrigerator that we originally planned to put in storage, but we still had so much more to pack.
Our crew — Ezequiel, Lalo, Lalo Jr. and David — went to work and really hustled! Wrapping dishes and glassware, wrapping items sturdily, putting boxes together at lightning speed — they had the rest of our 2400+ square foot home’s contents packed and on the truck in less than three hours!
By the time I arrived at our new apartment for the walk-​through, the movers were already there and waiting! All I had to do was tell them which furniture went into which room, and they laid out the furniture in the best possible places, as by this point I was way too tired to make those decisions! :-)
In the meantime, they moved their truck several times for neighbors to get through, and were pleasant and accommodating to everyone.
And the best part? They didn’t break anything. They didn’t track anything onto the carpets. It all went as smoothly as it could, even though we weren’t ready, thanks to these four guys!!!

I contacted Prodigy Moving cause I had heard awesome things from friends of mine, and they did not disappoint. Due to an unforeseen issue I couldn’t pack anything. Throughout my entire ordeal, Jesus the Foreman was super cooperative and completely professional. I’m grateful they were around because they really helped me out during a crazy situation.
They arrived on time, prepared, and had plenty of room for all of my furniture and boxes. The move was organized and fast, and their rates were fantastic. Moving is stressful, but these guys make the whole process painless and easy.
