Jet Skis Ahoy

These guys were very accommodating to our large group. We rented a pontoon boat and 2 jet skis on 05/​14/​2016 and they helped us as quickly as they could so we could get out on the water. We had an incident where one of the jet skis flipped over and it didn’t start after that, so one of the guys came out to help us and was able to switch it for another jet ski for no additional charge and no penalty on our 4 hour reservation time. They didn’t charge for a security deposit, they just took our card and with no damages after rental, shredded our card information. If we come back to Lake chelan, we’re definitely using them again. Not sure what the previous bad reviews are all about, we had a great experience with them this past weekend!!!
My husband and I were in town last Thursday inquiring about renting a pontoon boat for a few hours on Saturday when our kids were driving out to join us in Chelan. We were very happy to see these guys open before Memorial Day, and the guy at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Their rates were reasonable and he let us reserve a boat without even requiring a deposit in advance.
Even though the weather was iffy (cloudy) on Saturday we decided to go out for a few hours anyway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our boating experience. I wish it had been sunny so we could have made use of the tubes/​other toys that they offered us.
They provide life jackets and ice chests and have ice available too. The girls in the office and the «dock boys» were all very friendly. They showed us how to use everything, and quickly got us docked and the gas topped off when we returned. Everything went smoothly, no waiting around, would definitely rent from them again.

First year was great, second year was a bust but Jet Skis Ahoy redeemed itself this last September. I’m glad it worked out – my group will be back again next year!

First time we went here was August of last year, my group was looking to rent 3 jet-​skis. The staff was unpleasant to work with when we stopped in to inquire about pricing. So we decided to left and looked for other places.
I don’t know how good is their jet-​ski and boat for rent are, but I definitely won’t be coming back here since there are plenty of other boat/​jets-​ki rental services in the area with much better price & customer service!

Easy to work with, straightforward, and affordable (under $ 100 total to rent two jet skis for an hour). Great service. Would rent with them again.

The boats are good, but customer service is really poor. There is lack of coordination between the front desk and the guys handling the boat. They had no record of my booking and when i pointed out their error they did their best to argue that it was on me to confirm and that they were doing a favor by honoring my reservation (!). Seemed to be a case of inflated egos at the front desk. Worse was the price of gas where there is complete lack of transparency. It seems to vary and if you were to ask for details — Good luck!

Rented jet skis and had a great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable people, plenty of life jackets, equipment in good repair.
Came back again to take out the kayaks for a few hours. We will be back!

Rented a boat yesterday and Jet ski today. Great staff… friendly, professional, patient and fun. Good quality equipment and staff who make sure you are a happy customer. The water on Lake Chelan is amazingly clear. This company can make your stay here memorable. They have it all!!! with really friendly, qualified staff. Good value. your rental time doesn’t start until you leave the dock. Not one staff lacking in friendliness and professionalism. Give them a raise, boss!

Awesome service and very friendly staff. The entire process was quick and straight forward, just a couple forms to initial and sign. I rented a boat and jet ski for a group of guys. Originally paid for 8 hours, but one guy got sick so we ended up coming back after three hours. They were very accommodating and were able to charge me for half day instead. The boat we rented (boat 7) ran smoothly and was clean. The jet ski was plenty quick and provided lots of fun. Definitely will rent from again.

Awesome place to rent jetskis and boats! We had a lot of fun toeing the tube and wakeboarding. The rates are a steal, and the employees take extra care to make sure you are comfortable with the vehicles before you take them out! 6 stars if I could! Thanks guys!

Rented a boat and 2 jetskis for 4 hours. It was perfect for our group of 12 friends. All I can say is that it was a blast and well worth every penny spent. Jet Skis Ahoy is a must if you’re looking to rent watercrafts in the lake chelan area.

My family and I took one of the pontoon boats to Stehekin for the day and had a blast! The boat was roomy and my in laws loved having the space to move about. The ride was beautiful and we even saw mountain sheep! The town of Stehekin was fun we took the bus up valley and the stopped at the waterfall and the bakery which was enjoyable as well. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

My wife and I have bed. There a couple times. It has ALWAYS been a great experience. We have rented both boats and jet skis. Both were awesome. They do get busy but if you let them know you have been there before and know what you are doing they get you out on the lake a bit quicker. We went to one other place before and it was not good at all so the next year we rented here and it was awesome. We will never go anywhere else and hear they have parasailing now so we will give that a go I think.

Anyways basically we had fun and rented three jet skis for 8 hours. After about 2.5 hours we had gotten one of our jet skis taken Away by the Jeremy guy with sunglasses too big for his head. Actually he tried to take away all three jet skis for something that wasn’t out fault and supposedly we got the cops called on us that never showed up. After a few negotiations we managed to get 1 jet ski back so we negotiated some more and Jeremy fake called his cool looking 80’s retro boss and gave us back only 2 jet skis. So we lost a jet ski just cause. Although the somewhat bad experience with «goggles» there was one guy that stood out, jayden if I recall correctly. He was just super chill and laid back like a «yeah dude totally» personality… Shout out to that guy and give him a raise.

One of the worst places ever. I would think hundred times before giving any business to them again. Here is how it unfolded in my case. I called them 3 days for reservation for 5 jet skis (We were a big group hence wanted to be sure). We were told to be there 30 mins before our reservation so we gave ourselves enough buffer and reached there 45 minutes before reservation. We were told to wait an additional hour as it was ‘busy’. We all patiently waited and then we were told there were only 2 jet skis available and others will come in some time.
I then questioned the rationale of reservation and they had a generic answer saying they cannot predict how crowded it will get. Okay so i wait a bit more and then i noticed people arriving after my group started going on. I then realized they had no coordination. It was free for anyone. Heck i could have just walked up to their dock and taken one and they would not have noticed.
I then got into an argument with the management and the guy at the dock said this is how things were so if i dont like it i can leave.
To all the people making a trip to Chelan my advise is dont bother with Jet Skis Ahoy… there are other options and you are better off dealing with more professional people then the sore losers at jet skis.
I wish there was –1 start option. I would have gone for that.

BIG mistake! NEVER rent jetskis or boats from these people. They require a $ 500 deposit and don’t give it back. We went jet skiing over the weekend at Lake Chelan and when we got back to return them they came up with all this bogus damage and would not give our money back. They called the cops on us and even the cops are are connected to these people and threaten you. We plan on suing their business. don’t go here. they will rob you of your $ 500, it isn’t worth it!!! dont go!!!

TERRIBLE customer service!
I probably should have turned around and starting running in the other direction when I saw a couple people on a jet ski completly flip over before they had even left the dock. But no, I pursued on… BIG MISTAKE!
We rented a jet ski, some kayaks and a paddle board. The gals in the office were friendly but disorganized. The guys on the dock (including the owner) were VERY inattentive, unhelpful and RUDE. I had never ridden a jet ski before; a fact that I mentioned SEVERAL times. The attendant on the dock provided very little instruction and was primarily focused on getting me to sign the damage assessment agreement (much like renting a car). I asked to see the previous damage assessment page from the user that had gone before us. He told me that he had no idea where that paper was and that it was probably «in a pile somewhere.» I was particularly concerned about the damage assessment because I had overheard a couple next to us who were disputing a $ 300+ fine for damage (supposed damage that I could not even identify on the jet ski they used).
I continued telling him that I’d like a little more direction and that I was unfamiliar with jet skis (although very excited to give it a go!). He dismissed my concerns and hurried me onto the water craft.
The jet ski itself was fine, but I found myself nervous and feeling unprepared for handing the jet ski. When we returned to the doc I had to scream to the attendant to have him come over to help. Which by the way, he didn’t help me onto the dock. Instead I fell onto the dock, leaving my knees heavily bruised. The attendant saw me fall and took no action.
Highly disappointing.

My husband and I went to Lake Chelan this past weekend. The jet ski was reserved on Thursday and we went on Saturday. We had a morning reservation and it wasn’t busy. They even charged us less than quoted!
They were very friendly and accommodating. They went over the rules and how to use the jet ski. They have small ziplock bags if needed for cellphone or wallet.
Would definitely recommend and use again.

My parents and I were visiting Lake Chelan for the weekend and wanted to partake in some water activities. My dad and I opted for the jet skis, which were awesome! There was quite a bit of paper work to fill out, but that’s understandable. The girl at the front desk was super nice and helped make the process quick and painless.
After my dad and I had the time of our lives on the jet skis, my mom wanted more than anything to go paddle-​boarding. We both went together and the staff was nice enough to show us how to get on the board and provide us with tips on how not to fall off.
The next morning, we simply couldn’t stay away, so my mom and I rented kayaks for an hour. They were very reasonably priced and we had a great Sunday morning kayaking along the lake.
Will definitely be back for more on the water activities next time I’m in Chelan thanks to Jet Skis Ahoy!

Worst experience ever. They will harass you in broad daylight. Their shoddy staff will take forever to issue jet skis and then they will charge you extra for the time they burned on your booking. They will quarrel and take every penny out of you. They will take deposits of 500 $ as security and then wont return them until asked.
If you wanna spoil your trip, please rent from them
