Always a fun place to stop when in Chelmsford. Kids and I love all the miniatures and picking up new dice. You can never have too many dice. Is it an addiction?! Maybe!!! Good selection of D&D books and maps along with much Warhammer stuff. Even have some cool old school models to pick up and put together

Perfect if you live in the area and are into Warhammer. Great selection of other miniature/​board games as well as Golden Retriever stuffie.

This is a cool little gaming store. Small, but who cares, right? What I liked is that this store has an emphasis on table-​top miniatures (excellent stock of Warmachine figures), which is rare these days. It’s not just another Magic™-mill.

First came here about ten years ago when I started collecting board games; this was the only place around that had a copy of a game I had played years before (Games Workshop’s Talisman), and it was definitely worth the hike then.
I went back recently, and they still have a minis focus, selling terrain and paints as well, with a decent puzzle section and a number of car model kits as well.
There were a number of nice classic/​world board game sets (ex. chess, go, mahjong), some RPGs (mostly 4^th Ed D&D, d20, and older White Wolf), a rack of graphic novels, and some Magic cards as well.
Unfortunately, the (hobby) board game selection, which I came back here for, was VERY sparse this time around; though this is a decent-​sized store with plenty of shelves around the store, surprisingly few games were actually on them (I actually thought the store might have been going out of business, as there was so much empty shelf-​space).
I can’t say it was worth the trip for me, and the lack of updates on the website is concerning (the last Magic tips are from 2007, mid-​2011 is the most recent newsletter, etc.,), but if you’re looking for a local gaming store with friendly staff, this is a good find; if you’re specifically into model-​building or miniature gaming, this may be your go-​to store.

Neat little store here. A lot of board games and puzzles to choose from and, of course, role playing equipment galore.
The owner knows his stuff too. A brief exchange on dice included him rattling off some statistics that set Nerd alarms in a 3 square mile radius.
