The Barber Pole

I love it! Went by myself the first time to see how it was. Ended up loving it so much I brought my son the next time I went. Nancy and her staff are awesome, and the shop is kid friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Straight razor on the neck, aftershave, polite staff. Joyce was great. Fraction of the price of sportclips.

Love this Barber Shop. Joyce, Kathy and Lee are the ones I request and always very happy with my and my kids haircuts. Very clean, free coffe and they have an awesome train table to keep the little ones happy. Been going for years

My father and I have been going to The Barber Pole for about ten years now. I’ve been in every barber’s chair in that shop, and I have no real preference, but I would probably say that Dolly, Nancy, and Joyce have provided the best cuts in regards to what I was looking for. I remember when Jack was still the owner, and I commend Nancy for upholding the shop to the same great standards.
They always do a straight razor neck shave and neck massage, and it’s cheaper than any of those commercialized Supercuts/​Sport Clips/​Great Clips places, so I’m happy to go out of my way to come to them. They’ve even done an eyebrow trim without me saying anything.
If you build a rapport with one particular barber, make sure you schedule an appointment, because they’re not always there every day. They really truly will take the time to «fix» a detail that you don’t necessarily like before you get up out of the chair, so I’m going to assume the less-​than-​stellar reviews are from people that are afraid to be honest with their barber.

Went to The Barber Pole today (10÷3÷15), reviews on Unilocal rated The Barber Pole very positively. The reviews suggest making an appointment, I was a walk in so had to wait maybe 20 minutes. I didn’t consider this bad especially with not having an appointment. The stylist was very nice and did a great job with my trim, even had my eyebrows trimmed! This was a first for me, then she shaved the back of my neck with straight edge, very nice touch! Prices are very reasonable, glad I chose The Barber Pole! I will go back for regular hair cuts.

I have been going this Barber shop since March 2007 the service is always great and the facilities are clean. Lee always does a great job when he cuts my hair.

I love this consistent, professional barbershop. I’ve been getting my haircut byJohn for 15 years and I’ve never been unhappy with one. John is not a hair cutter, he is an artist. He always takes his time to do an outstanding job.

I would give it no stars if I could. Paid $ 14 for what was suppose to be a haircut. Attached is a photo of the back of my sons head.

My husband has been going here for about a year now at least 1 – 2 times a month. He loves it. Clean, friendly and kid friendly. They have a train table for the kids. Husband looks great every time!

Consistent professional haircuts. It does get busy so I recommend calling 1^st. They take appointments. Classic old school barber shop.
