This carry-​out Chinese restaurant features all of the most popular dishes along with a few unique ones like the Cantonese style chow mein dishes which feature stir fried meat and vegetables accompanied by pan fried soft chow mein noodles which give you the best of both worlds as some of the noodles go crispy during the pan frying process.
The food at Egg Roll Express is fresh, the meats are high quality (no mystery chicken pieces covered in a heavy greasy batter and cloyingly sweet sauce here), and the portions are generous. The food at more and more Chinese places is similar to what you might find in a food court at the mall. The food at Egg Roll Express reminds me of the food from the Chinese restaurants I grew up loving such as Wong’s Garden in St. Clair Shores. Give this place a try and you will be returning again and again.

I order from this place once a week for lunch. Very consistent and fresh. Lunch menu is only $ 5 and you practically get a dinner portion. I love it.
