Business Owner

Born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, Dr. Jason A. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After graduating the University of Maryland Dental School as a member of Gamma Pi Delta, the Prosthodontic Honors Society, Dr. Cohen completed an Externship and General Practice Residency at the Baltimore Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Since then, Dr. Cohen has been in private practice in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area providing General, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Cohen is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the D.C. Dental Society and the Southern Maryland Dental Society. Dr. Cohen also devotes significant time to continuing education through select clubs including the Dental Science Study Club of Washington and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

This is a wonderful dental practice. Dr. Cohen is excellent and he and his staff do absolutely everything to make you feel comfortable and at ease. The professionalism is apparent from the greeting you get as you walk in the door all the way through the appointment. Most of the staff as been at that practice for years and years dating back to the Drs. Clayman. Winnie is a great Hygienist. Yea for Jason Cohen and co!!!

Cant say enough about Dr. Cohen’s care. His clinical/​diagnostic skills are superb. He suggests the most effective/​least invasive procedure rather than most extensive/​expensive. He appreciates and practices the art of pain-​free dentistry — makes patient comfort a priority.
By way of background, my daughter and I are both afraid of dentists — both having had bad prior treatments. So we’re not the easiest patients! As she puts it: Aren’t we lucky to have found such a great dentist here? Totally agree.

Dr. Cohen and staff are exceptional — professional, friendly and all-​around top notch. I’ve recommended Dr. Cohen to friends and colleagues, and they all were impressed with the quality of service and are now patients of the practice. I was always a «white knuckler» when sitting in a dentist’s chair — now, I find it stress free, even when I’ve had major dental work done. Dr. Cohen has a wonderful way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable with both minor and major procedures. I’ve actually almost fallen asleep while Winnie, his hygienist, was cleaning my teeth! That’s relaxed! My daughter and I both highly recommend this practice — you will be putting yourself in very good and capable hands.

Jason A. Cohen, DDS, has been my dentist for just about 8 years or so and i recommend him without hesitation or equivocation. once you experience this superior dental care, you will unbelievably find yourself looking forward to those recall cards they so efficiently send in such a timely fashion. there may be a better dentist out there, somewhere, but why bother looking when the DC area has dr. cohen and his amazingly qualified and caring staff right here in chevy chase?
whether it’s serious, involved dental care you are seeking or routine checks and cleanings, rest assured, dr cohen and every member of his staff will happily provide that and more. try them, i guarantee you will like them and like me, my husband and many others whom i’ve referred to this practice, will find yourself referring him to your friends and family, too! i can’t think of a better recommendation!

Dr. Cohen is the best. I’ve been a patient of his for years now and feel like it just gets better and better. His hygienist is excellent, the front desk staff are friendly, and the visits border on feeling fun, which I thought I’d never say about a dentist. They genuinely care and I’ve had only great experiences there. I recommend him to everyone who asks.

My husband and I have had many experiences with different dentists through the years who were mediocre to average, at best. We felt that there had to be someone out there that was truly knowledgeable, caring, professional, and who went beyond general maintenance and cleanings. In my continued and ongoing search, I found Dr. Cohen last year and the results have been remarkable. Where previous dentists didn’t want to bother replacing discolored crowns, Dr. Cohen has replaced crowns for my husband and myself with meticulous work.
Dr. Cohn’s office is most professional. His office is clean, neat, and appointments are on time. His staff is friendly, well organized, and experienced. Truly, my search for the perfect dentist ended when I found Dr. Cohen.

Jason is one of the «special» dentists. Totally cares about his patients. He is especially kind and gentle with the older patients. His staff is friendly and also cares about all of their patients. Jason was amazing to my elderly father who has since passed away. He would send him personalized get well cards and made him feel special. This is a great practice!
