Bank of America

Good location on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago. Went there after hours so I cannot comment on the customer service experience. All I can say is that they did have two ATMs. That is all I needed. Got some cash and away we went.

Between bank tellers that alternate between being offended I’m asking them to process my deposit — something an ATM can do, thus defeating their existence and taking their job security into question — and being high-​pressure sales people for credit cards I don’t want and didn’t inquire about, plus a broken revolving door that still isn’t fixed after months of being a foot stubbing liability, I can safely call this the worst Bank of America branch in Chicago.
Outside of cable companies, I’ve never seen an organization that punishes their customers as badly as B of A.

Best banking experience. All my questions and more were answered. I felt they genuinely cared about my needs and took the time to explain and made sure I understood all that was being done. This is an exemplary branch!

This is my FAVORITE Bank of America location! Heck, this is my favorite BANK location in general!
You see… I have this bad habit of… shall we say, having my debit card stolen by evil ATMs and forgetful restaurants. (I know, I need to be better about not leaving it everywhere!) So I’ve gotten not one, but TWO temporary cards from this branch while waiting on a new one. This branch also helped me open a credit account!
AWESOME service! Everyone is not only professional, but super nice, friendly, and helpful! They don’t judge me for having my debit card stolen by evil ATMs and forgetful restaurants =) They just nicely cancel my old card, order a new one in the mail for me, and give me a temporary card so I can go about my business. Everyone I’ve interacted with at this location genuinely cares about their customers.
Even though this location is right on Michigan, it’s never as busy as I’d expect it to be! I’ve never had to wait in line for the ATMs.

Most of my experiences with Bank of America have been mediocre at best so I never thought I’d see the day when I would give Bank of America not just a positive review, but a perfect 5 out of 5, but a recent experience easily justified it.
I had recently found out that my landlord was under foreclosure and because of this, needed to prove I’d paid my past rent as well as paid my security deposits. Silly me I had rarely saved my receipts from my cashier’s checks, but Paris at Bank of America came to the rescue. He was able to pull more than a year’s worth of receipts for me and without any hassle or extra charge. Best of all, I appreciated his empathy toward my frustrating situation. He was fantastic to deal with and totally made up for all of BoA’s past sins. Thanks Paris!

OUTSTANDING service. Best Bank of America branch I have ever been to.
I walked in yesterday morning to deposit some checks, and I was greeted right as I walked in. I also lost my debit card, and the replacement I ordered through Bank of America’s online chat was mailed to my old address (even though I gave the guy the right mailing information). When I mentioned this situation to the bank teller, she apoligized and set me up with a banker who once again apologized and quickly got me a temporary debit card.
This branch took care of everything I needed, everyone was super friendly, and everyone addressed me by name. I felt like they genuinely cared about me as a customer, and I’ll definitely be returning.
