Francisca is probably the best waxer I’ve ever had. No, she is. I’ve been getting waxed for 12 years and had been doing it myself for about the last 6 years because it’s always hard to find a really good place and let’s face it– it gets expensive. Her pricing is very reasonable and I didn’t know how I did not go to her sooner living in the neighborhood for so long. Whatever she does keeps the wax completely fresh for a few weeks before any hair starts to come back… Just absolutely fantastic…

Francisca is amazing. I immediately let her know that it was my first time being waxed and that I was a little nervous. She made me feel completely at ease.
The waxing is painful and she was very up front about that but let me know that she would talk me through the process. She kept conversation going the entire time which I appreciated because it helped to keep your mind off of the whole process.
She was quick and efficient. I am throughly satisfied with the results and will definitely be going back in a few weeks!

Francisca is amazing, very personable and nice! Very very very fast Brazilian waxing. My appointment was at 1pm, I got there at 12:55 she was waiting and ready for me. I immediately went to the room and was done by 1:15. The fastest wax I have ever had. She uses hard wax (no strips) and for some reason it makes the pain less intense. I’m not saying it’s painless (Francisca even says it will hurt) but the technique she uses makes the pain bearable. She takes bigger sections at once so the session isn’t drawn out (I really appreciated that). She noticed I had thick hair so she put some solution on me so that I won’t bump and so my skin will return to normal faster. Super affordable, $ 55 for an initial wax and she gives you 20% off every 4 – 6 weeks, then after you buy 5 services, the 6th is FREE! She has definitely made me a regular customer. Would definitely recommend her to others.

Francisca is probably the best waxer I’ve ever had in Chicago… and I’ve had quite a few waxers.
I’m already at a disadvantage when it comes to waxing because I have fair, sensitive skin and red hair (which = thick and unruly). The wax itself was as painless as a wax can be, and I love that she uses hard wax, which makes the process SO much better.
I mentioned that I’m prone to ingrowns so after the wax she used this awesome magnetic/​static wand on the bikini area to basically vaporize any bacteria that might be lurking around that could cause an ingrown. Also, by the time I got home, all the redness from the job was gone which is absolutely unheard of on my skin!
I highly highly highly recommend Francisca, even if getting over to Division is a hassle for you. Trust me, she’s worth it!

She’s lovely.
Francesca is very welcoming. She must take notes or has a great memory about everything you’ve ever discussed. She’s seen it all, so no need to be shy. She has this thing where its like talking to a sister or friend that you’re catching up with. Either way, I appreciate her personable skills and enjoy the conversations.
She’s professional and efficient.
I only get the Brazilian wax service with her as recommended from another friend who is another great client of hers. I always shower and take two ibuprofen two hours prior to the visit to lessen the discomfort because let’s face it, your lady part is still a sensitive area. Francesca moves quickly and strategically. You literally lay down, butterfly, spread goo there, spread goo here, yank, yank, knees to chest, ok. goo here, goo there, yank, yank, and Poof! Bald! 10 minutes honestly.

Getting brazilian waxes was something my friend and I thought about for a while but were a bit afraid to pull the trigger on. We did a lot of research and ended up with Francesca.
Francesca was amazing. She was very honest about when there would be pain and the wax would feel especially hot. She made comfortable small talk, too. I didn’t know if I would want to talk through this experience, but she definitely made me feel at ease.
Brazilians don’t have to be an uncomfortable experience. Francesca worked quickly and efficiently and the results were perfect. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I have been to several waxing places since moving to Chicago in attempts to find someone to replace my girl in Ohio. I continued to be let down place after place until now.
Francesca is the bomb. Seriously. Like, amazing. She’s fast, she’s thorough (uses tweezers to get any missed shorter hairs) and has a great personality to boot. First time in my 19 years of getting waxed that my lady parts don’t feel sore after a wax. Highly recommended. 10 thumbs up.

Francisca is awesome! I came here a few days ago for my first brazilian… and needless to say I was kind of scared. You hear it’s all kinds of painful. francisca made me feel at ease and not at all awkward considering what was happening. I am happy to report the pain was pretty minimal. i actually think it hurt more to get my eye brows threaded than when she waxed me. no joke. she’s THAT good. Getting in was pretty easy with the online booking. overall the experience was wonderful, minimal pain (I mean come on. it’s still waxing. it still hurt a little.) Needless to say I will be back

Francisca is great! I initially came across her through an offer on either Groupon or Living Social for a cheap brazillian. Who knew I’d continue to come here from then on? Ive been coming back to her for about over a year. Francisca is so sweet, she remembers her clients and is easy to talk to while getting waxed so its never uncomfortable. She also always tries to find time for you whenever you want to come in which is awesome. She really takes care of her clients.
The spa itself is located within Salon Moka. Its street parking so give yourself extra time to find a spot. Prices are about the same anywhere else about $ 55 for a brazillian, but you can always double check online. Ive never gotten a facial here before but would like to. She does take credit card. Overall shes great I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

I love Francesca! She is the sweeting person you will meet. I go to her for my brazilians.
She does a great job remembering what you tell her. We usually talk throughout the whole procedure, because well, lets be honest. getting your pubic hair pulled out is kinda uncomfortable and it distracts me from the little pain there is. She is very quick, which I really like. Getting a brazilian is kinda painful, but I can tolerate pain pretty well, so it’s not such a big deal for me. But she also tries to make it as painless as possible.
Making appointments are really easy. I usually schedule my appointments right after with her. But when I need to reschedule, it’s really easy to do it online.
Francesca has a great loyalty program for her regulars. Every 6th visit is free and you get 20% off each service, so your brazilian comes out to $ 45 instead of $ 55. I really like that. You just have to get every 4 – 6 weeks.

Ok so I’ve been seeing Francisca for about 2 years now for waxing & I swear I’ve been meaning to write this review because I know how heavily we as consumers use Unilocal.
Anyway — Francisca is soooooo good! I had seen countless others & she is by far the best. Always very accomodating, I can usually get an appt same day. She is gentle & truly specializes in skin care so seeing her on the regular will definitely have your flower (as I like to call it) nice, right, & smooth. Prior to seeing her I would always get ingrowns, after her? Hardly ever. She gave me some cleanser from the Collins line she uses & it works great. Oh & that electric wand, whatever its called, helped a ton too.
OH & THE STAMP CARD? How can you not love that? If you are looking for someone, trust… she is it!

I absolutely love Francesca!!! She’s professional, thorough, and makes an effort to remember her regulars. After two beautiful years with her waxing services I have to say I am really going to miss her when I move back to California. She’s awesome at what she does and has become my gold standard! Finding a new Francesca in LA is not going to be easy.
I’ve recommended her to several girl friends and they all love her as well.

The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is the location. I wish it was in my neighborhood.
That said. WOW. Virtually painless wax. I deviated from hard wax for a bit, but I’m now back. It’s superior. Afterwards my skin is not tender for an entire day, but soft and perfect. And it’s QUICK.
Franchesca is great. The room is clean and bright, with nice music. I got a Groupon for this, but I think I’ll be back.
