Work is excellent and well priced — but be prepared to follow up. Record keeping is sparse, hours are loose, and communication is not great, but the staff is helpful and friendly. If you can handle the follow up (which I can) this is a great local business that does good work for good prices. I’ll definitely go back.

Definitely will be coming back here for all my engraving needs! They were friendly, quick, and more than reasonable with the pricing. I needed a gift engraved, a glass top watch case, within two days. they told me NO PROBLEM. Things Remembered and a local shop by my house made it seem like I was asking for a space ship to be engraved.
It looks great and I was so happy. I’m so glad I discovered this gem!

This place is amazing, and I am so thankful for their help this past weekend. I wanted to have a knife engraved and first took it to Chicago Award Source. Chicago Award Source’s engraving wasn’t noticeable and looked terrible. Chicago Award Source wasn’t willing to try to even fix it and tried to charge me $ 71 for the disaster they made.
I then called BETS for their help. They were able to engrave the other side of the knife, and it looks perfect. I wish I had found this place first. I highly recommend them and will definitely return to this place.

I’ve been to BETS before. They help you make a decision on what kind of Award you’d like made. Trophy, Pewter Statue, Glass Display, Wall Plaque. They also help you out on how and what kind of wording you’d like on the Award. The Crew at BETS were so patient with me as I didn’t know what kind of Award I’d like to have made or how I wanted it worded. If you want to give someone an Award for their Hard Work or Major Accomplishment BETS is the place to go.

I needed a couple of trophies made for an event that I was producing and filming for a client the following day. We had the idea to make these trophies just the day before and I had no idea how easy or hard it would be to do so. I called and went to a couple of trophy shops that couldn’t help me in the time allotted. But then I found BETS online and gave them a call; they told me to come in because they had lots of inventory and were sure they’d be able to accommodate me. They exceeded my expectations! Not only did they have the mount that I needed, they helped solve a few design issues we had as well. And they were such a lovely family. They rushed through my order and got it all done while I went next door and had a quick lunch. They were very reasonably priced. I would recommend them for all you engraving and trophy needs. Additionally, they sell the cutest little gifts, like these sweet little coins that you can have engraved.

We were in a pinch to get 32, yes 32, plates engraved on a Saturday for an event that night. Bishops not only got them done, but even stayed late until the order was complete! They were priced well, they were done perfectly, and they saved us from a potential disaster with an important client.
There is something to be said for working with a family business, they go above and beyond to make things work. Thank you Bishops, I look forward to bringing you more business! Bravo!

I was on a time crunch to have a memorial plaque made and BETS came through in the clutch! It’s a small mom and pop shop, but had great turnaround time and were very helpful. Their prices are very affordable as well. I’d highly recommend BETS to anyone in the neighborhood that needs a plaque, trophy, or any type of engraving in a timely fashion.

I had an excellent experience with BETS. I ordered a plaque and I never even had to set foot in the shop to get a beautiful custom plaque. Everything was done over email, telephone, and fax. Our proof was sent to us via fax and once approved it was shipped to us sooner than they predicted for us. I felt that their customer service was strong over the telephone and that all three women I spoke too were courteous and helpful.
When I received the plaque in the mail, it was pristine and very beautiful. I am very happy with what I ordered and received, especially given that I never set foot once in their store.

I went to this store to get a trophy for my soccer team and had a great experience. They have a huge inventory to choose from and the owner helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She even gave me a discount and offered to mail the plaque to me the next day. I will be coming back here for all of my trophy needs.

I have come here for trophy engraing for several years and find the prices quoted fair and accurate. I don’t think any job ever took more than 3 to 4 days.
These older ladies always seemed very nice to me.

I had some whistles and clipboards engraved as gifts here. The clipboards turned out fine, as they were done by laser and required little human intervention. The whistles, engraved by hand, did not turn out so well: most were off-​center, several had clearly shifted during the engraving process and were fairly messed up, and they were finished a full two weeks after the estimated date. Fine, mistakes happen, but then they tried to charge me twice what I was quoted because they’d underestimated how difficult the job was. Not very professional.
I just tried to get get a quote for another batch of clipboards; I’ll spare you the incredibly insulting customer service both on the phone and in person, but the price for the clipboards this time was a full 30% more. So much for repeat business.
