I preface this by saying I am not a Burger King fan. It’s okay in a pinch, but not a destination spot for me. We heard they were now serving hot dogs, grilled to be specific. Mom likes hot dogs and I thought it might be a nice option for her. I ordered one grilled and one chili cheese dog. When I got them home, much to my horror, the regular hot dog had KETCHUP on it. Good grief, this is CHICAGO. Ketchup on hot dogs is a mortal sin for anyone over 12. It never occurred to me to even mention it. Anyhow, both were baaaaaad. I’d never order it again.

Even Burger King deserves a review. I love this location. The food is always hot, made correctly and delicious! The staff is ALWAYS very friendly. They must treat their employees well as I frequently see the same friendly faces. The interior is not so great. Not dirty, just old. The only décor the dining room room is missing is that 70’s and 80’s green or orange carpet. Careful when you sit down, the bench might be a rocking chair in disguise. Also, just ignore the creaking sounds the booth makes as you adjust your butt. At the end of the day we go for the food and service and this Burger King location delivers on both of those.

I love the staff at this BK. They are always so professional and never get my order wrong. I also love the fact that Burger King now sells Dasani Bubbly soda water.

Service was good, seating area was clean, and the food quality was very good. It was a great place to kill some time while my car got serviced at the Firestone next door. Free WiFi too!

Let’s just say the main reason I’m writing about this location, is unlike many BKs within city limits that I’ve been disappointed with in the past(i.e. running out of food items at random times such as breakfast items, and other various probs), this one tends to be one of their better locations in the city. It’s also an older location, so I would second Jacob about the bathroom situation here, and agree with him on how much I love the convenience of their back door to the parking lot. :) I’m not holding the bathroom thing against this location, since the only times I ever come to this location anyway are usually when I happen to crave a BK fix when in the area, and get food to go. This location also has a 24 hour drive thru, which is a nice bonus right there!

OK, I don’t usually do reviews about chain restaurants, so I automatically subtracted a star for that. I’ve been here so many times when I wanted a quick lunch and got just that. This place is usually very fast. The manager, a middle-aged guy, is usually running the front at lunchtime and things move along quickly from the time you walk in to the time you’re done. They got the order right every time I’ve come here in the last 3 years, usually 1 – 2 times a month. It’s run very efficiently and that makes it a place I return to. The food is well, y’know, Burger King. You got your Whoppers, fries, and drink like at any other one in the universe. I never used their bathrooms, so I can’t confirm or deny Jacob J’s report. There are a couple of lonely, weird old men who frequent the place and sit around drinking coffee. One drives a junker station wagon that looks like it contains all his belongings. He might be the one responsible for the aforementioned exploding bowels…

No comments on food. Convenient parking in the back, you can enter through a rear door. Bathrooms are back there also, not a great feature, since its easy for tards to use the washroom, allow their bowels to explode all over the place and leave the area a stinking mess. Rotten. Tables are usually clean. They’ve got Ice in the summer, 99 cent bags, not sure about the pounds. yeah!
