My family has purchased seafood from Chitown since it moved to the northwest side of Chicago. and before that, on the east side. The new location is easy to get to and plenty of street parking is available. Everyone there is welcoming and helpful. The shop is clean and neat. The fish we bought was fresh and fairly priced. We appreciated the variety available. At Christmas time shopping, we had so much to choose from for our «Feast of Seven Fish»! Needless to say, there were a lot more than 7 types of fish on our table on Christmas Eve. Thank you, Chitown!

I’m so glad we stopped by to check it out. Very fresh and very affordable prices for scallops and gulf shrimp (things we normally don’t splurge on). There is more than what is on display and the friendly staff are helpful. Many, many options for frozen choices (great if you like breaded things!). Double check their website for hours of operation.

This fish store recently opened by our house and it is great! The fish is very fresh and the prices are really low (especially compared to the fish market just down the street from this store). Definitely check it out and support this new small business!
