History

Established in 2010.

Gathering for its first worship service in September 2010, Cornerstone was established by believers whose vision was a church where all people could feel welcome and find a «place to belong.» Our strength has been in welcoming those who are from various countries of origin, cultures, ethnicities, first languages, generations, life stages, vocations, social and economic classes, places of residence, and so forth. Rather than finding unity in the experience of common background, we have looked to our common Savior, common citizenship in heaven, and common faith. Our diversity combined with our unity has led us into a richness of life and worship that is uncommon.

A great place to know you, what you are and God’s plan for living a purposeful life. An itsy bitsy congregation (say 50 with kids) in a safe family environment.
ENTRANCE — on 16th street through the daycare.
Guest Pastor CALVIN ROBINSON — an alum of Moody Bible Institute with clear precise teaching of the gospel. The first Pastor where I feel that the Sermon is encouraging, reminding me about MY life and MY future. The lessons are in a bullet form, expanded and a conclusion. Easy to understand. Sermon also applies to the general meaning of life.
CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL — available.
COMMUNION — my 2nd pre-​package experience.
MEMBERS — sincerely thoughtful and kind. We all have issues, but this group will NOT impose on you.
MUSIC — a 1 – 3 team in acoustic. Mixture of classic and modern tunes. Passionate, enthusiastic participants.
AFTER SERVICE GATHERING — light snack at the basketball court. LOL Once a month, there will be a potluck lunch.
VENUE — a sublet of a day care center. Room divider. *wink*

It’s a great church we are a family who loves God and loves people. They have a youth program, adult Sunday school and women and men ministries. Please come visit the service praise and worship God together!

Service starts at 9:30am on Sundays. Cornerstone is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. (C&MA) If you’re looking for a church grounded in the Bible, this is it. Great worship team, sermons, and bible community groups to share prayers and dive deeper into the Word. There are even small groups and socials.
