I’ve have worked with Cpc construction on several rehab projects. They have always done a professional & quality job on all the homes they have done. From remodeled kitchens, baths, basements, to windows, plumbing, drywall & painting, you name it they can do it. Their attention to details & knowledge of home construction is top rated. I look forward to working with them again & I highly recommend them to anyone for their home remodeling needs.

I have worked with Pat on a number of occasions and I can say with assurance that Pat and Chris alike are reputable, knowledgeable, capable, dependable, reliable & respectful contractors. From start to finish their work is solid and their interaction with clients is thorough. CPC construction is the first (and only) company I refer when asked by my clients if I can recommend a good company for various construction and rough to finish carpentry needs. In fact I have referred them twice in the past week! Heads up boys!

I called them for a quote on our condo building’s basement damage. The guy who answered the phone just said, «hello?» and didn’t say the company name. Unprofessional. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So they came and took a look and gave us a quote, no problem. The next day, Chris proceeded to call every other day for a week, wondering if we’d made our decision. He even called on Christmas Eve.
The condo association decided to go with another construction company, so I decided to call CPC back and see if they would give me a quote to fix some water damage on our kitchen ceiling in our own condo. Chris returned my call and said, «I think you should stick with whomever you gave the basement job to. Good luck.» And then he hung up on me!
I would not recommend CPC just because of their blatant nonprofessional behavior. Chris obviously didn’t understand that the basement job and our kitchen ceiling were two totally different repair jobs, nor did he ask for any clarification.
I will not be calling these guys back for any more quotes.

I manage over 100 properties throughout Chicagoland and approx one year was fortunate enough to meet Chris and Pat. Since meeting them they have helped my company immensely and through a variety of services — ranging from small single family home renovations to full scale rehab of apartment buildings. They have helped me with projects geographically spanning from the city of Chicago to Highland Park. They are honest, hard working and have always stayed in constant communication with me throughout every project — big or small. I would highly encourage anyone hire them.

We hired Pat’s team to do a partial rehab on our 100+ year old home — leveling some flooring and replacing drywall. We researched other companies and he gave us the best estimate for the work that needed done. They came in on-​estimate and within their timeline. Pat was very knowledgeable on what needed to be done and was very easy to get in touch with. We were very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Pat Coleman and Brian Schmitt for a gut rehab on a home I own in the city last year. The job was significant — they redid an entire floor including new walls, electric, updated plumbing and so on. They were knowledgable and provided a thorough estimate with a schedule which they stuck to. it was always easy to get ahold of them with questions, either by phone, text or email. Their workers were courteous and professional. They finished the job on time and on budget (give or take a few small additions I made along the way — inevitable with a job that big, I presume). I’m happy with the work — it’s been almost a year and there have been no issues.
