Danielle is fantastic! We hired her to do our May 30 wedding this year and her photos were just amazing! I was talking with my hair stylist recently and she was even commenting on how great Danielle was and how she caught some many great moments without even knowing she was there. It is a great compliment when another professional says how great you are! After the wedding, we asked her to do a photo shoot with our dog. Even though he can be distracted and energetic Danielle managed to get great shots! Her personality also really helps you to feel comfortable. Can’t say enough good things. You will not be disappointed.

I wish I could give Danielle 100 stars! She was such a big part of making our wedding day special. Danielle has a gift for making people feel comfortable. My new husband and I are both a little awkward about being photographed, but with Danielle, it was easy AND fun, which we didn’t think was possible. I’ve heard horror stories about wedding photographers who add to the stress of the day, but Danielle was super helpful and accommodating. She even checked on my musician as he was setting up for our ceremony so I wouldn’t stress about it. On top of all that, our photos are absolutely beautiful. I can’t recommend her enough!

Danielle is a photography genius — she definitely knows what she is doing and how to make your pictures look incredible! I have worked with other photographers but I’m telling you, she is the best! We were lucky enough to have her capture our September 2013 wedding and she did an AMAZING job! My husband hates having his picture taken but she somehow managed to make him look really happy in all of them! I got so many compliments from everyone on how gorgeous and unique our photos were. She’s also just a really cool person — sweet with the right amount of assertiveness to get the job done. I have to say, I can’t imagine any other photographer doing a better job at capturing our big day. I would recommend her to anyone!

However, I still wouldnt know it because Danielle made me a model… and my fiancé, who seriously looked like he was impersonating Stevie Wonder in most of our pics. HA
She knew when the light would be perfect for our shoot.
She was great at directing us to make the perfect picture (where to put arms, head, hair, etc).
She had all the great and amazing spots around the city. I am not talking about all the ones everyone knows about.
She has the secret, hidden spots that are seriously breathtaking!
My family and friends were so impressed with our photos! Shit, I was impressed with our photos! I didnt know I could look like that…
And I have to mention her contagious laugh. At one point, I was laughing so hard I was crying and then I started to sweat! HAHAHA. I had to take a minute to compose myself… but during all of that, she got one of my favorite pics of us both dying laughing hysterically and it was so cute

I had my reservations about engagement photos, especially as friend after friend posted their cheesy, stock, awkward photos on Facebook for me to cringe through. But my fiancée insisted on them, and she had worked with Danielle once before and spoke so highly of her.
Meeting Danielle for the first time was like greeting an old friend. She was so natural and comfortable, and had such an eye for each shot. She incorporated the right amount of her own artistic flare, but took suggestions from both of us as to alternate photos and ideas.
She was a ton of fun to work with. She made it easy, and it went by fast. The whole session felt very natural.
The most important part is the end result; the photos. I really could not have been happier with them. I am super glad we did this, and I can’t imagine having worked with anyone else. If you are looking for engagement or wedding photos, look no further. The rates are comparable, but the photos are anything but.

Danielle was fantastic! She not only does amazing work but she is a joy to work with. She is friendly, always quick to respond, and incredibly creative. She is courteous but is not afraid to take charge of a large bridal party or a large group waiting outside the church for the bride and groom to exit. I have now gotten to work with her 3 times: an engagement session, a boudoir session, and our wedding day, and each time she was able to make us both feel extremely comfortable, and each resulted in amazing photos.
The week before the wedding we were unsure of the forecast and Danielle was great at helping me decide on what locations to take our portraits at depending on if it rained or not. She knows what she is doing and was so great at helping me work out our timeline and locations.
The day of the wedding she showed up early and ready to go. We ended up having less time for photos in between the ceremony and reception than originally planned, and she was wonderful about making sure we had every photo that she knew we wanted.
We have only seen sneak peeks from our wedding day but we know the rest will be superb. Choosing Danielle was one of the best wedding decisions we made by far!

When I was searching for a wedding photographer I knew I needed someone who took excellent photos at a reasonable price. I found Danielle through another bride on an online bridal community and was hooked the minute I started looking through her work. Not only does Danielle take amazing group and family photos, but she has a fantastic eye for capturing those little moments that make up the magic of a wedding day through candid shots. She’s also incredibly professional and just a fabulous person to boot — basically exactly the sort of person you want to have around you all day.
Not getting married? Don’t worry, I would (and will) go to Danielle with all my photographing needs. I’d been toying with the idea of joining one of her boudoir marathons and decided just to go for it. Let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. Of course, I was super nervous and worried how the photos would turn out, but I really had a blast and the photos are amazing! Ladies, we all have parts of our body we love and parts we hate, but Danielle totally put me to ease and totally made me look like a rockstar. Love it!

We LOVED our wedding pictures! She and her assistant, Jake Poehls, did an incredible job! They worked so well together and with our videographer to capture our day. I was so busy the week before the wedding that I had no idea what I wanted to do with pictures, and she made the suggestions and we went with it – we couldn’t be happier! I thought it was soo nice that before she left the wedding, she made sure to come to me to take any last minute pictures.
I also did a boudoir session with Danielle. I was super nervous, but she made you feel so comfortable. It was a lot of fun to do! My body is not perfect, but she made me feel like a supermodel! I felt so confident after the session!
She responds to questions quickly — brides always love fast communication — and is super helpful with suggestions.
She has a great eye for capturing things so beautifully. Our friends and family can’t stop complimenting our photos! Danielle is truly amazing!

I loved Danielle. Her work is top notch and her prices are very reasonable (and she’s a sweet peach too!) She works primarily with natural light and her photo journalistic style really captures moments beautifully. Her photos of my family remain some of my all time favorites. In fact, I need to contact her again soon to document more of my growing family. One gripe, and by writing this positive review I may make it worse, she books up fast! But, in sum, you can’t go wrong with Danielle. Highly recommended.

Danielle is truly beyond exceptional — she’s the PERFECT photographer. She’s timely, available, flexible, helpful, and an unbelievable talent behind the lens. Viewing her website alone was enough to get us (and our families and our friends) overwhelmingly excited to see our wedding photos, but what we got so far surpassed our greatest expectations that we honestly feel like we landed the big prize. She is there but not there, snapping up every moment you might have wanted in a photo, even if you didn’t ask for it. She has a way with people, even the most camera shy, that draws out a personality in a photograph, such that what you end up with is a true picture of the person/​people/​moment/​etc. To have her eye to capture our wedding day is the absolutely best way to hold onto the memories. We struck gold and anyone who can book her should feel lucky.

Danielle is absolutely wonderful. She truly has a gift for photography and did an amazing job making us feel comfortable. Her photojournalistic approach allows you to completely be yourself while she guides you with gentle suggestion to capture you at your best. Not an easy task considering our unpredictable 3 month old son and the bags under our eyes. I wish we knew about her for our wedding. Luckily we have found her in time for our little one’s first moments. She is talented, flexible, reasonably priced, prompt in her responses and turn around time for photos, and just plain fun to be around. But most important, the photos are really freakin’ great! We will treasure these images forever and cannot wait to build our collection with her.

What else can I say about Danielle that has not already been said? Danielle did a boudoir session with me. I was very nervous about how the pictures would look and also just plain nervous about being scantily clad around someone else. Danielle did an amazing job at making me comfortable. She has an amazing personality and is very creative. I am more than happy with my pictures and look forward to doing a family session with her.

Can’t help but like Danielle. She was easy to work with. Very friendly. Got along with all of our guests, so they felt comfortable around her. She’s not afraid to make suggestions. Most importantly, takes damn good photos! Great angles, good color! We’ve only seen the proofs for our wedding online (there’s more on the CD coming our way via snail mail); and we are just thrilled with them. They really did capture the mood and feel we were going for. Amazing.

I fully endorse Danielle Aquiline for any of your photography needs. It was the best decision I made for my September 2006 wedding. Of all of the things you worry about at your wedding, this was not one of them. I am not creative, so Danielle worked with me to get an idea of what I wanted, and she ran with it. I couldn’t have imagined more perfect pictures. She went above and beyond what I had in mind. She is completely professional, yet funny and warm, making my wedding party, family, and friends feel at ease. Her results far exceeded my expectations, yielding little works of art for me to treasure forever. I have received many compliments on my pictures, and I feel indebted to her for capturing my memories so perfectly. This will be one of the best decisions you can make for your wedding or any other special event! You will not regret it.

I found Danielle off craigslist listed as a part-​time wedding photographer. I sent her an email and she was in touch immediately and sent over her portfolio. Her cost is very reasonable, if not low for what you get. She’s easy to work with, listens, gives suggestions when asked, has a great sense of humor, and makes the day less stressful. She was great with repsonding to any question I had quickly, as well as meeting with us beforehand to talk over details. She’s very flexible and I highly recommend her for any wedding or event as your photographer. My pictures say it all.
