Fantastic work and very accommodating, friendly and professional staff, clear communication: these guys are the best. I wish they could have gotten me in sooner, but they do great work, so it’s no surprise their docket is so full. Hopefully I won’t need to, but I would definitely use them again. They do some really cool custom work on wranglers.

Got in an accident & insurance company recommended them. I checked out this one & several others on Unilocal.These reviews are for real! This body shop was great. Everyone was super nice. They called to check in & give a status update between body repairs & painting. So glad I went with this place! I hope I don’t need them again :-) but if i do, I’ll definitely give them a returning customer!

This is my second time bringing my car to Erie — LaSalle. My previous experience was very different from this most recent one, as this second time around, my car was deemed totaled by my insurance company and it didn’t receive repairs as a result.
The first time my car was repaired here, it was returned to me on time and in excellent condition. This second time, I spoke at length with, Steve M., who walked me through the process of what occurs after a car is deemed totaled and how I can handle the follow up details. He spoke with me (not ‘to’ me or ‘at’ me — which, as a woman, I appreciated greatly because I’ve experienced mistreatment at other body shops in the past) with clarity, kindness and respect. I truly appreciated his help as it made the unexpected news of learning that my car wasn’t going home with me much more bearable.
Overall, the staff here is ALWAYS friendly, clear and respectful and the work they do is high quality. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, man or woman!

Been struggling with a stubborn license plate for quite some time without success. Made a call to Erie-​LaSalle Body Shop to see if they could help and they were able to get us in the next day and it was a matter of minutes to get everything taken care of and with great customer service too! I know this seems like a small service, but it had been wearing on us and is so great to check off the list. Thanks Erie-​LaSalle Body Shop!

Friendliest staff!
I brought my car in because the front bumper was coming loose, long and behold they stated I would need a brand new bumper. The gentleman helping me was very honest about cost and I told him I would not be able to pay that and asked if there was any way of doing some other way that is cheaper.
He of course was very honest again about what they would do to the car and how it would not be that appealing. I said do it anyway. They were very accommodating and took my car in right away to work on it.
I highly recommend this auto body shop for anyone needing repairs to their car.
I plan to keep using them and eventually get my bumper fixed the proper way.

WOW is the first word that comes to mind when I think of the service and quality at Erie– LaSalle Body Shop! When someone ran into the back of my 2012 WV CC Luxury car I was very upset. Erie-​LaSalle is the place that their insurance recommended I go and they sure did not disappoint! They did a wonderful job and my baby was just as beautiful when I got her back as the day I drove it off the new car lot!
Even when I brought the car back to get a faulty light fixture (Not Erie-LaSalle’s fault) replaced, I was treated with the same courtesy and respect I received the first day I walked in their door!
Later, I went to the owner Bob with an issue and he took the time the to listen and look over the car with me. He explained my problem and even though it had nothing to do with his shop or employees, he still recommended a quality place for me to get repairs, Ladies and Gentlemen… That is High Quality Service!!!
I wish more companies in America operated in such a magnificent manner. I highly endorse this company!

As horrible as I felt when a pick up truck rammed into my backend, I immediately took solace in the fact that Erie-​Lasalle was my body shop. I had another car repaired there before and knew from experience the level of quality care that I was going to get. It starts the minute you walk in the front door. The people behind the desk are so welcoming and so courteous that it’s hard to describe. You’re treated as if your car and your concern is the only one they have to deal with, and obviously, that’s not the case. As I expected, the work required to repair my car was done flawlessly and promptly and my car was returned to me as clean as the day I drove it off the showroom floor. Car accidents are emotionally draining and very inconvenient for everyone, but knowing you have a place to go that will take complete care of you efficiently and correctly is very comforting. Erie-​Lasalle Body Shop is your only choice when you need car repair!

The service is great and they did an excellent job on my car. I admit my Type-​A side didn’t like leaving my car in the hands of others, but these guys were great, on time and you can’t even tell the car was damaged. I highly recommend Erie-​LaSalle and would go back in a minute.

Been there three times. Never a problem and this time I noticed something else. They planned to perform, within the normal repair process, a step which was part of the estimate. However, the final bill was $ 150 less than the estimate because, it was explained, it turned out the repair could be perfected without that particular step – the sort of thing that couldn’t be determined until the painting process was well underway.
The work was outstanding, done on time, and the car looks great. So, they obviously could have charged me the original estimate price because I have no idea which steps are used and which are not – as long as the car looks right. I paid for this repair on my own with no insurance company involvement, so there was no expert/​adjuster to review things. I could have been fooled but these people don’t do that. They are people of integrity who do only the needed work and charge only for work actually done. I remain a big fan and called today to tell them I appreciated how this repair was handled.

I haven’t had any prior experience with body shops but Erie-​LaSalle sets the standard. Some highlights:
* They worked seamlessly with my insurance company to simplify the payment process
* Even though repairs took a little longer than originally estimated, they kept me updated throughout the process and offered a rental option.
* In addition to detailing and washing my car prior to pickup, it looks like they attempted to repair/​buff out some of the other small scratches I’ve accumulated over the years
All in all an excellent experience, and it’s clear why these guys have been around for so long.

Just left Erie Lasalle body shop & just have to say this is one of the BEST body shops in Chicago, EXCELLENT customer service! I’m a former auto insurance adjuster & always loved coming here for work, now, many yrs removed from the industry here as a customer, I’m even more impressed. Everyone from Marco at the front desk to all the owners/​managers/​body techs… are a total class act. Great work, great integrity, great customer service! If you unfortunately have a damaged vehicle, THIS is the place to go for repairs!

I found this repair shop because of my insurance company but I’ve been going back ever since within insurance. They make the repair process seamless and do some of the best work I’ve seen. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experience. Ivanka kept giving me wrong dates for my car, didn’t follow up on phone calls. 2 months later and multiple «delays» and I don’t have my car back. Wouldn’t recommend them. If you have gotten into a car accident try Gerber collision and Glass.

Helpful and friendly from the first phone call, and patiently answering questions, from the moment we dropped off our car for body work they dealt directly with the insurance company. The work was impeccable. I hope we won’t need them again, but if another idiot runs a red light and hits our car we’ll be back to Erie-​LaSalle!

My left front tire was reading low air pressure last week and I went to Firestone and had them add some air for me. However it was reading low pressure again this morning and I was so confused. So I went to Erie — Lasalle Body Shop hoping they can add air for me again. They were very friendly and had a guy checking my tire pressure immediately after I pulled over my car. After checking he told me that there’s a nail in my tire. He then showed me and another guy (could be the repair manager) the nail. The manager told me they can fix the tire — it will take about 10 to 15 minutes and it’s free! I was so surprised as I thought it might take hours and money to fix it. They plugged the tire and gave my car back to me within 10 minutes. Thank you guys so much and I really appreciate your help!!! Will definitely come back for other services!

Absolutely the highest quality service, great customer service. My car was involved in accident in the winter and needed substantial repairs. It now looks like nothing happened. The rep at the body shop kept full communication with me by email and phone at all times informing me about the status of the car.
It is probably more expensive than other shops but worth every penny.

Exceeded my expectations-​from the initial call to set up my repair to the final pick-​up. Everyone showed concern, was professional, service oriented, and friendly. Steve kept me updated via emails and phone. He also took a genuine interest in me and asked about a remodeling project I was in the middle of – great customer relations!
When the repair process was complete, my car came back to me not only clean and shiny at the outside repair site, but also inside – down to the floor mats.

Best customer service ever from a body shop. They kept me up to date with repairs and I felt like my car was in good hands. They even checked my tire pressures a few weeks later when I was in the neighborhood and my sensor started lighting up. Hopefully I won’t dent my car again in the near future but if I ever had to return I would be more than happy to.

My wife purchased a detail for my vehicle, and I brought it in a few weeks ago. I had a couple of problems, but it was taken care of so well and with so much amazing customer service that I had to write a review. Hey, things happen. Great family owned business with nice personalized service. My vehicle is now better than it was when I brought it to them, and I’m happy knowing that good customer service still exists in the world of body shops. Amazing location. Very convenient. Hope I never need to come in for anything major, but will know that I’m in good hands if it ever happens.
