Food is fantastic! It’s my favorite place in my neighborhood. The service is equally as awesome, and the staff is really sweet. The décor is adorable, and everything is very clean. They do have free Wi-Fi and serve some alcohol. My only complaint is their hours. It seems they open and close whenever the feel like it, regardless of the hours posted on their door or website. They are always closed on Mondays and Tuesdays currently. I always call before I go.

This place has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had in Chicago. I’m from L.A. and that is saying a lot for a city that lacks in good Mexican food. The coffee is fantastic as well as the service. Prices are just right that will keep you coming back for more.

The food is tasty. Especially the nachos. And you can’t beat Thirsty Thursdays. Have had a few problems with the café being closed early when I didn’t expect it though. Nice place to have a informal meeting or do group work. The coffee was great too.

Delicious tostadas de tinga & micheladas before the Sox game were a great idea! It’s right on 35th Street, west of this great ballpark! The host staff are very friendly and the smell of the foods being prepared are enough to ask«What is that? & Can we order some for us too?» Stop by and discover this gem for yourself… you will not be disappointed.

Chocolate cake was ridiculously gigantic. I often passed this place up for many moons but I never quite stopped in. A dear friend of mine invited me to lunch so we can kiki and talk. So we took the ride and I loved it. I had the salad(no biggie) but it was really good. Than I decided that I needed a slice of their cake. Oh gosh did I misjudge the size. It looked as if it could easily be shared by two but of course my dear friend really didn’t want any(as she is semi health conscious) and that did me well to devore this fine choclate confection. But of course guilt set in. Now what is going to bring me back is that for a Café that is very artsy, they sell liquor. I love this! The atmosphere is quant and the fact that on Friday’s they have«Loteria»(Mexican version of Bingo) really made me WANT to come back. But again, please know that they are only open on Thursdays thru Sunday. Something of which I totlaly blocked out. But they are thinking of opening up soon on Wednesday’s so that should be good. Check them out, and expeience some pretty good Mexican Food, but stay for the RUMCHATACUPCAKES that are usually made on Fridays! LOVEIT.

Been there twice, first time for breakfast and wasn’t bad, but I don’t want to see the pancake mix that u are using is the same I have at home for blueberry pancakes. I returned for a torta for dinner one night and it was by far the worst torta I ever had. This is a family run place and both times I went there’s only family there. They really gotta up their quality if food if they want to survive. I wish them luck and will give them one more shot bc I support the local businesses.

Love, love, love this place. Their house blend coffee is so yummy I almost OD’ed on it. I’m totally serious — I mean, who does that??? But I couldn’t stop drinking it! The last time I was there(a Friday afternoon) they had Loteria night — such a shame we couldn’t stay — we hope to return to go a couple rounds. Prices are ridiculously cheap — staff amazingly friendly. I feel so at home here. Hours are a little scattered so make sure to call ahead to see if they are open — seriously — I’ve been disappointed when trying to get my coffee and cupcake fix only to find they were closed. Nice place to unwind, have a glass of wine, or a cup of coffee. Although I wish them success, right now I like that they are my little secret. :)

First time trying Jazzy Bean… I’m impressed. I had the Jazzy Bluesberry pancakes with sausage and roasted potatoes… Tasty! Coffee was good, pleasant service/server, and good food for the price. I really like the atmosphere and décor too. I will be back to try their lunch menu, looks good! BONUS, They serve bottled beer and a small selection of wines, and pozole and tamales on the weekend.
