After years as a big-​firm lawyer, I founded my law office to make first-​rate legal representation available to ordinary people, under-​served communities, and small businesses –South Side, West Side, all Chicago and all Illinois. «Justice for all» is my philosophy. I’ve worked as a litigator for big Chicago law firms and as a law professor in the Chicago area. I’ve clerked for judges on the federal courts of Appeals and trial courts in Chicago. I’ve been a lawyer since 1999.

I have a Michigan PhD and degrees from Cambridge and Princeton and a law degree from Ohio State Law (summa). I’ve published articles which have been cited by judges in top journals in discrimination, disability and age discrimination law, business and corporate law, human rights, and freedom of speech.

A police officer once described me as «relentless» — and took my card. I don’t stop. If there’s a case to be made for you, I’ll find it and I’ll make it. I don’t back down, and I don’t give up.
