He has lectured internationally on complex orthodontic work on adults. His philosophy with children is to see them at age 7 but to minimize early treatment because most treatment can be done once, later. This post must be 8 months old and now you are complaining. There is nothing untrue from previous reviews. Only facts that your office manager is mean and rude and you did not proceed as we expected. Forget it and chalk it up to experience. Unilocal is for complaints and the way that woman treated me and your followup was awful. Customer service was lacking. Thank you for your lengthy untrue followup but that will not change things. Your story is not congruent with ours. No one is trying to discredit or harm you but just to give a true opinion. You just don’t want to hear complaints and you have twisted the story around by saying I wanted information when I was only trying to make an appt. This is from April. Case closed. You also are incorrect in stating I was combative in my one short conversation regarding an appt with that office woman. She was the aggressor. Your facts are wrong and you have no right to bother me with comments and emails. I will never meet with you. I just want you to know that that will never happen. Now put the issue to rest. Take your office off of Unilocal if you cant take any criticism. You are all wrong so deal with it. Don’t email me again please.

I brought my twins in to get there teeth fixed they were pretty bad I thought for sure they were going to need braces he told me he could fix them with invisaline I didn’t believe it they turned out great and my twins were very happy with the results!

I was a patient of McCoy’s and personally I felt that he was rude to me and other patients. He lacks patience and good bedside manner. I remember going and feeling huge anxiety about what negative thing he might say to me. Majority of the hygienists were kind although the space all the staff members work in on patients lacks privacy. I also recall patients being told by the receptionist to call their parents to get money. My teeth are still straight, however, I wish that my insurance had covered another practice.

Brought my other son in for braces and same great experience. My boys are typical 9 & 10 year olds — rough & tumble. They’ve knocked their braces out of alignment and broken them repeatedly and Dr. McCoy’s office is AWESOME about getting them in for repairs. Superior service and attention here!

Just for the record, The insurance did not side with this practice (I am not calling him a liar but he should check with his insurance people before making comments) if you care to discuss this, since you know who I am, you may send something in writing so that I can forward to my insurance company. Due to the misinformation given at the time my services were rendered, I did not return with my other child, I did pay for services rendered in full as my insurance stated was due on my behalf. I even paid ahead of time once this entire billing issue was cleared. I have since seen another orthodontist with absolutely no consequences at all and still paid the same I paid at this facility after my run in with the attempt to collect more than was allowed under our plan which remained the same benefits.
As previously stated in my review, I was simply not pleased with the way the insurance was handled and I simply advised patients to review everything. I did not state any negative comment about the treatment. The work was good, but the year I went there, there were NO Saturday hours and the latest appointment was 5:15. If things have changed since WONDERFUL! Don’t try to make me out to be a liar when I was simply stating facts. If patients choose to be oblivious to what their insurance covers and what is not covered that is their choice, I’m simply advising them to be informed. I am a honest person and was simply watching out for middle class America that seems to get shafted every time we turn around.
I can now honestly say, I’ve experienced better…

2 kids going here. I have a third that will be going
Here. Believe me I’m not excited to spend the money but
If I have to then it might as well be McCoy.
He also does Ortho work on my niece and. 2 nephews.
Staff is pleasant and very easy going.
Can’t say enough good things.
