After reading previous reviews. I feel like lots of lies. I have been coming here for a couple of years.
Always first class. Amazing massages. I’ve never been asked for a tip and massages were always great.
Highly Recommend.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
I’ll attempt to summarize as much as I can, but there was a lot wrong with my deep tissue massage.
First of all, they had me pay $ 85 for a one hour deep tissue massage BEFORE my service even started. That was the first red flag. I’ve been receiving massages for years. I’ve heard of putting a card number down to hold a reservation, but to completely pay for the massage before is happens is unreasonable, but whatever. Then the lady at the front desk asked me how much I’d like to tip??? Tip? Before she even starts the service? I told her I would be tipping after the service was complete.
The lady at the front desk then leads me back to my room and tells me to undress and lay down. I needed to use the bathroom so she told me to undress, put a towel on, and she would show me to the bathroom. Weird, I thought, so I’m just gonna walk shirtless in a towel to the bathroom I guess.
She leads me to the bathroom and says «you take steam shower» I was like, «aahh…ok?» she then set up a towel on the bench in the shower and turned the steam on. Ok, this is a nice amenity I thought. But she just left after that. No instruction. How long do I stay in here? 5 mins? 20? Is this cutting into my hour massage time? I stayed for 5 mins then sheepishly tip toed in my towel back to my room.
I met my massage therapist and tried to have a consultation with her about my bad lower back and how I’d like her to spend extra time on it. She cut me short and said just lay down and well talk after that, so I did. But we didn’t talk after that. She just started massaging me-​and not a deep tissue massage, but a swedish massage.
I asked her if she could ‘find the knots’ and ‘apply more pressure’ as that is what a deep tissue massage therapist would normally do. Her reply was that a deep tissue massage was the same as a swedish, just harder… what?! That’s completely false! Any trained professional would tell you that. They are completely different techniques. Google it for goodness sakes!
Then the phone range at the front desk. She stopped massaging immediately and said «sorry!» as she was leaving the room to go answer the phone. This is when I got up, got dressed, walked to the front and demanded a refund. She had been ‘massaging’ me for a total of 10 mins so she said she would only charge me $ 20. I told her no, I paid for a service and I did not receive that service so I would like a full refund. Her counter offer was to only charge me $ 10. I just said screw it, received a partial refund, and left with a still aching lower back.
I know I’ve written a lot here, but honestly this is a fraction of the confusion and awful service I received at this place. Please, give your time and money to a company that will take care of you i.e. not Lily Spa

I attempted to surprise my husband with a last minute massage on Valentine’ Day. I told them several times that he was coming in but I would pay for it. When I called, they said they couldn’t take my card over the phone, so I would have to come in. I said I would be in in a few hours, but then they charged my husband before they would do the massage! It was so annoying. I won’t be back. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that my husband said the massage was okay… not great.

The spa is cute and clean; unfortunately that is where the good review ends. We went in for a relaxing couple massage — but that proved impossible with the women who chatted with each other the entire time. Our massages were worse then one from my 12 year old sister; instead of a professional massage, it felt more like a purposeless rubdown by untrained amateurs. We will not return.

I came in one day for a facial & massage and it was mediocre at best. I really, really wanted to like this place because the prices, they’re open late and was able to get me in that day. Although the space looked nice they lacked detail of what makes a spa. When I called in there was a HUGE language barrier and I wasn’t able to really get any questions answered about their services other their hours. I wasn’t asked any questions about my treatment preferences for my massage. The massage pressure was sporadic and the masseuse didn’t ease the pressure even after my request. The facial didn’t even seem like one. No hot towel was used in any part of the treatment– for 20ish minutes was just a series of watery masks to be wiped off with a napkin that I swear re-​rinsing and re-​wiping on my face. After that, a thick mask applied and I was then left in the dark for about 20 minutes for it to dry. In all, it was a big dissapointment and I wouldn’t recommend going.

Just had my first massage at Lily Spa. I initially selected it because 1) it is open on Sunday, and 2) it’s very close to my house. I’m a fan, and will most certainly be back.
The price is more than reasonable. $ 60 for an hour massage (for new clients) is a steal as far as I’m concerned. The quality of the massage I received was five stars. It was thorough and exactly as I’d asked. The only thing that made this a four star experience as opposed to a five star experience was the lack of a blanket on the table. I was covered with a towel instead, and (perhaps it’s personal preference) I would have enjoyed my experience one more star with a blanket.
I will certainly return to Lily Spa!

Just happened to pass by and stopped in to check it out… So glad I did! The place is clean, with a nice décor and has an awesome steam/​shower. The rooms are very clean with fresh towels, soft lighting and music. Jessica was very personable and gave an excellent massage. I returned a week later and had Yunna whom is deceptively strong for her size and gave an incredible deep tissue massage. Yunna’s back walking skills are amazing. For wonderful, skilled massages I highly recommend!

This is the kind of place you drop into at the spare of the moment when you’re walking by with extra money in your pocket. It is NOT a dependable luxury spa where you go to unwind and be pampered for your money. I booked a facial & massage a week in advance, only to drive across the city, park and walk up to find the place CLOSED! When I called the owner they didn’t even remember I had an appointment @ 11:00 a.m. (they «Open» at 10:30). Needless to say I got back into my car and called my usual salon. Yes, it cost more… but I was greeted @ the door. They hung up my coat, fixed me a cappucino and showed me to my personal locker & steam. All of this before 2 professionals provided great service. What good is saving a few bucks when people don’t even care enough to show up?

Atmosphere is definitely a plus, and the hours are nice. I do find quality of the work not bad, but perhaps a tad sporadic. I prefer the older, more experienced people who have made this more of a profession as opposed to a temporary job.

My mom and I try a new place for pampering each year when she comes to visit and this year we went to Lily Spa. I did not know much about it but thought we would try it as I live right across the street. We both had amazing experiences there. We each got a one hour massage and a 50 min facial and I can’t say enough how pleased we were. We were not only happy with the services we received but also by the professionalism of the employees, the cleanliness of the the spa, and the unbeatable prices. We have tried spas all over the city of Chicago from Lincoln Park to the Gold Coast and this is by far on the top of the list!

I stopped by today after searching the internet for a great place for a foot massage and I found it! This new spa is extremely clean and modern.
After the foot massage, I also asked for a hand massage and she was happy to! All for $ 30! They gave me a tour of the facility after and I was impressed!
A simple little gem in the Lakeview/​Roscoe area! I will return! You can’t beat the price! Don’t let the price fool you either. I’m a clean freak and couldn’t fiind a flaw with the place! They have only been open for 3 months so be sure to come out and support them!

I love this place and recommend it to anyone. I tried this place on the recommendation of my friend who enjoyed the foot massage she got here and I’m really glad I found it. I’ve been here about five times for the foot massage, chair massage, and deep tissue massage. The prices can’t be beat, I think the chair massage (15 minutes for $ 10) is a particularly good value. They are very professional, the facilities are pristine, and they do a great job.

I went here with my boyfriend recently and we both enjoyed our massages. They made sure to ask how the pressure was and it was a relaxing environment. They were very nice aand the massages were great and affordable. They even give a discount the first time you go. I highly recommend Lily Spa.

I found this spa supremely relaxing, clean and nicely appointed. And the massage was excellent. Yunna was powerful for such a small person and responsive when the pressure was too light or too strong. Plus a half hour massage is $ 40 for first-​time customers, so it’s a great value too! I’ll be back…
