Mad Dash on Madison 5K

There are a couple of activities to do while enjoying the Blackhawks Training Camp… one of them is the Mad Dash to Madison 5k.
I loved the course, it had wide streets… which means NO BOTTLENECKS!
The one thing about the course that was unpleasant was the smell… we ran down streets with factories and the smell was disgusting. I guess the smell was motivation to run faster to get past it. :)
With my registration for the Mad Dash 2011 I got a shirt (not dri fit), a Patrick Sharp bobble head, and admission to the scrimmage game. It’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
In addition to the 5k run, they also have a 10k rollerblade, a bags tournament, and a youth 3 on 3 floor hockey, a blackhawks practice/​scrimmage, and live music.
This is a true family fest, and a must for Hawks fan.
