Mission 2 Organize

We had the girls for Mission To organize come in and help us get organized after moving into a new house — they were fabulous. From the minute they walked in and put on their fancy shoe covers until they walked out with all of the stuff we didn’t need anymore to donate for us –they were absolutely amazing. We highly recommend them to anyone that is moving or needs to organize and make sense of anything in their house.
Their level of detail in class is unapproachable, they were fun friendly and very detailed.

Schae and Bahar are spectacular. I have been working with them for 2 years for various projects and they have never disappointed me. In fact, they have saved our family from an extreme amount of stress and grief and I would not know what I would have done without them over the last few years. I am an executive working mother with an extremely busy schedule and I have been described as very anal and particular. I also know I can be very demanding not only because of my lack of time, but my need for order and cleanliness around my home and office. I have also worked with several other professional organizers over the years before meeting Schae and Bahar and they are exceptional.
I have used M2O for several projects as well as ongoing organization but the list I provide below shows the versatility and experience that Schae and Bahar bring to the table.
1 — Staged/​decluttered a home that I put up for sale in a very short amount time, which was not an easy task given i have two young boys at home and lots of plastic toys. House looked exceptional with very little trace of children and showed very well per my realtor which ultimately ended up in an above market sale.
2 — Move management — Due to the quick sale, we also had to move quickly. While my family was away on vacation, they packed my entire home and had it ready to move into storage and new temporary home while we wait for our new home to be built. The logistics for the move were difficult (a 2 day move in snow) but they handled almost everything from packing to unpacking, managing the movers and continuing to organize a much smaller temporary space.
3 — Clean up and organization of my storage unit — once very difficult to move around and find things, the storage unit is well organized and thought out so it is easy for us to go in and out, and grab seasonal items given the small temporary space we are in
4 — Reorganization of my office and filing systems — years of papers pile up, and they meticulously went through piles and piles and put them in a system that was easy and eliminated anything that was unnecessary… ie. old warranties, magazines, newpapers boxes of old documents and statements that needed to be shredded, etc.
5 — Setting up home for new baby — We are still in our rental and I am expecting our third child in just a few days. Three weeks ago, I realized I had nothing ready with boxes piling up and no where to put them. M2O made room, decluttered to make room and et everything up in a perfectly functional and simple way and we are ready to welcome our new addition.
Our next big project is another move and I’m so relieved I will have Schae and Bahar to help us. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

A life changing experience. I will be the first one to admit that I am not the most tidy person when it comes to my home. I used to use a system of random stacks and piles to organize my belongings. After Schae and Bahar worked their magic on our condo my eyes were open. They were professional and a lot of fun to work with. Not only did they do the heavy lifting of finding a place for all of our stuff, they showed how we could keep it up ourselves. Everything became so easy to just put something back where «it lives» rather than feeling overwhelmed by all of our stuff everywhere. After moving to Boston, we have continued their ways… I will never go back to letting gravity be my organizing system. I would recommend them to anyone.

Schae and Bahar did a great job organizing my basement. I didn’t expect to get both business owners for my session, a nice surprise! In addition, they were super personable and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

This is the third professional organizer I try in Chicago. Of the first two, one was to hard, the other too soft, and Mission2Organize was just right. Schae and Bahar are real pros. They showed up on time and ready to work on organizing my large storage room and attic, my small office, and my loft. There were several heavy objects that had to be moved down the hall or up a tall ladder to the attic, and these women are strong! Most important, they are quick and not afraid of hard work.

M2O worked wonders for me. They completely organized two of my bedrooms in just 4 hours. They patiently organized all my clothes & makeup. I didn’t think there was any hope for the 3^rd bedroom, but they worked wonders sorting out junk. They also have advice about what organization containers to buy. They are worth their weight in gold.

This is our third time using mission 2 organize. Each and every time at Schae and Bahar have been prompt, courteous, and helpful. They’ve been efficient and well worth the money that we have paid them. They have organized our lives in so many ways. Being organized in our home give us a sense of calmness and they certainly carry that air about them. We would highly recommend mission to organize to anyone

Now that Schae, Bahar, and Suzie have reorganized and decluttered every single space in my home, I’m sitting down to write a review the same night. It feels good to check (sorry girls, not chuck), one more thing off of my to-​do list.
I’ve used professional organizers before, so I know how the system works, and I don’t think that I’m the easiest of clients. I have very high standards and was already pretty decently organized. This time around, I wanted more than the standard purge/​sort/​recycle. I really wanted to take things to the next level of organizational precision.
After interviewing about a half dozen organizers, I settled on M2O. Easy personalities, friendly, and very reasonable price-​wise. I also really like the fact that they always bring two organizers… it really speeds the process along tremendously (something I learned the first time around).
3 full days later, and every space in my home — kitchen, 2 bathrooms, entry closet, linen closet, office closet, master closet, and laundry room — has been turned upside down, shaken, and put back together into beautiful, organized nirvana.
From our initial phone consultation, Schae asked me about a shopping list for containers from the Container Store. I wasn’t so sure about this idea, but she seemed pretty confident from the dozen snapshots that I sent her about my style and quantity they would need, and figured I’d let her give it a try. I’m not going to contain my excitement about these purchases any longer… they are AMAZING. Seriously, worth the money, and Schae nailed a great look for my place. And, there were only about 6 items left to return when we were through. That’s skill. If you’re not taking advantage of this aspect of their service, you are seriously missing out.
One oddity of M2O: they require a 15 minute paid break per 3 hour block. It’s an 8% rate hike, effectively, but it wasn’t communicated to me in advance so I though it was a bit of a bait-​and-​switch to spring it on me at the onset of our first session. Still, their rates are quite reasonable so I didn’t mind doing it (and they worked hard), I just wished it had been part of their initial disclosure.
OK, that’s it. I’m getting up to go peek in some cabinets and smile.

Schae and Bahar are not just professional organizers. They are professional life changers. They have been to my studio home twice for three hours each time and the quality of my life has been drastically improved. Schae guided me to come up with file types that actually made sense for me, then using her label maker helped me start filing! Bahar made my bookshelves look gorgeous, she unpacked my books and gave them an order that is completely accessible. She also unpacked my glass paperweight collection and artfully arranged them on the bookshelves.
My life is better and the quality of life I enjoy in my home has been vastly improved because of Schae and Bahar’s hard work and dedication to professional organization. There is no higher compliment I can give. These ladies do life changing work, in a timely manner, with good humor, and outstanding care. When I recommend them to friends I explain how much they have helped me. I am so grateful to know I can count on them again and again.

Those ladies are truly know how to organize!
In only a few days my all house was back in order, but best of it that they gave me tips and tricks how to keep it that way. Highly recommended!

In the past year, I’ve hired Mission 2 Organize three times! I’m addicted. It is such a wonderful feeling to have your life put in order. Could you do it without them? Maybe, but you AREN’T doing it. That was the problem. Anyone *could* probably do it, but you aren’t. Without them, you’ll keep procrastinating. It won’t be easy. It will take ten times longer. It is too daunting. You don’t know where to start. You’ll get distracted. And even if it does finally get done, it still won’t be as good in the end. If you are thinking about hiring help — hire Mission 2 Organize. Having the help of TWO people at once feels so much more efficient. I can’t commend their lack of judgement enough: true professionals that will make you feel so comfortable and leave you feeling like you are on cloud nine to finally have your act together.
My first session was about a year ago: I wanted to clean out my basement storage unit. It had boxes stacked to the ceiling and then some. Some of those boxes hadn’t been opened in 10 years from 2 houses ago. Not only was it disorganized, but I truly had no idea what was down there. By the time they left, everything was sorted and labelled. They took LOTS of donations with them and I was able to throw away TONS of garbage that I didn’t even know I had. Before they arrived, I found this area completely overwhelming, but they jumped right in to help. I knew this would be a really unpleasant task, all day in a damp dim dungeon — at one point, we even found a huge pile of mice droppings due to them feasting on an old bag of grass seed I was storing down there. Disgusting! — but these two professionals took it all in stride. They didn’t freak out like I did. One year later, my sister called and asked if she could borrow something that I had not used in about 5 years. I knew EXACTLY where to find it and it was the biggest relief. I owe it all to Schae and Bahar.
The second visit, about 11 months later, I was dealing with a new job, plus grad school, plus a recent marriage separation, and I was just overwhelmed. Somehow, I had allowed my guest room to basically become an episode of hoarders. It was beyond out of control. There were stacks and stacks of clothes covering every square inch of the bed and floor. Mission 2 Organize agreed to help on incredibly short notice. Bahar and Schae were totally hands-​on and made me feel so much more comfortable about something that I was personally so ashamed of. (According to them, they’ve always seen worse.) Having them there to help was this enormous life saver. They keep close track of time and make sure the steady progress keeps up all day. Not only did they sort through the parts that I asked for, but they essentially reorganized SIX additional clothing and linen closets while they were in there! It provided this enormous relief to know that I could finally invite friends and family over to my home again.
About a month after that, I had them back for help with my office. In addition to the office, while they were there, they also tackled my front hall closet and laundry closet. They are so kind to my large dog who always wants to be right under foot and in the middle of the action. Once these two professionals have been through all of your personal belongings, they truly feel like friends … impressively organized friends. While the cost does seem high at first, it is obviously worth it or I wouldn’t keep coming back for more. I’m addicted. I’ve used them three times and I continue to watch their monthly coupons and deals because there is almost always more to do. For example, even though there is nothing «wrong» with my kitchen, I just know I will LOVE it so much more after Mission 2 Organize works their true magic.
Life is less stressful when I feel more organized at home. They are just what the doctor ordered. At this rate, I can’t imagine anything better than having Mission 2 Organize work through every room, every closet, every cabinet, and every drawer in my entire home. THANK YOU M2O!!!

I am a very organized person… in my head. But, in reality, there is no evidence of this in my home. My adult daughter also suffers from «lack of orgaization-​itis» But she admits it freely and has no delusions about it.
This being the case, I decided to call M2O. They arrived promptly. I was worried that they might start crying and leave when they saw the work they had to do. But, they didn’t. What these women did in two hours was simply AMAZING! They were systematic and efficient. They consulted me on any questions they had about what to keep, what to to donate or what to toss.
By the time they finished, I felt like I had been on vacation while fairies organized my kitchen! Seriously, this is the best thing you could ever do for yourself if you are of those born without the organization gene. You will feel pleased. You will feel proud. You will feel elated that you are finally organized! My daughter felt everything I just mentioned when she saw our kitchen. In addition to that she was shocked even stunned! :)
I plan to have them back as frequently as I can! One more thing; they take whatever you can no longer use and donate it a homeless shelter. I felt wonderful about that. I’m so happy after my first appointment with M2O. We accomplished so much more than I ever thought was possible!
For my first session, I decided to focus entirely on clothes and shoes specifically in my bedroom and closet. I have a great apartment with tons of space but very little closet space so… it had gotten out of control. I was so embarrassed at first, but after recently filming an episode of Hoarders, Schae and Bahar assured me they had seen much worse.
As we sorted through all of my clothes, they encouraged me to start thinking about items I wanted to donate. Even though it is a service that is included, I somehow missed it on their website– but it’s true– M2O takes ALL of your donations with them at the end of your appointment! It was such a huge stress reliever! And there was no opportunity for me to dig through the bags after they were gone so I couldn’t foolishly talk myself into keeping stuff.
There is a two hour minimum for both organizers to «O your home» at $ 75 per hour. While I feel this rate is extremely reasonable given the level of service and expertise, it was still a bit of a stretch given my current budget. I cannot stress this enough– it was worth every penny and more. Plus, I found so much stuff with tags still on that we matched up with receipts so I’ve been on a return and exchange spree all week and have basically made my money back.
I’m sleeping better and dressing better with my organized room and closet. I can’t wait for my next appointment! THANK YOU M2O!!!

Wow! Talking about exceeding expectations! Schae and Bahar coordinated my Networking/​Birthday Luncheon event on December 7^th. I was expecting a cake and a game or two — what I got was live music, back massages, outstanding cake bites, games, gift bags, and FUN!!! Thank you both SO much for making this such a memorable occassion!

We have moved sooo many times and it seems like we never get to finish unpacking & organized. We have a busy household and 2 crazy busy teens with rooms that were quickly becoming a health hazzard. Desperate, I phoned around to various organizational companies & decided to go with M2O. Before our appt. we did spend a lot ot time emptying out their closets & drawers, donating/​throwing out as much as possible. We did this so that we could utilize the team’s time on organizing rather than sorting. Schae & Bahar arrived promptly, assessed our project, discussed our challenges/​goals & quickly went to work. They were friendly, enthusiastic and my girls thoroughly enjoyed working with them. I chose to run out to get some organizational supplies that they suggested, so that they could use them and help my girls finish the project in one session. I would highly recommend using them as they did a terrific job. The only & teeniest of weaknesses that I could see was that Bahar made a couple of suggestions for storage containers that were pretty & closed-​tops, that would be perfect for adults who don’t want their knickers/​bras on open display in their closet. However, for a teen probably don’t matter — especially like one of mine who seems to skip steps like opening, closing containers and would opt to dropping on the floor! That said, her suggestions for those containers, were ones that I would like to use in an area for myself — so though not perfect for my daughter, it was a great idea to steal for myself. They are lovely ladies, we enjoyed having them help us and would use them again.

Full disclosure: I know both of these women.
That said, our little apartment needed some serious help with a daunting task. Who else could we call other than people we trusted? I mean, you know how you move and you ask friends to help you, and they do, yet you still feel weird about making them do manual labor in exchange (read: «bribe») for beverages and food?
This wasn’t like that.
M2O was prompt, professional, and awesome. They made it *not* feel weird that I had people I knew in my home doing a completely sucky task. Not once.
Before things get out of hand and you find yourself on an episode of «Hoarders», get help from M2O. They’ll help you make those tough decisions like whether or not to throw away that toothbrush you’ve kept in a baggie in a box for 10 years. No judgement.

So I’ve had the privilege of working with Mission 2 Organize LLC a few times over the years with my vacation planning. I even used them for my honeymoon this past October. EVERY TIME I have been blown away!!! They know exactly how to stick to a budget, find the best VALUE in a vacation spot, and deliver everything promptly and professionally. From the multiple options to review to the e-​mail confirmations to the hard copy itineraries with all of our vouchers, etc for the trip. I’ll never use any other travel agent service! I feel lucky to have found such a great service to refer to my friends!

After I broke my arm last fall, I was despairing because my closet and office had gotten out of control and our playroom was full of clothes the kids had outgrown. Phoning around, Mission @ organize is very competitively priced. Schae and Bahar came to my door and we got right to work. Amazing results in just hours and their fun, lively personalities made the time fly. Months later, I am still organized as a result of their tips. If you are looking for organizers, you will not find better ones, and there are a lot of weird ones out there; I looked around quite a bit.

I have worked with Mission 2 Organize on two separate occasions. The first time they came into my office and spent hours transforming it from a disorganized mess into something I was proud to call my office– and that’s saying something! The next time was helping to organize up a PR event at the office where they worked to organize up all of the small details to pull off a spectacular event. It was truly a great event. I am a world-​class procrastinator. 8 months after moving in, there was still a wall of boxes in the middle of my bedroom. It looked like an episode of horders. Only the closest friends were allowed to come over, and I appreciate them for not suggesting I was insane.
I was overwhelmed about where to start, so I just tried to keep it out of my mind. My apartment is so tiny, I had to move things around to unpack things, so sometimes it seemed worse after I’d spent an hour of work. Most of the time, I’d feel so discouraged that I’d just quit for a nap.
Finally I couldn’t take it anymore, and had Mission 2 Organize come out. Suddenly, all motivation and organizing was no longer my problem. She got right to work, even declining a snack after we’d been working for 5 hours. There was nothing that would get in her way. Even a master procrastinator like me couldn’t distract her. It was like that Spoon Full of Sugar scene in Mary Poppins.
Within 2 visits, everything was unpacked. Art was on the walls. Furniture was pleasingly arranged. Somehow everything fit into my teeny-​tiny kitchen. I was even given a shopping list and to-​do list to help keep it that way. And it’s worked.
Honestly, the whole experience was life-​changing. There’s a million other things I needed to get to, and I’ve already finished 7 of them. Sometimes all it takes is a little help getting started. Of course, it was even nicer to benefit from a lot of help.
