The guy here is ridiculous. All i have to say is he is completely unprofessional and it got to the point where we were about to fight. He did not want ro hold up his end of the deal which was if the tints bubbles up in the next few days he will re do it for freee. The attitude i got when i got there!!! Its crazy. He did noy want to do it. I almost got to calling the cops. The tints they use are also cheap quality. I went and got my tints done elsewhere. They used Viper window film tint and it was less than what they were charging here. I cant belive this business is still open the way its being run. That guy is seriously missing a couple screws.. At the end iwasnt going and i demanded a refund. After an hour or two of arguing and almost physically fighting him. He d what was right and gave me my refund. Save the trouble. They have a eay better shop with WAYYYY better prices. message me for shop details

Great Experience!
I had a 3pm appointment on Sat April 18^th for an alarm installation. He showed me the alarm they would install and reiterated the price. I had a BUSY Saturday prior to getting there, so when I walked into their nice comfortable waiting room that was showing the NBA playoffs on TV, I was more than ok with it being a 2 – 2.5 hour job. And the alarm works wonderful. Nothing but quality here! Thanks!

Always awesome service, advice, outcomes. Dan’s done my tint & remote start. About a week ago, I went back to him telling him I wanted to put in better speakers (2013 Taurus). He said no you don’t, the speakers are premium, you just need an inexpensive 400-​watt amp. He was right! :-)

I would give them zero, if I could, simply for being unprofessional. I called them a week ahead for an appointment and they told me that it would take between 1.5 hours and 3 hours to tint my car. When I went to drop my car, the guy told me that he had other things to do and to bring it back two days later. When I asked why he didn’t call me ahead, he said that he forgot where he put my number. Needless to say, that I went elsewhere.

I called these guys asking them to match a discount I found elsewhere and they straight up disrespected me and belittled me simply for asking if they’d do a price match. They literally verbally insulted me over the phone for asking if they had a military discount on Veteran’s Day for Iraq War veterans. Don’t deal with these people and take your business elsewhere!
And the tint these people use is of mediocre quality. There are better quality tints out there! I wish I could give them zero stars.
Update: I purchased an extremely high quality tint package from another shop that doesn’t treat U.S. combat veterans with disrespect. All this despite the fact that MK is literally down the street from my house. Message me for a referral. I’ve already referred several people who are pleased with my referral.

Just got my windows tinted today and I must say I love the quality. Dan is very professional, I appreciated that he took the time to explain and show me the different tint films that the shop offers. I dropped my car off at 1:30pm and Dan asked that I be back at 4pm. I literally walked in at 3:54pm and he was already done. The man is about his business and very punctual, pricing is very good as well. Best part? Lifetime guarantee, can’t get any better than that.

These guys are terrific. My siblings and I wanted to surprise my mother with an auto-​start for Christmas. Off course it was last minutes (like 3 days before). Naturally we went to Best Buy for a quote. We wanted to purchase the unit, wrap-​it, and present it to my mom so she can unwrap it on Christmas. However, every Best Buy was sold out.
I saw the Unilocal for this place and gave it a shot. Not only did they have it in stock, their quote was $ 75 less than Best Buy. Plus they were able to install it the Saturday after Christmas. Best Buy was quoting two weeks later. They were very quick and no problems with the installation!

Dan did a great job on the tint for my Prius! I’ve already recommended him to my other friends who want to save gas in the summer by getting their windows tinted! :)

After my tints, I came back to have an auto start installed in my car. Dan took care of me, and his primary installer hooked up the module with no issues. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and with absolutely no hassle.

looking for a window tinting place, i found through Unilocal and having all these greats reviews, i decided to go to them.
needless to say that dan did not disappoint, delivering great customer service, follow up and honoring the quote he gave me on the phone even though our car had way more windows than he expected.

I am not one to write reviews unless the services has been extremely horrible or above and beyond excellent. That being said…
Dan is a consummate professional. Despite having a backlog of work, he was able to squeeze me in by staying late to accommodate my schedule. I brought in my MB truck to get the windows tinted. Since my vehicle was black on black, he suggest to go with a 35% tint rather than 20% as driving at night in the burbs without street lights can get a bit dark.
He personally does the work and you can tell that he is skilled at what he does and is very careful around the vehicle. He takes pride in his work and the lifetime guarantee is only as good as the shop is around. Being in business for close to 30 years is no small feat. The truck is looking great and I didn’t realize how much of a difference tinting made.
I would easily recommend his services to anyone looking to get their auto tinted without any reservations!

Dan worked on my tints and worked meticulously. MK is very professional and welcoming of many audio needs and specialties.
Dan and I noticed a minor bubble in one of the windows and he immediately asked to redo that portion, which he did and did well. I was very pleased with his work ethic and politeness. I also love the lifetime warranty on his work.

I highly recommend going here for any window tinting. I relocated to Chicago from California and was nervous about finding someone to do my tint without any recommendations. Based on the previous reviews on here, I took the chance and arranged an appointment with Dan. He was able to get me in the next morning at 10am and was done in 2.5 hours. The tint looks amazing and made such a difference on my car. Dan is great and super knowledgeable.
The whole experience was pleasant and went smoothly. They also have wifi so you can bring your computer to kill sometime in the nice waiting room while the tint is being applied. As I said, I highly recommend this place.

Just got my Mitsubishi Lancer ES tinted out here and all I can say is DAN IS THE MAN!!! So much dedication to his work and he stands by it with a lifetime warranty. The windows look absolutely amazing. Gave him my initial thoughts of 35% all around and he gave me his professional opinion that would make the car look cooler. Dan tinted the windows of his FIRST Nissan Juke yesterday !! He did an Amazing job and it was very affordable. I wish my camera phone actually worked so that I could post some pics on Unilocal…
