The best Carmel corn popcorn I’ve ever had!!! Highly recommend it! Be prepared to NOT put it down when you start eating it…

Cold popcorn, overpriced at O’Hare. When you try to contact them to complain, they have no email address and have an answering service fend off their calls. The answering service will take the message and FAX it to the store. So it’s better to go on Unilocal to say if you don’t want your popcorn inedible, stay away from these guys.

Perfect caramel and cheddar! This is my favorite popcorn ever! I only wish there was a location closer to the mag mile for those visits when we don’t have a car to get to it.

How can I be both lucky and unlucky to not live in Chicago? The answer is this place. Unlucky because I can’t enjoy the cheese popcorn every second, minute, hour of my life because I don’t live in Chicago. Lucky because I will likely be 800 pounds if I live in Chicago and end up eating this popcorn nonstop. It’s so addictive and oh so good. First thing I do when I land in Midway or O’hare is hit this place. Absolutely love it.

I like the carmelcorn, the problem is this location’s hours. It’s worse than any bank. 9 – 4 Monday through Friday. What employed person can get here during those hours? It’s pretty frustrating to shop for Xmas gifts for others with these very limited hours. I have a suggestion. Why not do 12−7pm? That way you can get everyone including Cubs fans going to night games!!! 2 stars

I wouldn’t say I’m «nuts» about nuts on Clark, but all in all it’s pretty decent.
The store itself is pretty small, sparely decorated but filled with various popcorn a, chocolates and of course, nuts.
You’ll immediately be offered a sample which I love. I tried to eat so much that I didn’t need to buy any but that didn’t work.
The popcorn is good. A four ounce bag will run your about $ 3. If you get prepackaged popcorn that are scattered throughout the store, be prepared to call your financial institute because it can be upwards of $ 10 for certain containers. Yes– of popcorn.
Get a small bag of better yet, get a sample. I wouldn’t count it out completely, I just felt like their are tons do great popcorn options that don’t make me need to take a loan out on my 401K.
If you’re getting something it’s gotta be the cheddar.

My husband just got back from Chicago with two big boxes of their specialty popcorn that we buy almost every time we are there. Was very pleased to see that they are using non-​GMO products! Hooray Nuts On Clark!!!

Please don’t buy popcorn from Nuts on Clark. They advertise with, and support, the new video signboards around the city which are an eyesore, pollute unnecessarily, shine in residences windows, and are generally unpleasant. Garrett’s popcorn is another option that is delicious.

Good caramel corn. Butter toffee almonds are also good. Nothing exciting to say about this place.

Honestly, if I lived in Wrigleyville, I would weigh 900 lbs because I would go to Nuts on Clark everyday. My dad wanted me to pick up some popcorn for him at this location, and was I in for a treat. All the popcorn is fresh, and the cheese and caramel mix is to die for. However, there is a slight difference depending on when you eat it. I ordered a bag for myself, which was freshly made right there. The melting sensation was a taste that I never experienced in a popcorn. However, if you are traveling with it, that sensation is gone. Not to say that it isn’t good… the popcorn is still absolutely amazing. But it is much, much better if you eat it immediately after it is made. Again, simply the best!

Delicious! Simply the best! Way better than Garrett’s or any other imitator, and everyone who works there always seem so happy and cheerful.

And walking down Clark Street the aroma of the popcorn was smelling really good!
Okay, so now I’m inside and
not quite sure why they call it Nuts on Clark cause as far as the eye can see all I see is heaps of popcorn, in tins, containers, etc.
I mean, In all fairness they had some Nuts
and some chocolate covered nuts,
Many varieties of chocolate covered candies at pretty expensive prices!
This would have been a great place to
take pics but besides being adamantly
told no pics were allowed there was a sign that stated that also.
The workers were very busy packaging popcorn the whole time I was there.
So, Nuts on Clark, granted you smell
up the neighborhood with your sweet smells.
But, you are expensive, have limited hours
and would’nt let me take pics!

I was here on Saturday, out of town visitors wanted to stop here. I got a giant cookie and just ate it today (Tuesday). The sell by date says August 23 2013. I’m skeptical of any cookie lasting that long. This one was certainly dry when I ate it. I wonder when it was baked? I had to heat it up just to make it «soft» again.
No reason to go back here for any reason. From my experience the product I had was not good. So one has to wonder, are all of their products that way?

Delicious bordering on amazing. Both the carmel and the cheese corns are terrific. I personally don’t like it when they’re mixed, I don’t think the flavors of cheese and carmel complement each other. So when I go in I get separate bags – but make no mistake, both styles are definitely both worth trying.
Pricey but not overpriced. The flavors are so rich that you won’t (shouldn’t?) be able to eat a whole bag at once.
This is top shelf quality specialty food, absolutely worth supporting. I think they even won best carmel corn in the country a year or two ago.

As a child I remember my parents taking my brothers and me out of school and going to Cubs games early in the season and for opening day. We’d always stop at Nuts on Clark first and each of us got to pick out what we wanted to bring to the game. Years later, I still go a few blocks out of my way to get my stash before heading to a game but now I go more than on just game days.
I can’t get enough of the dark chocolate covered almonds! WAY better than any other packaged chocolate almonds. They almost have a faint coffee taste to them. They are the best I have ever had. Their cheese and caramel corn blend is way richer and more natural tasting than any of the local big names. My family in the burbs begs me to bring the stuff back to them.
Run, do not walk to Nuts on Clark. But make sure you get there early. The odd hours of 9 – 4 Monday-​Sunday can be slightly annoying but it’s worth it!

Oh man, Nuts on Clark is freakin’ awesome! I love them. Their popcorn is about as unhealthy as it comes but the taste is amazing.
Kettle corn and cheese are my favorite. Worth a stop. I heard they also have locations now at O’Hare and Midway. No excuse now not to try it.

When Saveur magazine names your product as 1 of 100 to have, well, it must be good right?
Yeah, the popcorn is really, really good. The popcorn combo is the best! Caramel, Cheese and Kettle all mixed together! It’s like a rave in Miami in your mouth! Honestly the flavor combinations seem like they shouldn’t work, but they do!
They also have a wide variety of chocolate covered nuts and pretzels, in both white and milk chocolate. While most of the business is mail-​order Nuts on Clark maintain a very clean and tidy operation. Clean is always good, no?

BEST EVER! I used to live near Nuts on Clark Lakeview. SOOO good!
Now that I’m living back in CA, I make a point to pick some up everytime I’m in town. Chicago mix is my favorite! (Half cheese half caramel mix)
I try to fly into Midway so that way, if I don’t make it to the store in the city, I can grab some at the airport before flying home! Bummer, I keep getting good flight deals in/​out of O’Hare. Do they have a shop there yet???

Its like going back in time, I mean black and white time, and entering a candy shop from the 50’s, but entering in through the stock room. Do you follow? Its like enjoying the nostolgia of fruit gummies, caramel popcorn, chocolate covered nuts and pretzals, roasted nuts and licorice that you get to pick out of big clear plastic tubs… in a black and white storage-​like looking room. …to be exact.
Not at all what I expected having lived down the street and passing it weekly for 2 years straight. I guess I just never looked hard enough through the windows to actually see what was inside. Its old school, man… but good stuff. All of the candies and dried fruits seemed pretty fresh and everything is handpacked and catch weight. From what I understand, they do a considerable business and I see why; they are a simple operation. Give the people the quality goods, let them pick it out themselves and you have happy customers.

Big ol’ nuts! I mean, I picked up a tray of assorted nuts and I was stunned at the size of those babies. I didn’t know they came so big! They were all very good tho. I ended up buying a tray for my family back home.
I have yet to try their popcorn but there sure was a long line for them when I went. I regret not trying it after reading some of these reviews. Prices are a little high but I guess people say it’s worth it. Maybe I’ll place an order online.
