I hate giving bad reviews. But as I stated before, experience is everything whether in person or on the phone.
In any case, I’ve been trying to call around different local businesses that do silk screening and digitized printing for tee shirts. When I called this place and asked if they do digitized printing the guy on the other end of the line, with a slightly heavy accent, asked me «what is digitized?» He said they do everything. So I told him that I had a JPEG image that I wanted to put on tee shirts and could he do it. Well I’m not in the printing business and he mentioned some other method that I was not familiar with. So I asked what did that process involve. «It’s good», he informed me. «Nooo. How do you get the image on the shirt?» «I’m fine. We’re fine. We do good!» Long silence. Seeing how difficult this was going to be, I was not in the mood for trying to translate, have misinterpretations and a buildup of frustration trying to figure out just what the hell he was saying. So I just hung up.
It continues to blow me away when businesses don’t seem to get it with dealing with customers, either in person or on the phone. I’m talking about that first initial impression or experience for the customer or potential customer. If that was Lee on the phone, he probably does a lot better in person than on the phone. I’m giving this guy a 1 star now and that’s entirely based on the fact that, to me, if you are a business owner you put your best foot forward. If you can’t do it, hire someone who can. In this case, if this were the owner he should have hired someone who could answer the phone who could promote his business in a better light. He might actually be a pretty nice person to meet. But this is business. With that kind of experience over the phone there’s no telling what might have happened had I placed an order and the order got botched because of mis-​communication.

After speaking with Lee at Pro-​Best, I found that he had the best prices, and after ordering from him, he has the best customer service. Lee is very friendly, very timely with the orders, and fair with his prices. I will continue using Pro-​Best for my T-​shirt needs, and you should too!
