I recently had a contractor install a «new» back door. When he left I had a cracked door that didn’t seal, a deadbolt that didn’t open or close, and 3 doors in which the contractor had access to because he wouldn’t give me my keys back. Josh came to rekey my locks as well as install a new deadbolt. He arrived early (when does that ever happen when someone comes to work on your house?) and explained the work that needed to be done and the costs that would be associated with it. After my acceptation he proceeded with the work. He was professional and the work was done quickly. When Josh left I had a new deadbolt that locked and unlocked, piece of mind that noone would be entering my house uninvited, and even a door that sealed keeping the rain and snow from coming in. I got results that I didn’t even expect! Thanks Josh!

I called for an appointment and got one right away. The owner came and I’m so happy that he did because my lock had been soldered shut with screws. A very difficult case. But he handled it with aplomb! Very knowledgeable. And the price was great! He even made me a key where there wasn’t one. I will always call this company! I recommend them highly! These reviewers were absolutely correct.

Very pleased with the work by Brittany. She showed up on time, removed the stuck latch, and installed a new lock in under an hour. The whole time she was professional and polite even though the stuck latch did not want to cooperate! I would highly recommend her and will use again in the future.

These reviews don’t lie! And don’t bother calling another place. I lost my car keys and needed to move my car before I got a street cleaning ticket. I called a few other locksmiths in the area, some said 2 – 3 hrs, cash only and just seemed too expensive in general. I called Quick Key and explained my situation, Gal arrived 30 minutes after my call. He was great! Very friendly and fast!

Needed to get into the condo association mailbox VERY quickly because of a lost key. Josh was onsite in less than an hour after the request, and was not only polite and professional, but QUICK as the name implies. He gave me an estimate on some additional work as well. We will definitely be working with this company again in the future. Way to go Josh!

If I could only briefly explain why I needed a locksmith last night… if I didn’t live it, I wouldn’t believe it. Long story short, a drug addict neighbor in my condo building wreaked complete havoc, and had used my fire escape as her means to get back in her unit. And to add fuel to the fire, she locked me out of my place from the inside. Can’t make this shit up people.
I called Quick Key based off distance and reviews on Unilocal.He came really fast, was super nice, and got the door open in less than 3 minutes. I think because of my panicked state, he went easy on me as far as the bill. God forbid I need a locksmith again, I will use them 100%!

Gal came to the rescue last night. My key broke off in my Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 U-​Lock after I was shopping at Mariano’s at the Ravenswood Metra Station. I called the company and Gal came out in under twenty minutes. It took about 40 minutes to get through the lock but I got my bike back with no damage to the frame or wheel. Service was great and Gal was very professional and kind.
