I am a Residential Real Estate Expert, a former real estate attorney brought back to life and having a lot more fun helping people buy and sell real estate throughout Chicago!
Our focus is on the neighborhoods from Evanston to Hyde Park, west as far as I94 at the north end, and west of 94, not quite as far as Cicero, but definitely West of Western to the south. Can you list Chicago’s neighborhoods, from north to south, and then back north? Here’s my shot at it (without looking at a map). Let me know how I did!
Rogers Park, Edgewater Beach, Edgewater, Andersonville, Buena Park, Wrigleyville, Lake View, Lincoln Park, Old Town Triangle, Gold Coast, Old Town, Streeterville, River North, Near North, New East Side, Loop, South Loop, Bronzeville, Kenwood, Hyde Park. Then, going west, UIC, Little Italy, Tri-Taylor, Greektown, West Loop, West Loop Gate, Fulton Market, West Town, Kinzie Corridor, Noble Square, Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Ranch Triangle, Sheffield Neighbors, DePaul, Humboldt Park, Logan Square, Avondale, Roscoe Village, Ravenswood, Lincoln Square, Beaumanville, Irving Park, Old Irving, West Rogers Park, (Do you know where Indian Boundary Park is?) West Ridge, and — back to Evanston!
I know I missed at least 2, probably more. Let me know which ones I missed! (there may be a reward involved…)
History
Established in 1992.
I graduated from DePaul U College of Law in Chicago in 1991 and in January 1992 I launched my solo law practice in Whitehall, a small town along the west coast of Michigan. I practiced business, real estate, and estate planning law there until I was divorced and relocated to Evanston in 2000.
I was a real estate attorney here in Chicago during the BOOM years, doing condo conversions, new constructions, and lots and lots of closings.
In 2002 I knew I wanted to switch to being a Realtor, and I got my Realtor’s license. The paperwork I was doing as an attorney wasn’t as interesting as real estate development and sales — I loved that part of my profession. But, as a single mom with 3 kids I couldn’t just switch jobs and start over. Then the recession hit. Ouch.
For several years, just to make ends meet, I worked as both an Attorney and a Realtor. When the economy started to pick up I chose to become a full time Realtor. I’ve never regretted that decision, and I haven’t looked back.

Curious is the word that best describes me. I love to learn. Real estate fascinates me. Construction. Architecture, infrastructure, city planning. I love it all. I’m thrilled to finally be able to follow my passion — working in real estate.
