Tip and Toes Nail Spa

I have had manicure/​pedicures for a very long time. I came here because they were open on Sunday. These people are unprofessional and were very rough with my hands. I noted he left my nails uneven he looked upset. I was told u can go. My polish job was a mess by the same evening. Plus their poor pups who walk around salon clothes were too tight. DO NOT GO HERE!

I don’t understand how they stay in business! Went there out of convenience because I desperately needed a manicure and I was in the area. I had the no chip done by the man (husband?) and it looked like it was done by a 5 year old child! Horrible run outs, streaks, I even had to ask him to buff the tips because he left them really sharp and uneven. To make this experience even more disgusting, he had really long and dirty nails himself and no gloves on! I should have walked out as soon as I walked in.

I read reviews and even though most were bad I decided to try it because it was convenient. First off, it is extremely unprofessional to have 2 dogs walking around. I did hair for 10 years and that is just something you don’t have in a salon. The 1^st time I went for a regular mani. The girl did a pretty good job but she had her young kid with her, who kept interrupting. This made a simple mani take quite awhile. I was on a time crunch, but didn’t say anything. The 2^nd time I got a no chip mani from the owners husband, I believe. Worst no chip I’ve ever had! There was polish all over my skin, cuticles and under my nails, which is causing them to peel not even 24 hours later. I asked for a 3^rd coat of polish, which most places I’ve gone automatically do for free, and was charged an extra 6 dollars! I guess that was his opportunity to up charge when I declined a French mani. I will not be back! For now on I will go the extra distance to get my services done correctly.

The woman who is in charge is rude and rough. I will never go back and I will never recommend to any one. She scrapped my toe so hard that it was bleeding!!! I was horrified to say the least. She doesn’t know that dogs don’t belong in a place of business.

Its okay. I don’t really have any complaints, but its nothing special. My nails always look fine and the prices are reasonable. The pedicure really lasted which is nice, and my regular manicures generally do too. I am not a big fan of the dogs, but other customers seem to like it. (?) My complaints are that the people working there seem genuinely unhappy, the never run the air and its way too hot and humid, and its not the most relaxing place. It does the job in a hurry, but not my first choice.

I used to go here quite often. I took a break during the winter and thought I would get a pedi with the nice weather. I called at 12pm & made an appt for 4:15. I got there at 4:10. A walk in took my spot. They got me set up and I soaked for 45 mins. During that time she kept saying it will be a few more minutes. I said ‘it’s been 45 minutes’. I finally got my pedi. I declined the massage due to time. She took 5.00 off the bill & said she’ll take care of me next time. I said ‘if there is a next time’ (there won’t be). Don’t bother making an appt. You have better luck as a walk-​in.

Worst service ever. My gel manicure began chipping after 2 days. And the guy kept arguing with me when I told him I know what works for my nails. And he Took so long getting off my old gel (he did not use the usual wrap method) and I needed to get to work so didn’t have time for him to do a true manicure I E cutting the cuticles etc. and yet he charged me full price. This is the worst manicure I have ever received I would never ever ever go back there again. I have been doing gel manicures for four years and I have never had one like this!!!

I’ve seen the other reviews and I’m glad I didn’t check them before coming because I might not have come. I have NEVER had a bad experience here with their service. I’ve waited sometimes for longer than expected because they are always so busy but big deal. My nails always look great and so do my toes. I always get the no chip mani and deluxe pedi. The massage is pretty amazing with the deluxe. For a few bucks more it can’t be beat! I will not go anywhere else

Omg!!! I went here 2 weeks ago for a mani pedi and the only saving grace to this place is LING! She was awesome. I wish she was there today. Me and my cousin went here today and some guy did her pedi and the older bigger built bib cut lady did my no chip… horrible experience for both of us! Worst customer service I have ever experienced especially since this is a customer based industry. The guy was rushing to do my cousins toes… She didn’t like the color on half of her foot so she decided to change it… Happens all the time no biggie right… Well he gave her attitude told her to pick something else so she did but he told her my lady was gonna finish her toes so she sat by me and nothing happened so I asked my lady who’s gonna finish her pedi and she stated in the biggest attitude that he was waiting for my cousin to pick a color! Even though she had 20 min ago and sat back down in her chair and watched him clean and pay no attention to her. So my lady told her he’s gonna finish and he did but not without bumps along the way… He did not file down her nails evenly one was still cracked same as she came in. She combined that there were clumps on her nails and she wanted him to fix that… Reasonable request since you’re paying for a PEDICURE… There should be no lumps or running duh… Well he acted so angry it made everyone uncomfortable. now to me. I originally wanted to change it up and instead of a French no chip I wanted to do orange tips… Well after a one round one hand trial I decided nope, that looks stupid and decided on classic French… Well I got an awesome attitude (sarcasm)…she was horrible. My middle fingers didn’t even match in color tip length and two were bunching. I asked her if that was normal… knowing fully well it wasn’t, and she said oh yes that’s normal! Uh huh looks like a child painted my nails! I’m stupid and bc I have worked in the customer service industry I gave her a 30% tip which I regretted the tenth of a second I signed my receipt!!! Worst experience ever!!! I will never spend my money here again! Please be aware stay away!!! If you’re not satisfied they won’t fix it without attitude and tension. So uncomfortable!!! We both had the worst experience ever and this is a luxury. Not many people can afford this luxury they should be great full for everyone that walks in but apparently not! Ughhhh hard earned money thrown away!

I have never been so disappointed from a nail salon EVER in my life! I have been getting my nails done for about 10 years now and after 2 years of an initial bad experience in this salon; I decided to give them another try. I was charged 91 dollars as my total for 2 Mani and Pedi’s. My partner’s job was well done and mine was just horrible. Today is day 2 and the nail paint is chipping off. My toes have a mediocre painting job and I am not sure if it is from the «ESSIE» polish I chose or the paint job that was done. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I’ve known the owners of this Spa for years and they are nothing but nice and polite. The spa is clean and always busy. It’s sounds to me that the people who had problems are not very nice people at all and are very demanding. If you are ever unhappy about your service they are always happy to make things better so you will come back.

I live close by and made a mistake going there two times. They are really quick getting you in one of the chairs but quick on getting you out as well… Both times they didn’t cut my nails straight and same lenght. They kept asking do you want this, that… The lady owner tried doing a design on my toe and it looked like a three year old did it. I’m just not going back.

DISGUSTING!!! By far the WORST nail experience I have had in my life! I don’t even know where to begin. I normally have my own nail salon that I go to, but as a last minute event came up, I needed my nails done last minute and had no time to drive all the way to my usual salon. So I decided to try this neighborhood place.
So to begin, this establishment is run by a husband and wife. My nails were being done by the husband. To start off, I told them that my nails were medium pink powder and they took out their light powder and told me it was medium thinking I wouldn’t notice that my nail color wouldn’t match. I asked for medium again and they insisted that I wouldn’t know the difference. Then, if anyone is unfamiliar with acrylic nails, I was having a typical fill which required using the drill. As I’m sitting there, another technician comes stumbling behind mine and FALLS into him jolting his hand and CUTTING my finger with the drill! I immediately jumped from the pain and a few seconds later there came the blood. He continued doing my nail as if nothing happened!!! I couldn’t believe it. Didn’t ask if I was ok, nothing. Then I asked if he could please wipe the blood off my finger and told me that when I put my hands under the light that it would dry my blood??? Disgusted and annoyed I just thought whatever, I’m not going to argue I just want to leave. As my nails were under the light, in comes his wife to do a client with their salon dog. As she begins doing her client, her cuticle cutters falls to the floor. I turned to watch her as she looked around thinking about what to do. A moment later she blew on them and used them on her client! She didn’t disinfect, sanitize them, nothing! Disgusted, I continued watching. She then proceeded to talk to her dog, and I watched trying to figure out what she was wanting him to do. In complete SHOCK I realized what she was asking!!! She wanted the dog to put the bottle of nail polish in its mouth and bring it to her husband for another client! At this point I was so disgusted I just wanted to leave. I said I needed to use the restroom before I left, which turned out to be like everything else… GROSS and UNSANITARY! As I looked around the bathroom I was surrounded by a knocked over mop bucket and the floor covered in nasty cleaning supplies. It was so filthy you could barely reach the sink to wash your hands. Needless to say, I high-​tailed it out of there the minute I paid my bill… NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!!

What a disappointment.
I went here on a recommendation from an acquaintance that always has great nails. They do have the cutest dog as their greeter, but anything else went downhill. The lady was constantly trying to upsell me … Do you want your eyebrows waxed? Do you want a french manicure? Do you want a pedicure … etc. I just wanted a very plain and simple no chip manicure. I asked them to be particularly sensitive around my cuticles on my thumbs, and that caution went right to the wind. Nothing better than bloody cuticles before a no chip manicure. They charged me an extra $ 1 to use my credit card … and I also tipped handsomely … more than 20%.
To say the least, my pointer finger completely peeled off after 48 hours. (I didn’t even do the dishes!) I went back and I just wanted to take them off and forget about the whole situation. She made me stick my fingers in straight acetone for a painful 5 minutes, then she made me take off the manicure myself with some sort of metal apparatus. Then she told me to wash my hands … then she told me, $ 5 for removal!!! I looked at her, she smiled and said $ 5. I said, «you’re kidding me?!» She said, «No, we always charge for removal.» She essentially blocked the exit until I paid, then her husband ‘escorted’ me out.
I was completely floored by the business practices at Tips N Toes.
Never again!
