Nail Tek Spa and Nails

Worst place I’ve been to. The woman who did my nails didn’t have a clue to what she was doing, she kept having to ask the woman next to her what she was supposed to do. Cut my toenails very poorly and it reeked of incense and grease in the place. I came out smelling terrible, not to mention she didn’t paint my toenails right. :[
Try nails salon across the street, Glam nails is much better.

I first came here 3yrs ago then I stop coming and went somewhere else. I decided to come back a few months ago and I am very pleased with the services but The only thing I am very concerned about is approx 2wks ago I was there, as I was getting my nails done I noticed the nail tech cleaning the spa next to me with a small paper towel and just a very small amt of cleaning solution. I am a nurse and to me this is very very bad because anyone can get baterial infection if these spa are not being cleaned properly. I will be going in soon within the next 2 weeks and this time I am going to pay more attention to the way they clean the spa. Just want to make sure it was only that one lady and not the whole staff. If I do see them not cleaning properly I will report them to the state before someone gets a really bad infection.

This place is not good ~ well @ least not for me. I got a gel manicure here and I thought I scored when I had the owner on work on me (they are usually the best) but she painted only 3 strokes inside my nails exposing the rest of the nails closer to the cuticles and I chose a dark, blue color making it even more noticeable. I also got a pedicure which was okay ~
$ 25 gel manicure + $ 25 pedicure + $ 10 tip = waste of money
* the place is also dated so the ambience is not that nice…

Went during a Saturday afternoon, they only had 3 people working and they were juggling between clients. My water had turned by the time the lady came back to me and she overcut my cuticles which started to bleed. Would not recommend this place.

Ugh! I was there 3 whole hours. :-(
It took them 30 minutes to start on my pedicure and 30 minutes to finish. Then 2 hours to take off an old set of nails, then put on a new set. I happened to get the only guy that works there and his hands were sticky and dirty. He cut through my own nail in the process and it burned the whole time. It took him 15 minutes to polish my nails. I don’t know if I’ll go back.

This is one excellent nail salon!
Anytime I call, they are able to accommodate me and I can come in within the hour. In my experience most salons only have set times where you can come in and waiting as a walk in can take forever.
I always ask for «Little Cho» because my lady has the same name as another woman in the nail spa. She does an excellent job every time. I feel that she goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your nails.
She also remembers a lot about our conversations and makes me feel welcome when I come in. It is very hard to find a consistent lady that you trust for your nails. She also does excellent pedicures (giving extra time for massages) and does a perfect set of gel manicure nails.
I highly recommend you go to his salon — and ask for my lady, she does quality work!

This is my favorite nail salon in chino hills and they do the gel manicure for only $ 25! I see Ana for my manicure and she is amazing… after two weeks the polish hasn’t chipped at all… I just go bc I want a color change. Very friendly staff and you get to watch a movie while you get your nails done:)

I went to this nail salon almost a year ago for my wedding. I went with some of my bridal party and I thought they did a really good job. I got a full set with white tips, pedicure, and two flowers on my big toes, and with tip it was about $ 60. I thought this was expensive at the time, but after doing research of the area it seems about average. The only complaint I really had was the lady that did my nails cut one of my fingers a little but to the point that it was bleeding… and it happened to be my wedding ring finger! But my nails lasted over a week and I am happy we went there.

It’s only been a few days and now my nails are lifting…

I drive 20 min away to continue getting my Nails done here. I’ve been going there for at least 5 years, and will never go anywhere else. The staff truely takes good care of you and NEVER over charges. The prices are very fair and Kim, the Owner, guarantees your satisfaction. She would never be ok with your nails popping off a week later, if you go back and tell her, she will ALWAYS do the right thing and take care of you. They are very friendly and very fair. Never go anywhere else!

I went here because of the review and I will not becoming back. I got a full set and they were popping up 2 days later! Chino hills nail salons are not cheap! I understand when it gets busy people start to rush, but take care of the clients who are still getting their nails done! I don’t recommend this place. My nails didn’t last more than a week!

i’ve been coming here for… at least 5 years! like each one of them — except one of the older lady but i know she tries to do it well, maybe cus she is a little aged. :(anyways, i never make appt and never ask for anyone specific… they are all good and i never need to wait long (except the afternoons on the weekends!).

I’ve been going to NailTek for almost 4 years and I’ve decided that this is the only place I will go to get my nails done. I’ve gone to other salons and none of them compares to the work they do here. They are so welcoming and very precise in their work. The employees are so sweet, especially June. She works really hard and doesn’t really try to sell you anything extra except for nail designs. She also gives you an extra few minutes on the foot massage. =) While they do try to sell you extra stuff like callous treatments, nail designs etc., they do an excellent job.
The ambiance is very nice. I like how they have a TV and play chick flicks! I’ve also gotten my eyebrows done here and they do a great job too. It’s a nice place to have your day of pampering.
