Chula Vista North Pony League

This one has been here a while and the age of the facilities and equipment show. But, there are some obvious signs they care about the park. I was here for my nephew’s practice so I strolled around and noticed there was very little trash, fresh paint in the bathroom and a tidy field. The grass was hideous, but typical for a public park. The infield was in good shape, the lights all had bright bulbs and the homerun fence, specifically the yellow tubing along the top of it, looked brand new. A really great batter’s eye, but makes for homers to dead center few & far between I’m sure. A mini Green Monster. Shares the parking lot with the American Legion which was pretty lively for a Tuesday night… What goes on in an American Legion, I wonder?
