The Oreo Frap is simply awesome! Tasty, filling, and topped off with a single oreo cookie on top.

Delicious muffins and smoothies… went back the other day and had a hot vanilla chai and bagel w/cream cheese. NO disappointment here. Luv the atmosphere… Great place to meet your friends for coffee and treats.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out since it opened and finally made it over there for lunch. My husband and I shared the turkey sandwich, and we each had a frappé, using a buy 1 get one free coupon. We were quite impressed with the quality of food and service. We’ll be back, especially if they keep putting out good coupons :)

I’m a fan of this Latin-American/Coffee Shop fusion. I’ve only been here a few times, but it’s never been too busy, it’s a nice atmosphere for being productive, and there is free wifi with outlets available! The workers are super friendly and even walk around giving out free samples! Also, the living-room-like feel is quite calming. I tried the blended Apple Chai but I was a little disappointed because I really like chai. I think the drink may have been better if served hot. I’ve also tried the blended Mocha and thought it was alright. I will definitely be frequenting this spot when I’m back in SD!

First Impression? Clean and quiet. Barista was helpful but slow. The drinks are mediocre, and the cookies are like smooshed cakes. Devilishly deceiving actually, because they looked crisp and yummy around the edges but in fact, it was pliable. Yeah, I said, «pliable» about a cookie. Plenty O seating and the outside patio is nice enough. But no real people watching can be done here and there isnt much else to look at either. But you can listen to the kids screaming that are coming and going from Pat and Oscars right next door. This is the place to go to read on your kindle in the sunshine or have a quiet conversation. Not much else.

If you’re looking for a quiet spot to hit the books, discuss books, or Facebook, then go on a Sunday in the middle of the day. When I went in there were a total of 4 people inside(including the 2 workers) and 2 people in the outdoor seating area. The place is actually very nice — all leather couches and seats and they have an assortment of books and magazines, in addition to the standard newspaper. I ordered the Vanilla Chair which was tasty and sweet, but tasted more like a liquidated cookie. I think dessert enthusiasts would appreciate this drink quite a bit. My receipt came with a mini Ashton Kutcher because I totally got punk’d thinking soy milk came at no additional cost. This was the result of 1) the cashier’s failure to communicate a difference in cost to the sometimes lactose intolerant customer base and 2) no apparent notes of «Soy for an additional cost» or «Soy $ 0.45» when ordering my drink. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this place, but if I was in the plaza and craving coffee or chai I might stop by. I’d be down to try their hot drinks. Even more down if someone paid for it.

I totally disagree with the statement above. The owner is so kind and helpful. Great product. Great music. Great customer service. Not to mention, they have free wifi and homemade fresh pastries daily.

The Pros: Good Banana Mocha, nice set-up, good location, decent pricing. The Cons: Slow service, while the baristas are nice enough, it seemed obvious to me that neither one wanted to be there and they both made minimum conversation necessary to take my order and get paid. When deciding whether to come back to a coffee shop my two main criteria are quality of drink and friendliness of staff. Four stars for drink quality but two for staff friendliness. If you don’t want to work there, I have friends that do.

Nice décor. Clean and cool area to chill. Free WiFi. Friendly staff. Bit pricey. Had mocha latte, good. Cajeta flavor, just ok. Caramel was average. Located in cute Village walk.

Coffees are great and the atmosphere is relaxing. Only wish the breakfast selection was larger.

I went in and did not want to go out! The pastries are amazing I wanted one of each… They are cheaper than every other coffee shop. Service is great and coffee and tea are awesome… Two thumbs up!
