AT&T

The service was surprisingly good. I came in to upgrade my phone. The first person of contact was friendly. Oscar the representative who helped me was professional and very helpful. When I could not upgrade my device on my computer, he used his work device to upgrade my phone. The phone I wanted was not available with ATT. So Oscar called the Otay Ranch Apple Store a couples of times and set me up with them. It took 30 minutes or so to get my order squared away and I was able to pick up my phone that day. He and his manager were patient, knowledgeable and pleasant. Definitely recommend this place!

Horrible. I purchased the tv and internet bundle. We were promised 100 bucks a month. Our first bill was 70 bucks more than that. So I called and they said «the first bill is higher because of the installation fee and then our next bill should be at our promised price.» Well the next bill comes along and it’s doubled! I’m cancelling ATT today. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely outstanding service! I’ve never had an issue there and the representatives always take the necessary care to address your concerns. Kudos to Eduard Garcia!

Was in this store to change cable and TV services. The contract seemed good. However, the final paper contract was $ 50 higher than agreed upon.
The AT&T employee stated «Our computer program isn’t working correctly, it’s just an error – go ahead and sign anyway.» We asked that he correct this printout first.
Then the store manager (as he identified himself) appeared shook hands and asked if there was a problem. We explained.
The alleged store manager told use the same story of the payment software malfunctioning., stating ‚“I’ll just cross the price in error and initial it, the pen is stronger than the print.”
At this comment, I simply apologized for wasting their time and we left the store contract unsigned.
Conclusion: Really? A billion dollar + company telecommunication company has a problem with their billing software and want’s the customer to sign a contract with the wrong amount?
AT&T, your customers are not stupid and as soon as I find anther phone carrier who will buyout my cellphone contract with you company – out it goes.
Absolutely amazed at the whole unprofessional experience.

I’m not at all a tech geek and I really didn’t have an issue w my 5S however, I had to upgrade to a bigger screen due to eye and vision problems (no I’m not really old or blind). Normally I go and see Jonathan Valenzuela, he has been my point of contact ever since I met him nearly 8yrs ago. He has since moved on to CV Center and now MV. Due to my time constraints I went into the East lake store. It wasn’t busy and as much as I preferred to deal w Jonathan, Junior and Fey were just as professional and personal. They assisted me w what I needed and even offered to help me learn all the bells and whistle of my new phone. I would also like to give thumbs up to the managers Hugo and Deanna as well as Nick and John. This team was very helpful friendly and extremely courteous. I never felt pressure to buy anything else. Yes they showed me some promos but ultimately left me feeling like I was not a «easy target». Thank you all so much for everything!

I recently became an AT&T customer. A billing issue came up and the phone reps refused to help (customer service and a retention specialist). They directed me here. Nick greeted me and looked into the problem. He explained the policy (same as the phone rep) the difference was he listened to my side. He grabbed the manager John and between the two resolved my issue. Hands down they made me a satisfied customer. Top notch attention and customer service

The wait took forever. I even went to sprouts and trader joes and came back and they told me they weren’t able to help me. It seems like they were confused on what they were doing. Its sort of excusable if they were new employees but it seems like they lacked training.

I went there to buy a replacement for my broken ATT phone. The manager (Margo or Mago) got my name and barely said «Wait» I think she was more interested in texting that doing her job.
Only reason I am giving three stars is because of the customer service that Nicholas provided. He was rushing because I told him I had to go back to work ans he was still very nice haha.
Other than that I heard one customer telling them «excellent customer service.»

The customer service is the worst I have EVER dealt with. You are better off calling, they cannot see enough of your account to give you all the information. Really 1 star is too good.

Made an appointment online and when I showed up they took my name and asks me to wait. I waited 15 minutes before asking what was the point of making an appointment, I could have just showed up and waited in line. The Manager tried to explain that by making appointment you will be put ahead of those walking in but they serviced someone ahead of me who showed up at the same time as I did and I had the appointment. Manager didn’t know what she was talking about.
The guy who checked me in also was not helpful. I told him my problem and he said I would have to have to wait till I was seen by someone. Come to find out I couldn’t even be helped there. Very frustrating visit. The employee who welcomed me wasn’t too concerned with helping and more interested in talking to some other customers about non ATT conversation. Very unprofessional.

Be prepared to wait forever snd get inconsistent information, high fee’s, and non-​caring staff.

Save your breath, time and gas… go elsewhere. My first visit was unsuccessful, I went back hoping for better service. The second trip was even worse than the first. I was amazed at the incompetence of the employees there. Definitely won’t come back to this location, it’s too bad because this one is conveniently located near Sprouts & Trader Joe’s. Mission valley is a bit a drive but I’ve had the most success there.

Came in to upgrade my dad to an iPhone6+ 128GB and the sales lady was adamant on trying to get us to upgrade using AT&T Next when we specifically came in for the 2-​year upgrade option which would also bring my dad from unlimited data to 1GB per month. I love AT&T Wireless mainly due to my Government Reps but I hate going into their core stores and being questioned or really interrogated as to why we don’t want to use their Next plan. Seriously?! Give me what I asked for rather than trying to force me on your Next plan to ‘save money’!!! How am I saving money if we are paying full retail on the device for the next 24 months and losing unlimited data?! SMH.

I love AT&T! I have been to this store about 5 or 6 times, of which I have had the pleasure of having Travis help me about 3 or 4 times. He is THE BOMB! He is always pleasant and is very knowledgeable about the products that are offered here. Thanks Travis!!!

Made me wait for AN HOUR ON THE PHONE to then tell me it would take 1 – 2 MONTHS to get back to me about my inaccurate bill. So I switched back to Cox because they cancelled my bundle and decided to charge me $ 100 for the SAME THING after two years. Weren’t willing to negotiate, very rude, very useless. Kept transferring me everywhere too. Can’t even talk to the right person because nobody is properly trained to handle a customer.

I would stay FAR away from this company. I was with ATT for almost 13 years. It was a complete NIGHTMARE. Every time I called with a question I would spend AT LEAST an hour on the phone and I would be transfered a minimum of FIVE times. We bought my husband a new phone last Christmas and they messed up the order so bad I had to spend 3 hours a day on the phone for 3 weeks. I’m not even kidding. No one at this company really knows what they are doing, they just transfer you around until you get so fed up you hang up. One of the last times I called all I wanted to know was how much my bill is every month. And I swear I was transferred 5 different times and every single person gave me a different amount. That was the final straw.
I switched to tmobile because I was told they had a amazing service. And sure enough any time I call with a question it takes only one representative to fully and correctly answer it in a short amount of time. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than 5 mins on the phone with them. And they have never transferred me… NEVER. If you call in and there is a wait, you don’t sit on hold, they call you back (which has only actually happened one time). Tmobile also cut my bill in half. I just can’t believe it. Exponentially better service and I’m paying LESS. I fell like a complete fool for using att for 13 years.
So if you are considering starting service with att RUN. I don’t think you could find a worse company. Save yourself hours of your day and a ton of money but not going with these guys.

This store has the worst customer service. The wait is always horrendous. The employees don’t make any effort to keep their customers. Instead, the first answer is to add more to the bill.

Enough is Enough!!! 3 times my husband has come into this store because his NEW GALAXY NOTE acts like it doesn’t have a SIM card showing no service. They have replaced it to have it happen again. The second time he went in they said they used a tablet SIM card on accident and the third they gave him another new SIM card not even 4 hours later it is right back to no service and no calling out or texting. THIS IS NOW #4 I’m really becoming quite tired of this little game. PLEASE PROVIDE/​REPLACE WITH A QUALITY NEW PHONE THAT ISN’T A PIECE OF JUNK.

AT&T is well known for their horrible customer service on the phone or at their storefronts. This location is no exception.
Staff can be a mixed bag. Some of the staff are legitimately doing their best, but others are just standing there doing nothing. Some of the people there are pretty rude as well.
Having to explain your situation to multiple people SUCK. You explain your situation and after explaining all of this they’ll just redirect you to another person where you have to go through the process all over again. Sucks even more if you’re already in a hurry.
Staff bombard you with other offers to try to get you to their «better» plan. My family signed up for AT&T a while back when unlimited data still existed and they tried to get us off of that. No thank you.
What finally did it was that it took me over the course of a little less than an hour with my mom present (an authorized user on the account) to tell me that I wasn’t eligible for a phone upgrade until a week later. Total waste of time.
I’m not sure where else to go to if you want to get an Android phone, but if you want to get an iPhone just go to an Apple store. Did that several days later and received *much* better customer service.
