These guys are pros! Great deal on set of new tires. Honest too! They damaged a pressure sensor while replacing the tires and brought it to my attention and then had it replaced the next day. I’ll come back. Ask for Alex.

Staff is very very nice. Alex every time I swing by here for some tires for my Corolla or M3, him and his staff are always pleasant and respectful. It’s honestly not a surprise that this is a 5 star place. The owner should be proud of the staff here! I would and will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

3^rd time coming here for tire service for various reasons. Always superb customer service, always very helpful. Alex helped me out when I was in a bind and gave me a great deal on my tires. Even rearranged my tires for free when the tires they had were a little bigger than what I needed to balance out the car. Quick service, good prices. Always have a friendly staff that greet you and treat you right. They work on your car pretty fast so wait times are at a minimum even when its busy. I go here for tire patches, used tires, and new tires. Prices are reasonable but its the customer service that keeps me coming back.

Came in with a flat tire, a repairman came right up asked what I needed. Told him I needed a patch. He told me where to drive up to. Went inside to pay. $ 10 and 20 minutes later, I was out. Oh and they take card if anybody was wondering.

Here now job ain’t done but I’ve been here with no appointment for 10 minutes and my old tires are already off my truck. I read the reviews before I came, most good and like two bad lol but seems great to me being in a customer service line of work. Keep up the good work!

We moved almost 100 miles away but I still have family down here. I made it a priority to get my tires changed while visiting. Today I was on a time crunch, called ahead. They had my tires ready, I walked in and paid and they had them swapped out in no time. Prestine customer service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. These guys work their butt off but won’t hesitate to even greet my children.
We are a forever customer here.

For many year I’ve been buy my tires at big name tire shop! 4 years ago I found the best tire shop it’s a family business Hernandez family ! The staff are super friendly and very helpful hard working! Had a flat tire last Saturday went in to get the tire fix, I need new tires $ 160 on Saturday but if I waited til Monday they could order the same tire I had a $ 108 each! Tires where order instead on Wednesday very happy customer I will never buy my tires any where else! Ask for Alex he the man to talk to

This place is amazing, I had a flat on a brand new tire and they came to my rescue. I was told that the people who put on my original tire put it on incorrectly and that is why my tire cracked. I got a tire for very reasonable price and out the door within 30 mins. Alex was very helpful in choosing the the most beneficial tire and also very friendly. Good choice over Discount Tires.

I had a nail in my tire so I brought it here because I was in a hurry and I needed a quick repair. I had never been here so I was just going off the Unilocal reviews and whatever was closest to me so I didn’t lose any more air in my tire.
I brought it in, 12 minutes later the tire had been completely removed, cleaned, brushed, patched, aired, checked and reinstalled all for $ 10!!! The lady at the front was friendly and processed me quickly.
I’ll be back for sure!

If your looking to get your tires mounted and balanced DONT BE SURPRISE IF YOU GET YOUR RIMS NICKED AND SCRATCHED!!! I came here to change out my front two tires that took about an hour long. I notice they were having a hard time taking my old tire off! They eventually replaced the tire and put them back on the car and notice scratch marks all over the rim! I brought this up to the gentleman when I was paying for my service and he asked the workers if they did and he said they admitted scratching my rim. WHAT A JACK ASS FOR STILL LETTING ME PAY FOR MY SERVICE! HE DIDNT CARE WHAT HAPPEN! THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE. GOOD PRICES BUT CRAPPY WORK DONE STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED

Julio was very helpful when it came to educating me in what to look out for in my tires. He reassured me what I was paying for was something I really did need. I didn’t feel like I was being «robbed,» being that I’m just not 100% auto savvy. And based on the research I did on pricing for my Jeep, I got a good deal as well. Julio and his team ALSO repaired one of my other tires (that wasn’t originally being repaired) for free. Very friendly group of people that took care of my Jeep in a very timely manner. Highly recommended.

I have purchased many tires here for my 4 vehicles over the years and I have have always been satisfied. Alex and his team are honest, professional and offer fair prices and quality service.
They are actuall really good at fixing flats as well. There are a lot of tire shops on Main St in Chula Vista, but Hernandez Tire is the way to go.

Oh Leo! For the love of monkeys car can you please get it together?! If it’s not one thing it’s another. At least the boys at Hernandez tire always take care of me when it comes to flats or needing a new tire.
I know my tires are wearing thin so each time I go I get that side ways glance and the mandatory, «You’re going to need tires soon.» I say excuse me can you not look at me there! They think I’m crazy yet they still fix Leo up… probably want me to leave ASAP.
No matter, they are always quick and friendly. I would recommend them if you need tires. I would recommend them if you don’t…just go and leave mine paid for ;) Don’t forget to tip the guys in the pit, they work damn hard all day long and could always use some extra cash, para las sodas!

Word has gotten out that this is the best place for tires!
I grew up around this neighborhood and remember having to take my first vehicle in to get some patch work on my tires here and there. They were always very friendly and despite me being a 16 year old newbie driving girl, I never felt like I was being ripped off! Their prices were always low and I never had to spend more than 10 minutes.
Come 2015, this place has gone through a massive renovation! I had been putting off getting a new spare tire. I did not want to haggle with a parts dealer about brands and best threading. I had already experienced that at the Toyota dealership. Few months back. While on a quick visit to my old stomping grounds, I stopped by Hernandez just to see how much they would quote me. It was a Saturday and they were very busy but the gentleman at the counter kept acknowledging me and saying that he would be right with me as he tended to other guests that had been there before me. When he had cleared his work load he came up to me and introduced himself as Alex. I told him exactly what I needed and he asked a few questions regarding my vehicle and if I would like a new or used tire. He looked up what he had in stock and gave me a quote. I was in a hurry so he wrote down all the information on his business card.
I finally had the chance to come back this morning and was greeted by Alex with a smile. I handed him the card and he remembered. He quickly went inside to double check that the tire was still in stock, which it was! Although he was still busy he removed the tire and had another one of the workers replace it with the new one and install it. I was there a total of about 20 minutes from the time I parked to the moment I paid. I feel as though the workers have stayed true to the company’s philosophy of staying honest and providing quick and reliable service!

Tire literally popped on the freeway on New Years’ Day… yeah that sucked. Anyway, thank God for Hernandez Tires. Took me 30 minutes to talk to someone, have him check my tires, find a tire, replace my spare with the new tire, rotate my tires, and pay! QUICK, efficient service and the guys are super nice. They have a variety of tires to choose from… used & new. Used is cheaper (obviously) and Goodyears go for about $ 30. They didn’t have any used in my size so I settled for a new tire and not so great brand for $ 60.
