Ledezma Muffler Service #1 was founded in 1978 by brothers Mario and Oscar Ledezma. What started with a four poll free standing shack back in the days. The Ledezma family now own 2 stores in Chula Vista and a couple more from family and friends under different names.

Coming from humbling beginnings the Ledezma’s have been gifted and blessed in many ways. One of their talents can be seen in the automotive industry. From the mid ’60’s early ’70’s the family has always been involved in the automotive industry, whether it might of been welding dune buggies together or putting bigger motors on smaller cars… it has always been a natural passion.

In the late 80’s one of their biggest dreams came to a reality for the Ledezma… being able to participate in the 1986 Baja 500. Getting a ride from Mickey Thompson back in the 70’s down in Baja, awaken a bigger desire for Hector Ledezma to someday be able to be part of the famous Baja 500. In brief, the Ledezma Team became one of the most successful teams if not the most successful, in their class through the 90’s. Winning the San Felipe 250 race 6 times, The Baja 500 2 times, The Baja 1000 3 times, among other wins here in the States.

The Ledezma’s always build their own motors, transmissions, full on row cage, suspension and everything else that goes with a winning race car.
