DONOTGOHERE! This is being written by 3 people. My mom, girlfriend and I. Mom-mani/pedi, GF-shellack, myself– pedi. Mom’s experience: Lady was rough. Rosie tended to her. I overheard my Mom say owe on several occasions. Nails came out just OK. She said she’ll never return. Only plus was that the store was empty! GF’s experience: Diane was hacking my nails to remove my previous SNS application. She was extremely rough as the usual technique is to soak the nails off. Limited color selection for nails. Not happy with end color. Never asked what shape I wanted and if wanted nails cut shorter. The UV light box was humongous and had to rest one hand on top while the other hand was set below it. Poor technique and outdated equipment. Myself– thought I’d treat my two favorite ladies to being pampered. Decided to get pedicure while I waited. My toes still hurt. Cuticles bled and nails cut way too short. No spa chairs should have been my immediate clue to a bad experience. They kept trying to up sell me. Very annoying as I repeatedly replied no. My worst experience ever. I’m not hard to please. PRICES: I asked for prices before we began. I received several ambiguous numbers for each person. At the end, Rosie and Diane were discussing the prices in Vietnamese. I was given prices on the back of a magazine after some short math was calculated on it(very unprofessional). Seemed very high as this isn’t my first spa gift to my fav ladies. $ 92 was overpriced for the bad quality and poor customer experience. WILLNEVERRETURN!!!

I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACEATALL!!! Okay let me start by first saying that i called before going in because i wanted to get prices. When i called them i specifically asked for the price on a full set with glitter tips. I said glitter tips twice because i know its more expensive. The lady that answered the phone told me it would be $ 18. I was shocked that it was so cheap so again i asked with glitter tips right and she said yes. So of course i immediately went to get my full set done. I then chose the glitter that i wanted the color i chose was white glitter or at least thats what it looked like. When she was filed down the acrylics she she cute me twice. and she was going so fast that it was hurting. She notices that it hurt me at one point and she said it was because i had short nails. Ive never been cut or hurt so much while getting my nails done. at this point I’m not happy with how the nails are coming out like. Mostly because of the color i wanted WHITE not yellowish tips. before putting the final coat she asks if i want to pay now. i only took a $ 20 since she had told me on the phone it would be $ 18. I ask her how much it would be and she says $ 35. I was like what! I told her that i when i called they told me it would be $ 18 and i specifically asked for the price on glitter tip. She tells me that she didn’t hear me then. I was like well all i have is $ 20 so she took th $ 20 and i could tell she was not happy at all. Before paying she had brought out the gel top coat which was what she originally was going to place on my nails. when she saw that i didn’t have the full $ 35 she put some other top coat on and walked away. I am so unhappy with how my nails turned out they look horrible. They have bubbles on the inside, they are not even, and they are not the color i wanted or the color they said it was going to be. I will not be going back again. I guess thats what happens when they rush, they make you bleed and they leave you with horrible nails.

I personally love OPI nail polish and this place didn’t have anything except walmart brand polishes. The sign read 20 – 25 dollars for a full set but I was charged 35 dollars. When I asked about the price she said it was because she cut my cuticles and I had short nails. .seriously. I’ve never been price raised because my nails were short. Wow. She kept trying to show me my dead cuticle skin too. Gross. I just kept looking away hoping she would get the hint but nope she continued to tell me how short my nails were and how only she knew how to work on short nails so I couldn’t go anywhere else. It seemed like they hadn’t seen business in a while so I paid the 35 dollars feeling bad for them. Never coming here again. I’ll stick to somewhere more relaxing without the badgering and price changes.

Rosie did a great job on my nails! She was very very sweet and I was in and out of there in less than 40 min! I got a full set and they look really nice :) The price was even better $ 20 cant beat that!

Miss Rosie made my nails so cute :) Thank you! I was stressing trying to get my fill in before I made it home on a Payday Friday! They were DEAD when I called, and though it took her a bit — she got it! I will DEFINITELY be going back. However. $ 25 for a gel fill was kind of nuts — she went a bit into detail though cause my nails were so messed up.

The ladies are super nice, they don’t make you feel like they are talking about you while they are servicing you. And if they do have a conversation in their native language, they will let you know what they are talking about if you look like your nervous about it. Nothing fancy here, except the nails. The price is crazy low. They keep up with current trends and tried to give me the third finger bling, but I’m personally not into that and it took a minute for her to get it but she did. They do good work for the price you pay. Not the best ever but then again I only paid $ 9 for a manicure. And the lady who did my eyebrows tried to get them even, even though my eyebrows will never be even lol. Would I go there again? If I was in the neighborhood and I needed a quick mani, yes. I wouldn’t drive the 20 minutes on a regular though. If they were closer I might because I think the service would get better the more I came in… Overall nice, friendly, inexpensive, pretty good SN I did happen to get highlighter yellow for my color so the paint itself may just have been crappy :)

My mother, sister, and I have been coming here since I was in HS(I graduated in 1991). They are very thorough and as much as I’d like to go some place closer(currently reside in La Mesa) I know that they do the best pedicure, anywhere. Both my mother and I suffer from ingrown toenails and they are gentle and diligent about keeping our feet pain-free. On top of my 2 bad toes – I work in retail, so I can *not* have pain in my feet. Additionally, my mother suffers from very serious diabetes and so she can’t risk an infection in her feet(which will develop if she doesn’t keep after her ingrowns). On a personal note, the sister’s mother had diabetes so they are extra aware of the health-risks. I can’t say enough about these ladies – Most are sisters and they are amazing, hard-working and polite(you never get the feeling that they’re speaking about you like you do in some salons – they keep the chatting with each other to a minimum because I believe, they care about their patrons comfort). Also, there’s no man in there that orders anyone around and takes the money – Which is a nice change from some places. Even while living in Phoenix for a few years, I would visit home and *always* stop in here. Really, go here. The price isn’t even worth mentioning because if they were in a better area they could really charge a lot more – It’s typical, if not low for that area of Chula Vista(which is probably the lowest in the county).

My favorite nail shop since I got stationed in SD in 2005… I now reside in LA and make it a POINT to stop here first before I go anywhere else in SD. Holler.
