First time in there, l had the Thursday special, chicken tinga tostadas, they were good and well served, place nice and clean, great service!

We got the Tuesday Special which was the Grilled Tacos. We ordered through the drive thru. Damn drive thru was very narrow and then there was a Suburban backed up and blocking part of the driveway right on the curb. Probably belonged to some idiot that worked at the taco place. It took them 25 minutes for us to get the order. The tacos weren’t that good either. They where cold, the chicken was over cooked and chewy and the tortillas weren’t freshly made as some stupid reviewer put on his review. The tortillas are store bought, not hand made! We also ordered a guayaba drink, it tasted like it was spoiled. Took it back and they gave us a Jamaica drink, that one was ok.
The only pleasant thing about eating at this cheap taco place was the girl at the window. She was pleasant and charming.
Don’t know if we are coming back. Im gonna stick to El Gordo or Tacos Revolución.

The tacos are great here especially the freshly made ones with the tortillas that are hand done.
That is all I ever had there and they deserve 4 stars.
I came in the other day and ordered the menudo.
There were only a few pieces of meat in there the rest was garbanzo beans. The meat was not good at all, the beans also not good at all. Possibly the worst menudo I have ever had in my life.
If you want great menudo go to Palm Avenue in IB and go to Jalisco Café.

Love this place! Great flavor! I’m thinking best mexican drive thru in Chula vista! I’ve had the fried potato tacos, tostadas de tinga, nachos and everything has been on point!!! And I especially love this place for their 99 cent daily specials!!!

The food vs. price vs. quality. I have to say the food looked very good which helped me with the cost. Once we started eating the food we realized the quality is only in the presentation. The food tasted like an ok roach coach. We ate our food outside which we started to get over ran with flies. We looked strage looking like we had a form of spasms always smacking the air around us. Bill for 4 was around $ 40. Next time we will go somewhere where like Phil’s BBQ.
I only gave this place two stars because the kitchen and inside seating area’s were very clean. I will not be back even if the food was free.

I’ve been here a couple of times already. I don’t mind the wait because the food is so good. Fresh, tasty and cheap. the horchata and chicken is a must.

It’s all about taste and quality of food here. Not a lot of ambiance though many choose to dine in I always get it to go. You can call in an order or use the drive up window. Love the salsa and at the drive up you will miss selecting various ones from the salsa bar.
Very Friendly Joyful greetings from the staff always as well which makes it a total pleasant experience all around.
The other day when I ordered a taco I asked for a special extra amount of salsa and they said no problem. only $ 1.75 for 8 ounces of the best salsa i’ve tasted this side of the Mexico border. I need to ask them if it has some oil in it as it is so rich. I did detect herbs not normally found in red salsa and a seed of anise which is a licorice similar flavor.
WARNING!!! This salsa can be addicting!

Extremely disappointed that they haven’t fixed their service issues. Went today and waited in their drive thru lane for more than 2 minutes (keep in mind there was no one in front of me) and no one ever answered. Finally went towards the front window to make an order, figuring the drive thru speaker was broken, and there was a lady who never bothered to even turn around… Even though I could see there was no one she was talking to. You have an excellent product that is probably better than most restaurants in your area… it’s just a shame your service isn’t.

This place is a great place to go to if you want food like Tj style Homemade Tortillas DELICIOUS Salsa variety & Torta is good soft bread !

Customer service: Red flag right when we walked in the door. The guy behind the counter wouldn’t look up from his cell phone. We were ready to order, he had to finish a text message or something. Should have just walked away then for poor customer service.
Dining: It wasn’t easy to figure out were to sit after we placed our order because every table was dirty. We picked the least dirty table and I cleaned it myself. The whole dining area needs a good cleaning and a new paint job. Even the walls are dirty.
Food: The steak in the California burrito and on the carne asada fries was good. I was disappointed to find guacamole didn’t come on my California burrito.

Everything was delicious ordered through the drive-​thru fast and friendly more importantly they got my order right definitely will be going back soon Cali burrito & mulitas are a must!

This place has a drive-​thru which is awesome for a taco shop but we decided to eat inside. It is a very small restaurant with very unforgiving fluorescent lighting, so probably not the best place for first date.
We ordered one taco each of adobada, carne asada, and camaron enchilado.
I was very impressed with the variety in their salsa bar, probably one of the best in Chula. The habanero pineapple was my favorite but there are many more to choose from.
The tacos are cooked to order. In other words, there was a hard working lady back there pressing out homemade corn tortillas and putting them on the grill.
The tacos came out with a generous amount of fresh guacamole and the tortillas were so fresh tasting.
Of all the tacos we tasted, our favorite was hands down the camaron enchilados. This taco had big pieces of spicy shrimp with grilled peppers. Topped with the habanero pineapple salsa made this exceptionally tasty. and verrrrry spicy.
We will definitely return here. I like that they open early and sell breakfast tacos.

This place has replaced my favorite places to go for tacos I won’t name any names because i don’t want to take away from them but this is my new favorite spot hands down. I rated this place five stars taking into account their tortilla’s taste and size. Their salsa: a wide variety, all are delicious and spicy! They have this really good one that seems to be made from rendered fat. Their tacos are generously filled with meat and topped with all the goods. This is probably the thousandth time I’ve paid $ 2 for a taco, but the first time I don’t regret paying for it because you get more taco for your money! Their tacos are priced at $ 2 and $ 1.75. I ordered 4 tacos one carnitas, one asada, one pastor, and one adobada. all delicious. In total it came out to $ 7.55. Solid price for 4 tacos!

Eaten here many times now and mainly because of the 85 cent Monday-​Thursday specials.
The first time I tried the 85 cent grilled chicken tacos I was amazed how good they tasted and the quality of the chicken. Second and third time I ordered the grilled chicken tacos they served trashy bits of dark meat which was no where near the quality of food I received my very first visit.
Sometimes the food has been extremely greasy or a mixture of old and new meat but I love their salsa bar and the fact that they have a drive-​thru just makes it even more of an option. Careful though because wait times from the drive-​thru will take longer than expected.
I will still come back and eat food from here because it feels like a real authentic food from a Mexican kitchen.

I’ve seen they improved their speed, coming back for sure… ohhh they got .85c tacos and special every day of the week…

Quesadilla listed as.2.95 but receipt says 3.99 wtf! and a bunch of flies in the kitchen!
Update.Ok so they told me they are making corrections after they read my comments. that’s cool. i appreciate it their response. I will give them another chance.
