It was either a hamburger or sushi, we chose sushi at Yuki Sushi. Big mistake! First, they make you pay before you walk into the joint. You have to stand at the cash register tryng to decide before you can be seated. Then you get a receipt with a blank space for a «Tip»! We sat at a table. We both ordered the Bento Box. My friend opted for the Chicken Teriyaki with Mixed Tempura. I opted for the Salmon Teriyaki with Shrimp Tempura. The waiter and the female clerk started having a big fight with a lot of yelling in Japanese. It was unreal! He brought my friend a Coke instead of the hot tea ordered then asked me if I wanted the Coke. No Thanks! He brings the tea and accidentally pulls out the tea bag which drops on the table, he picks it up and is about to place it back into the cup except for the«look» he got from us, then he went to get a fresh tea bag. The fighting continued with much yelling in the kitchen then out in the customer area. The food took a long time. The salmon Teriyaki was a small piece with a lot of skin. The white rice was horrible. We never got any flatware, not even a spoon to stir the tea. The soup came at the end of the meal. No one checked to see if we needed anything else. Overall, a bad experience. This wasn’t my day! I won’t ever go back!

I stumbled upon this place a week or so ago one day by accident as I was running around doing errands. The sign is what caught my eye«All You Can Eat Sushi, 50% off all Beers». I’m there. Apparently they just opened a few months ago. As I walked in you get the Chinese buffet ambiance. They do serve a Chinese buffet, however, very limited, but that’s not what I’m here for. Bring on the Sushi, Rick is HUNGRY. I’m seated by Winny, the hostess who explains to me the all u can eat sushi goes for $ 17.99 or for $ 21.99 you can have the Chinese buffet and the Sushi. OK, I’ll take that. I grab a couple of wontons and an egg roll just to calm down ol’ Mr. Hunger. Mistake. Oh, they were good, but I really should have waited. As soon as Winny brings me the Sushi write-in menu, she recommends the Dragon Roll & the Orion Roll. As I wait for my rolls that Winny recommended, I order some salmon and shrimp nigiri.(Oh, btw, on the sushi you can either get the sashimi or nigiri all you can eat). and a bowl of edamame. She asks if I want the edamame spicy. Spicy edamame? Ok, why not. A short time later, Lily, the Chinese food cook emerges from the kitchen with a heaping bowl of edamame just slathered in Chinese chili oil, loads of sauted garlic, and a sprinkle of sea salt. I grab my first pod and WOW. What flavor. Never had edamame like this, and it has now become the way I take my edamame, thank you very much. Winny must have noticed my food orgasm as approached to ask if everything was ok. She asks me how it tastes, and I proceed to tell her its the best edamame I’ve ever had. She sits down across from me, grabs a pea pod and pops it in her mouth. She too exudes sounds of bliss. She says, «I told Lilly to make it nice and spicy for you». I don’t know about you, but I like that kind of informality. So she gets up to check on my order and promptly returns with the Dragon and Orion Rolls prepared by the sushi master Chef Kenji. OMG, these things are GYNORMOUS. Great presentation, and really really good. All in all,. Yuki Sushi is not trying to make gastronomical history here, but they do have decent food, cold beer & good service, all in very generous portions.
