I used to go to deluxe spa in national city where I followed Brenda she does great hair no doubt I made an appt with her and she was running late on a previous client and I needed to be elsewhere that night so I had another employee help his name is MIGUEL he did an ok job by anything fancy so getting to the point I always get a certain price from Brenda which is $ 25 for a haircut basic nothing fancy and so this guy decides to charge me $ 45 dollars for a haircut like I could understand if it was styled, Curled the whole 9 yards but no it was a simple hair cut I Def feel taken advantage of overcharged for an OK haircut!!! This guy is clearly in desperate need of money to rip of a client that goes there often I wan extremely upset won’t be going there again Brenda could have spoken up and said its my fault I’m late so why should you get uncharged on a haircut that I was supposed to do?! Not happy at all! Go there if you’d like to get ripped off By Miguel ! Or go elsewhere where you can get a great haircut for a descent price.

Finally the eye lashes fell out little by little in clumps of 3, 4.
Which they suppose to fall of individually. Naturally!
My natural lashes are short now!
Like embarrassing short. So sad.

Too expensive, not worth the money. I had to go back twice to get my hair descent enough to go out in public. Manager was this wannabe buff guy who was rude, unprofessional and bully towards his workers. MiguelAngel was nice but not good with color. He ruined my hair color and butchered my long hair into short inconsistent layers. I had to sit there for four hours listening to all the employees bash each other and the owners. Also listen to how many people work there without a license. Do not go here. I have to pay a total of $ 500.00 to fix my hair

I gotta admit I was extremely nervous about my hair appointment. I have been to so many places especially the smaller salons and they always manage to ruin my hair. This is the second time I have been to a nicer salon, the other was in o.c. I LOVE my hair. Miguel Angel is the bomb!!! He worked on my hair for 5 hours without making it like bubble gum (chikloso for all my Latinos out there) he did have to take a lot of length in some places but it looks great and everyone that saw it loved it. Hope my hunny is in agreement. It was pricey but u get wut u pay for and it was worth every penny. Im very excited about my next visit in a couple of months as we continue working towards my hair goal :) … I highly recommend this salon and if u go ask for to set your appointment with Miguel Angel cause he will do what you ask in the healthiest way for your hair… Just Love it… Hunny saw it he loved it :)

This is a review for Mary Jane, who I’ve followed from the Haircut Place in Plaza Bonita, to Deluxe Spa on Sweetwater Rd., and now to Studio 264 in Chula Vista. Throughout the years, I really like how she’s managed to keep me updated by mail, sending me her new business cards & even coupons for free hot-​oil treatment w/​haircut.
This was my first time at this salon. I parked right in front where there is metered parking, but I had forgotten to bring coins. I went inside to ask if she had any change & she offered to pay for my parking for me! (She even added more coins later while I was under the hair dryer; so sweet of her!) The inside of the salon is very spacious and elegantly decorated. Since I went during Christmas season, they were playing Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas album. =)
Mary Jane immediately made me feel welcome and it was fun chatting with her, just like old times. From what I remembered before, she does a great job with highlighting hair (which costs $ 120-​$ 150 depending on your hair length). She always used toner to make my hair look natural, never too light or too dramatic. My hair always came out looking the way I wanted it. During this specific visit I just got my hair dyed one color. I went ahead and used the free hot oil treatment coupon she sent me in the mail, but she convinced me to upgrade to the Shine treatment, which is essentially like the hot oil, but it makes your hair come out much more shiny & silky. (Even a month later as I’m writing this review, my hair is still noticeably shiny and soft.)
As for my haircut, I didn’t really know what style I wanted. All I told her was that I was tired of having dull, straight length hair after having grown out of the Posh Spice reverse-​bob. She wanted to do something like that again but I was over that style. She ended up giving me layers in the front and even shorter layers in the back to create more volume, and then she cut long side-​swept bangs to frame the left side of my face. I loved the final product after she had blow-​dried & styled it with a flat iron. I was ready for Vegas! :D
All in all, Mary Jane is a sweetheart. I enjoyed chatting with her & she had great suggestions to help me out with my hair. I look forward to coming back when I get a trim.
