this location is a joke. the manager demanded a I. D to pay a phone bill. I told him in the ten plus year I have been coming here i never had to show a I. D to pay a phone bill. The only time you need to show an I. D is if you change things on your account or want information on your account. He told me no i have to show him my I.D. So today i closed out five company phones i had and two phones for my family. THATS ALMOST $ 700+ A MONTH AND $ 8,400+ A YEAR YOU LOST T-​MOBILE. I THINK HIS NAME WAS IVAN I COULD BE WRONG WISH I HAD HIS NAME BUT IT WAS THE MANAGER THAT WORKED ON 2−26−16 5PM THAT DAY. AT&T IS MY NEW PROVIDER.

Everybody I’ve dealt with here has been amazing. I switched over from Verizon who has the worst customer service ever. To top it off, since I’ve switched my T-​mobile data speeds are way faster than my verizon speeds were. I get that maybe that’s not the case in all areas, but in all areas of San Diego it has been fantastic service. Not to mention the service when I’m in Mexico utilizing the north America plan service is amazing. My data is fast down there and I am able to call and text and search restaurants and use GPS in mexico as if I was still here in the US. I’ve switched many family and friends and I would highly recommend getting it here!

The wait is long but Customer Service is best every time I go in they are always very friendly. They all acknowledge you as soon as you walk in the door. I had a major issue, went in and sales rep # 9 590 804, sorry I don’t remember your name. This gentleman went above and beyond expectations l! Thank you. !!! I always come here whenever I need to buy earphones or cases and I absolutely LOVE the service of this place The store is always clean and organized. Everyone is so friendly and they always get me in and out fast with great service. Melissa and Krystal are always very helpful and nice too! Victor is very informative and Eddy always shows me cool new speakers. The manager and assistant manager are all very friendly also. It just seems like everyone that works here gives great service: D as for the more negative comments on here, I did notice that the Unilocal reviews started to change when the new manager and ASM took over the store. I’m very happy with this place and although I don’t actually have T-​Mobile service I do like the accessories here and I buy stuff here every now and then.

Cheers to the T-​Mobile staff at this location. I stopped by twice last week and was in and out within 15 minutes. I walked in knowing what plan I wanted and Melissa processed everything efficiently and with nice attitude. I signed up to have international service but it seemed like my service in general was not up and running. I had a great experience the first time so I placed my trust on the staff and stopped by a few hours before my flight for assistance. Erik Rubio welcomed me to T-​Mobile and offered assistance. I explained what was going on and he solved the problem quickly. I realized it was human error on my end but he still offered further help to make sure I know how to connect to international networks while traveling. He realized I was in panic mode and once again, like Melissa, he processed everything efficiently and with great attitude. Thank you, T-​Mobile, for employing the right staff!

We came here because we wanted to switch from sprint to t-​mobile. We did end up switching, t-​mobile bought our phones & we got new ones, It was okay customer service not the best, the rep looked frustrated and not too friendly, he also didnt explain nor told us how to do the paperwork or that we had to send in our last phone bill from sprint so t-​mobile could pay the early termination fee.

I typically hate walking into T-​Mobiles for any reason because they are always crowded and I can’t stand sales people. BUT I had a great experience at this T-​Mobile location. I needed information on upgrades, pricing, options. The sales associate. I do not remember her name, was very nice, informative & not pushy in any sort of way. I will be going back for my new S6 soon. The customer service was amazing. Thank you!

Came to upgrade my current phone. Second time around I decide to get the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge, didn’t have it in stock. That’s ok, cause they went out of their way to go to the store across the street and get it from the store that did have it in stock. What service! Only 4 stars because, this was the second time I’ve been here and they did not have what I wanted. But like I said, they went to another store to get it for me. Thank you to the staff.

Every time I go to pay my moms phone bill, terrible customer service the employees see that’s there’s people waiting and just keep their low pace. Just to pay the phone bill it’s a wait of about 40 minutes, it’s ridiculous because their not even busy. The girl that was there would take her time to check her phone like if there was no one waiting.

I went a while ago just to get more info about switching from Att to T-​Mobile and an estimate about how much it would cost to get the phones (for this the guy told me he had to check my credit score). Today I got a bill for two months worth of service and phones I never bought. Luckily the customer service rep I called fixed it for me after she saw that there was no usage at all (Duh!), but I have lost faith in T Mobile…

I’ve only had my account for 2 months and have visited this store 3 times and called customer service numerous times to try resolving issues. I switched to T-​mobile because I was tired of dealing with sprint I’m already tired of T-​mobile.

WOW, 180 service from 6 months ago, knowledgeable fast courtious, really wanting to help employees, short wait time with lots of customers, @6 months ago didn’t see this so i didn’t which then, only went back for a second chance cuz friend refered me a good deal.
super props to Eddie step by step idiot proofed everything, switching to tmobile the easiest of all switcha-​roos.

I don’t know how often people from T-​Mobile read their reviews but all I have to say to this location is that your costumer service SUCKS and even worst the manager sucks even more! He is so rude, I don’t even know how the employees from there can work with him.
My experience with this location was that I wanted to go into a family plan but at the time I was with cricket so I went to this T-​Mobile store and this one guy helps me out everything was going good UNTIL he puts in the SIM card and he says «oh your phone is not unblocked?» I have an iPhone 5 and well I did not know that it had to be unblocked, so the guy says here is your chip go to cricket to see if they can do it for you. So the next the day I went to cricket and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because I was no longer with them which is totally understandable so I go back to T-​Mobile and thank god the guy that helped me out first was not there because obviously he did not know what he was doing, they take my name and this really nice guy is now helping but he told me that my iPhone was not compatible with T-​Mobile and in that moment I was so MAD! It’s like dude then why the F^{*] didn’t the first guy tell me this before doing anything, so then the assistant manager comes and she was also nice, but tells me the same thing that my phone was not compatible and that I had to buy a new compatible phone at that moment I was literally burning, I was not going to spend money on another phone! So she tells me come back tomorrow my manager is going to be here and well it was the next day and I go back and this guy asks to take my name and I say «I am here to talk to the manager» and he says «I am the manager» so I am explaining my situation to him and he is being a smarty pants and says go to cricket and tell them that they HAVE to unblock your phone because it is illegal for them to tell you that they can’t and if they do tell you they can’t report them. And then again I was BURNING! It’s like dude it’s been a week and I have no phone all because of a person that doesn’t know what he is doing and only wants the commission! So the manager was being an ass to me and I said I don’t want to be with your company i want you to transfer my phone back to cricket and then after spending about 20 minutes with me he says «I have 9 people in front of you do you want me to put down your name» in that moment I knew that costumer service in this particular location sucks real bad!
I ended up staying with cricket, they have awesome customer service and they are real efficient!
If you read all this then I truly recommend you to NEVER go to the T-​Mobile store in the Chula Vista mall! The one in mission valley is the best ask for a guy named Alex I believe that was his name, he is an awesome guy and he helps you with your problems, not like Bryant and the manager that only talk but do nothing to help the costumer out!

Be sure to check your receipt before you leave that store I got charged a «FREE» case and screen saver but they just include it when they give you a quote for a new phone with the down payment. They just want that commission.

An employee from this location activated another line on my account without authorization, after checking my bill and calling customer service they said i was here with my ID, they will have to show the video in court.
If you don’t want to waste HOURS of your time dealing with this kind of BS just go to a real corporate store.

The worst customer service ever. And it looks like a pattern that people continue to have and they don’t fix. 30 min wait so far just to pay a bill. And 5 employees here only one working with customers.

Horrible customer service. Once you enter you have a girl yelling at you saying welcome. Its not a good yell. Way too loud and very annoying. I will never be coming here ever again!

I still love T-​Mobile but this store is not what I was expecting.
I bought a new phone and soon learned that Google NeXus phones require micro SIM cards instead of the older bigger SIM card in my old phone, so I needed a replacement micro SIM card and telephoned T-​Mobile customer service.
I spoke to a pleasant T-​Mobile agent who instructed me to visit this particular store because they would provide the micro SIM card Free of charge that I needed to activate 4G network and have my phone service back on.
Sadly, this T-​Mobile store did not live up to the great customer service that the agents over the phone are able to provide. They did not deliver the promised free micro SIM card I-​so desperately needed to get my BRAND NEW Google cellie up and running. Mind you I saved over $ 280 buying from eBay than the expensive price that T-​Mobile was charging for the same phone through their store and website. How greedy for them to be charging those high prices for New or Refurbished (whatever they felt like shipping or giving to the customer on that given day) when they are hundreds of dollars cheaper brand new on Amazon, Ebay, or Craigslist.
The little boy with the arabic tattoo on his left forearm insulted me that any previous phone conversation I previously held with T-​Mobile Customer Agent over the telephone with customer support was irrelevant by reminding me «That if I did not physically buy the phone inside their store, that I was basically DEAD TO THEM! (no paraphrasing exaggerated)!
Now I am without a cellphone for the entire weekend and upcoming workweek until Thursday or Friday when a free one is sent to me as promised on my second phone conversation with T-Mobile’s support line. The CSR I spoke with didn’t understand why they did not give me the free SIM card either.
T-​Mobile customer service inside this store failed on customer service on every level possible for actually having a physical store. This store needs to take better responsibility for the the T-​Mobile name and entity if they want to see the company thrive because treating paying customers as punks will never work out in the long run going-​concern of any corporation.
What insanely blows my mind even more is the fact that when you are talking to T-​mobile agent over the phone they would be able to find the nearest location to my zip code of 91 932, but such an easy task of that was extremely difficult and they could not find a closer location other than this crappy Chula Vista T-​Mobile store.
I searched myself when I got off the phone and found there was a T-​Mobile store in San Ysidro, CA which would have been an equally if not lesser distance to travel for me.
This poor experience and waiting 11 days for the SIM card after my second time of calling customer service hotline will not sit well with me in the future making cell phone provider plans with T-​Mobile. I have been a customer of T-​Mobile for over 10 + years when pre-​paid cellphones first appeared on the scene and never had so many problems than this incident which lasted over a week and a half.
