True Line

I had to get a wheel stud drilled out because I seized the lug nut to the stud. I made an appointment and took my car in that Saturday. They got the job done, however i had to wait about 3 hours for my car to be done. They seemed to drag their feet a little, but at least its fixed!

So I came here about a month ago to get an alignment because discount tire recommended it to me. So I made an appointment, I went there an got my car to get aligned from a young guy, at first he looked like he knew what he was doing banging something under my car, aligning it with the computer, test driving it and when he was all done he went straight to eating a bag of chips like a pig handed me the keys and I paid like $ 40, I took for a test drive and at first it was slightly straight somewhat a little better but tbh not a big difference at all then a month later my steering gradually got worse and worse with the steering wheel going to the left to drive in a straight line and it’s actually worse than when I first had it. I don’t recommend this place at all to no one for an alignment. Not sure about other repairs but yeah. You get what you pay for cheap price cheap work no quality in it what so ever, that’s my personal experience with them and that being said I will never come back to them again. I should have gone to evans tire like I anticipated in the first place.

The service here was both affordable and fast. They were professional and did a good job on my alignment.

It’s difficult to find an honest shop around San Diego. $ 69dls to align a lowered 2016 Mustang GT with 20″ wheels. No other shop would give that kind of pricing; considering it’s a lifetime warranty on the alignment. Very knowledgeable staff and eager to help.

My husband and I took our hyundai here to get an alignment and our tires rotated. Jiffy lube recommended true line. The team working were very friendly and thorough. We will definitely come back. These guys were the only shop in town who would help me with some very specific alignment specs. Having just worked on my suspension, I needed a very aggressive alignment. They were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday for a great price. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

I have a 1955 Chevy Wagon that needed an alignment, not exactly a straight forward job these days. I called the day before and Jose, the counter guy, told me to bring it in the next day. I took the car and the technician, Chris, took the car out for a test drive. Then he asked if I had any specific complaints. I told him the steering wheel wasn’t centered when driving straight down the road. He assured me that would be fixed as part of the alignment. He drove the car into the garage, fiddled around underneath the front end for a while and then took it out for a test drive. When he came back he told me the car was all set. I had just put brand new tires on the car so I wanted to make sure they weren’t ruined with a bad alignment. The off center steering wheel was fixed and the car tracked straight and true down the road.
I’m very happy with the service I received at TrueLine in Chula Vista, I definitely recommend them.

Just got it done today. Called for a same day appointment and got it done in under an hour. Its a no frills shop as advertised that specializes in alignment and brakes. Much cheaper than a tire shop when I called around and check. Thanks. I’ll be back to get my other car done.

I was referred here from Discount Tire in National City because they don’t service stanced cars. I call on a monday and they were all booked so I scheduled an appointment for the following day. I get there and informed them about the issues I was having with the car and the suspension. Jose pointed out some issues with the bushings and the control arm that needed to be fixed before getting an alignment. He even wrote me a list of things in order of their severity. Thanks Jose! I’ll definitely be back once I fix the other issues.

Haven’t been to this place since i had my lifted toyota on 44″ tires. I’m grateful to know that after all these years they are still professional, fast and cheap when it comes to working on the fleet vehicles.

Reliable Transportation

I had been needing an alignment for quite a while now, yet wanted to have brand new tires to get the best alignment possible. I went to my local Discount Tires and they gave me a card to this place… it was a little ways away. I was coming from la Mesa and they are located in National City/​Chula Vista. I arrived it looked a little busy, yet they had told me they would be able to fit me in when I called prior. The service was ok not too friendly, I guess that’s fine it’s just an alignment. It took about an hour and a half or so and they called me to advise me it was ready. Ross, Walmart, CVS is a ways down the street but you can walk there instead of just waiting. Overall ok experience, I would probably go somewhere closer from now on.

Hands down some of the best auto service professionals in The San Diego area. I was actually referred to them by Discount Tires. I should have started with these guys first! Why were they so awesome you ask?
— They scheduled a same day appointment for me to get an alignment.
— The price was much better than what the «big guys» would charge with less personal service.
— When I arrived everyone was at lunch, that on itself shows that the business cares about the well being and the health of employees and I love that!
— The fellas were so professional and thorough. They even explained to me why my car was pulling to the left and how to avoid this problem in the future.
— The service was quick with my appt net and I felt an immediate difference once I left in my car.
I honestly think the atmosphere itself is what I loved. From the time I walked up to the window, Jose was inviting and welcoming. The technician (forgot his name) immediately got to work after lunch and helped me understand what he was doing and why I had the problem.
If you need an alignment or other auto service needs this is the place to go! I did not feel that they were trying to up sale me anything, cheat me out of anything or talk me into services I did not need because I am a woman.
I will definitely be back and I am glad that I was referred to this guys this weekend!

Chris and his team really do a good job at getting cars out and done right, and driving straight as well. GREAT prices, and generally quick service. I’ve had a couple of BMWs in here before, both aligned to perfection, but four and not five stars due to a snafu with my wife’s Explorer. They made it right, but I did have to go back. Make sure to call for an appointment– These guys are packed every Saturday. The techs themselves are very capable, and although the shop can be a bit dirty looking, they’re still the real deal, and do good work on cars– Recommended.

Was referred by the discount tire in national city. Won’t go back to that place but I will be back to true line and have already referred a few people.

True line not only aligned my car but also pointed out that it would continue to pull to the right due to the fact that discount tire should have suggested I change all of my tires not just the 2.
Only weird part is the guy in the office jokes a little too much…

Ok, let’s be real — I know nothing about cars other than drive. I came here by recommendation from Discount Tires on Plaza Blvd to get my alignment done. The gentleman at the counter could tell I knew nothing about cars. His name was Jose. Given that, he was very kind and patient to explain and even demonstrate what was going on with my car. Most car shops would just do the labor and had you a big receipt. But Jose was very informative, smart, and polite. He broke down in terms I can understand (no car talk haha) what was going on, how it was affecting my drive,
the breakdown of parts, price, and labor. I thought that was exceptional service. I will definitely be coming back here again.
