Fuck this place and there rules of not having a restroom for people in need of them. I asked 4 people if I could use the bathroom since I have a condition and they where all playing stupid and I looked like a desperate idiot waiting for a manager o tell me no. I know for sure that other people have used it including my mother and for them to tell me to go to jack in the box was fucking rude. They saw me almost pissing myself and they did not give a rats ass. Fuck these people that work here. I hope they never get a bladder condition. Bunch of bitches.

Went to UCPTS and donated $ 250 worth of clothing (garage sale rates)
Went inside and bought a dress for halloween for my wife. Turns out it was a costume after all or that was the explanation I was given for not being eligible for my military discount. So, I paid full pop, $ 24.99 and took it home. My wife thought it was perfect but when she unfolded it found a tear approximately 7″ long. I took it back to the store as her costume motiff was «catrina, dia de los muertos» not «hobo». CP refused stating that all sales were final — it is always in the fine print! I pointed out thta although they are donations they do have an obligation to sell serviceable items, especially for special items like halloween costumes. They said my favorite thing «unfortunately, we are unable to do anything about it» Long story short — reversed charges at my bank and bid them farewell. Nothing but amvets for me now.

LOVE THIS THRIFT STORE. Most thrift stores it seems like if you really take the time to look, you can find some hidden gems. Everything is so well laid out here that you don’t need to put aside an hour or two for searching. The layout is well organized and if you want a sweater you can look through two aisles and all the clothing is organized by color with patterns at the end. They have tons of women’s sweaters, t-​shirts, tank tops, pants, skirts, AND ACCESSORIES. I always have a hard time finding lots of accessories at thrift stores. Even if they don’t have the greatest selection, I enjoy having the luxury of at least looking through jewelry, scarfs, and bags.
They have various discounts whether it’s the tags on the clothing or if you are a student, senior, or military. The daily discount for student, senior, and military is 20% and on Tuesdays military receive 50%.
I was in search of some cute sweaters for this upcoming winter season and found 4 that I fell in love with — which is 4 more than I found at any of the 5 thrift stores I went to this weekend in North Park/​Hillcrest area. I wish I had taken some pictures of the clothing items I purchased.
I also found three heavy-​duty glass vases for my makeup brushes that were only $ 0.69.
My boyfriend purchased an antique liquor bottle, a pair of pants, and we found the cutest coffee table in GREAT condition.
Four sweaters, one pair of pants, three glass vases, an antique liquor bottle, and a coffee table for $ 31!!! That’s including tax, you really can’t beat that. Everything we got was in good condition. I checked my sweaters and none of them had tears or stains. The coffee table was $ 12.99, real wood, super heavy. Furniture at Salvation Army isn’t even this cheap. PLUS, we received a discount on top of that. Seriously, it was a STEAL. I couldn’t believe everything was so cheap.
Like majority of thrift stores, it is a little dusty in here, I feel like you can feel it on the clothes and there is no AC.
I can’t wait to come back! I’m headed to the United Cerebral Palsy Thrift Store in City Heights today after work.
The other great thing is that you’re shopping and supporting a good cause! The people who work there are also very nice. :)
Other than it being a bit dusty, the store was clean.

This is one of the few thrift stores that I always go back to. There is free parking on the side of their building. There are 3 fitting rooms (one handicap) but no restrooms. They offer military, senior and student discounts plus the additional discount they have for the day! The store has a variety of items and is split into different sections (mens, women’s, toys, furniture, books, appliances). The store is clean and the racks are not jammed with hangers, women’s clothing is divided by dresses, skirts, tank tops, intimates, pants, shoes and jackets etc.
If there is no tag on the item, sadly they will not sell it to you. They do have a lot of brand name items and are priced at a cheap price! I have bought things from Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, Loft and Brandy Melville! Whatever season it is they seem to price it a lot more than when things are not in season. For example, whenever it is fall/​winter they price their jackets and hoodies a little more. Halloween time is when it gets busy and they boost the prices because everyone tends to shop there.
The employees are helpful but sometimes are unable to help with transactions, I have had experiences with the manager and she was unable to give me the discount but other times employees have given me the discount.

This thrift store is well organized and has some amazing items from clothing to collectibles. They have free parking, that is sometimes hard to grab. 2 regular dressing rooms and one for disabled only. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer student and military discounts. Clean and pretty big for a SD area thrift store. They would get 5 stars if there was more parking and the clothing were sorted by size and not just color.

This place is right across from another thrift store and clearly have the same owners. This place smells! and again with the sales that have dates on the tags that you have to count ten days out in order for it to be on sale. Just put the price on the darn thing and call it a day! Too much thinking for a thrift store. I will not be returning

You can find so many cool things at a thrift store. I love just looking around at all the junk people donate. :)

I actually really love this thrift shop. I can’t believe today was my first time going here!
Every section is labeled as «Women’s Shirts/​Pants/​Dresses.» There is your usual set of regular retro clothing finds while the store also integrated Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and clothes that are very similar to their styles. I was impressed with finding brands like Silence & Noise and BDG. What a steal! All clothes have colored tags attached to them that have a price written on them. The color on those tags correspond to a chart that dictates whether that item is 75% off, 50% off, 20% off (and so on), or whether there is no discount. New items are red tags and are not discounted. However, there are specific days that have student, military and senior discounts. Today (Tuesday) was 50% military on top of their everyday deals. Discounts upon discounts at a thrift store?! I was in heaven.
I bought Silence & Noise red high-​waisted pants that I’m going to turn into shorts, stud, and distress and a flowy black top for under $ 5! My brother also bought a shirt for 53 cents. He was in shock (in a good way)!
Highly recommended thrift store and my favorite in the Chula Vista area.

I came here this morning because it’s right down the road from where I work. I usually go to Amvets in Downtown, but decided to check this place out. The store layout is okay and it was somewhat organized. For me to like a thrift store I have to like the prices, the environment and the employees. The prices on a lot of the clothing were ridiculous. I could find brand new things and better looking clothing at Ross or DD’s Discounts. I tried to give this place a chance and look around at other things, but what turned me off and made me leave the store immediately was an employee
was a Hispanic female with curly shoulder length hair putting away clothing. I was so disgusted when I was standing looking at women’s shirts and she tried to pass by me and DID NOT HAVE THE AUDACITY TO SAY EXCUSE ME. I had to say excuse me for her and just by that I walked right out. I am extremely big on customer service and this store clearly failed at that… along with the crazy prices that aren’t even worth the price or your time. I’ll stick with Amvets. I know that someone will greet me there upon arriving and the prices are great!

I come here with my cousins and my sister because one of my cousins always gets name brand stuff here for super cheap!
I’m not very impressed with their selection because it seemed like I always come on an off day (clothes-​wise; since I am a large Marge), but I will admit that their jewelry collection is pretty sweet! I’ve gotten a lot of new stuff here, tags still attached and everything, for no more than $ 10! I think I’m head over heels in love with their purse selection!
Most of their name brand and more enticing items are behind their counter. And it doesn’t hurt that this is the only thrift store I’ve ever been to that doesn’t make me sneeze like crazy!
This place is still a must-​go whenever I’m in San Diego!

This store is nicely laid out. Not too clausto and prices are clearly marked. Easy to find parking and the staff are really nice and friendly. Isles are not too narrow and they don’t have crap everywhere like some stores that you can barely make it down an isle without running into someone.
Decent hours. I think they’re open until like 8:00 PM on weeknights.

This place had pretty much everything that I look for in a thrift store:
— Unique pieces such as retro & costume clothing, as well as the usual stinky stained thrower-​outers/​fixer-​uppers.
— Sale tags everyday, organized by color. I get so turned off when shopping at the thrift stores that do not tag their items by color/​date and then discount by date. For example, the majority of the Goodwill’s in So Cal carry THE SAME crummy merchandise for way too long when it should be discounted to move it!
— Room to move around.
— Lots of household & craft gadgets to comb through. My husband would be embarrassed to see me admit this, but I am a thrift box diver! I will pull everything out if I have the time and the gumption.
— Easy, convenient parking & great hours.
I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

You know when you find something really, really good at a thrift store and want to jump up and down in celebration but don’t want the authorities to figure out that they priced that article totally wrong?
That was me, yesterday.
This store is a veritable treasure trove of pre-​owned goodness. Yes, they have tons of department store cast-​offs that are clogging the rounders but in and amidst this clutter are riches that clothing stalkers only dream about.
I didn’t even check out the rest of the store since the clothing and shoes had me hypnotized.
They also have the «pink tags are 50% and blue are 20%» deals as if the selection and low prices weren’t enough.
I fear an addiction coming on.

This thrift store is always good for a random find. I’ve had luck with housewares (glasses, vases, etc), clothing, and games. There is sometimes a pretty random selection of art, too.
I rate this shop 4 stars because their prices are not out of control. If you want to save money, shop here and avoid Veterans down the street. That being said, the furniture selection here can be rather scant.
