Masters Larry and Leslie are phenomenal instructors. My two children and husband have been going there for eight years (all black belts now). Leslie works magic with little kids– my son started at 4 and my daughter at 6. Other studios will give (and I do mean give) black belts out sooner, but at this studio they will provide a very strong foundation and by the time a black belt is awarded it has been EARNED. The earlier review about someone being taken advantage of monetarily is hard to imagine. Yes this is a business, but Leslie and Larry are passionate about sharing their knowledge of martial arts and after being involved with that studio for eight years believe they are among the least likely business owners I know to do anything disreputable. Many of the families at this studio have been there longer than us. What does that say about the quality of instruction? If you are looking for the highest quality martial arts education for a reasonable price in a no-​frills studio with trust-​worthy instructors this place is worth checking out.

Avoid this place. My two sons went here for many years. My oldest son earned his black belt. After doing so he decided to quit the studio to pursue his high school sports career. Master Larry requires your monthly fees be automatically drawn from your bank account. We gave a written notice to master Larry that we no longer wished to continue with the studio and that our bank account is no longer to be drawn from for monthly fees. We also notified our bank. Master Larry continued to bill us for services we never used for an additional three months. He has also sent a negative credit rating against us for money that is not even owed. This seems to be the norm for him as others claim to have the same problem with master larry and his studio.
