CCAC’s mission is to strengthen the critical link between participation in the cultural arts and successful, healthy children, adults and communities. We offer classes, exhibits and events to inspire, engage and connect the community.
History
Established in 2008.
In June 2004, the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) was incorporated as a non-profit by a group of proactive, dedicated citizens who recognized the rare and remarkable opportunity to enhance the quality of life in Uptown Cincinnati by renovating two vacant historic buildings — the 4,400 sq. ft. Carriage House designed in the 1880s by Samuel Hannaford and the 53,000 sq. ft. Beaux Arts Clifton School building built in 1906 — for continued civic use as a 57,000 sq. ft. Cultural Arts Center. Situated next to the City of Cincinnati’s Clifton Recreation Center and Cincinnati Public School’s new $ 13 million, 85,000 sq. ft. Fairview-Clifton German Language School, CCAC anchors a 9-acre urban community arts and learning center campus in the heart of Uptown. Since opening our doors in September of 2008, over 90,000 people have visited CCAC to enjoy an exhibit, class or event.
