Loved the staff — service was great. The musical act was incredible. The seats are comfortable, but because they were high backed, it was hard to see over them. In addition, all the seats were on the same level. If the floors were gradated, that also might have helped. Lastly, the of a clearly outlined cell phone policy meant that watching the concert was often impossible(unless you wanted to watch via the phone screen ahead of you). While the seating might be too cost prohibitive to change, a cell phone policy could be implemented immediately. I hope they consider it. It’s a shame for such a unique venue to be spoiled by such pesky issues.

We showed up early for dinner, right after they opened. The service was friendly and accommodating. My friend’s and I shared a bottle of wine, and then each had a Caesar salad, entrée, and dessert. The Ceasar salad was served as giant, uncut leaves that were difficult to eat. My friend and I both had the pork, which was tough and difficult to cut. For dessert, I ordered the bread pudding, which was the best part of the meal. For three, the bill came to around $ 180(the wine was $ 30 for the bottle). The décor was pretty cool, the staff was friendly, but the food fell short. I would try it again, although the price was a little high for the quality of food. Not bad.

This place used to be Olives. Has only been open 3 weeks. They have musical groups in the basement. Came here after going to Esquire movie theatre. They have tapas, salads, flatbreads and a few main dishes. Sides are ala carte. They had steak, lamb shank, fish of the day and a few other entrees. Had an awesome caesar salad and«American» flatbread. My wife had the greek flatbread. Both excellent. Cheese and fruit tapas was decent with brie and other cheeses.

Food is good, but I wish they offerred a burger. Cocktails named after past performers would be fun too. I realize LIVE! has only been opened a month, but i was kind of hoping to see some Rock n Roll Memorabelia or 60s and 70s Pop Culture stuff in there and on the walls. Thisreastaurantand little bar upstairs from the perfomance basement has the potential to be really, really fun like an independant, local Hard Rock. It wiil interesting to watch this place evolve. Go check it put if you have not. Many music artists booked.

I went for dinner last night with a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised. We’re both vegetarians and we ordered the vegan pasta dish and the vegan flatbread. Both dishes were incredible, especially the flatbread, which was perfectly crispy and very savory and flavorful. For dessert we got the vegan option, which was a really creamy berry crème brûlée. All of the food was fantastic, and I’ll absolutely be going again. While the food was perfect, service was a little slow for the crowd being pretty moderate. While the food came out in a timely fashion, it took us awhile to get our check and even longer to get our check back. Also, instead of having the silverware with them when they brought out the food, they had to run and get it from the back. Our server was pretty nice though, so it didn’t really overshadow the experience.

Came for dinner(not a show). A lot of room for improvement. I would have given this place a 2 star but it has only been open a week(according to the waiter, maybe that is the case for dinner). I will come back sometime after they get settled but for now, this is my review. The service was very friendly though lacked some basics. We had out menus on the table the entire time we ate and even after finishing and staying to chat. For such a small table, it made things somewhat awkward. We also had to place our food order well after drinks. The waiter never came back until dropping the drinks. Considering there was only one other party of 2, this was a bit excessive. I think the server might have been new. I ordered a glass of wine($ 7 for Château St Michelle Reisling is really high) and the Greek flatbread. Considering the brick oven I saw pictures of, I was excited about the pizza. However, mine was a flop. The dough was not cooked very long and soggy in the middle, possibly because of the tomatoes. My friend got the Italian flatbread and it was very savory! I wished I had ordered that! The other entrees were too expensive for an unknown place. Next time? Give it some time.

Don’t recall Ludlow Garage, but Livingston is better on stage than James. This is a great venue; a miniature Memorial Hall.
