These folks are the definition of CUSTOMERSERVICE! John and his team are always prompt and friendly. John makes a point to remember your name and gives the personal touch of caring out your laundry to the car whenever possible. His mom sits in the corner with a big bright smile while she makes the repairs and alterations we have dropped off. He greets all his young customers with a choice of a lollipop and will make every effort to accommodate your time constraints. I have been a loyal customer for about 2 years and will continue to be one for many years to come…

Love walking into the cleaners and hearing his mom yell«JOOHHHNNN!» Great place and great people. Listen, this is a cleaners that does great work that is in the middle of Sunnyside. YES, their pricing is going to be high, but you will also get a high quality return. If you are concerned with the best deal, don’t waste your time. If you want great service with great quality and don’t mind paying for it, this is a great place to go. My kids love going there and they always have to see the kids. If you call and want to negotiate pricing and are a hassle from the beginning, of course he is going to tell you to take your business elsewhere. Time is valuable and he has more work than he can shake a stick at so why try to take on business from a customer who is whining from the start? Its a recipe for failure and those types of customers are never happy.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in town. They are amazing! My clothes always look like I just bought them. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is very high quality… Did I mention his mother is as good as seamstresses get! Whether it’s altering an evening gown, hemming my jeans or patching up my workout pants she is amazing! If you want someone to take extra care of your clothes and give the extra attention this is the place!!!

Always kind and courteous, these are a wonderful neighborhood cleaners. They provide good value for the money and do quality work. Everything we leave to have cleaned is returned in great condition and in a reasonable time. The owner is so nice and the service so good that I believe any negative reviews say more about the reviewer than this business. I believe reasonable people will agree. Hope to be giving them my business for many years to come!

I literally just got off the phone with one of the associates and politely asked if he could sew two inches of my T-shirt sleeve that was coming un done. Easy stuff. He said, «I can’t guarantee anything, if another business is telling you they can fix it, you can go there». I’m shocked.

Wanted to have a cotton dress hemmed and he said it would be more than I wanted to pay to have a «cheap» dress hemmed. I asked for a price and he said $ 30! I told him the place I usually go to only charges me $ 10, he said good for you, take it there. They were extremely rude and acted like they didn’t want my business. I will never go back.

Here are a few reasons explaining my 5 star rating: John and his mom are more than friendly — they make you feel like family, they know you and your children’s name after the first drop off, John knows if you dropped off clothes and how many articles without even looking at the slip, John walks the clothes to your car which is great for me when I have my three year old son, he gives a sucker to the children after receiving parent approval, the clothes are perfectly cleaned and pressed, John’s mom has altered several pairs of jeans and slacks and they all turned out perfect.

Are you kidding. John and his Mother(Alterations) are the absolute last great dry cleaners on earth. Old country the best best service and perfection in dry cleaning and alterations. If someone gets offended easily they do not understand the Old Country direct way of expression. I am a lucky man and enjoy each and every visit to this shop and you will too. Best cleaner in town! I am nothing but pleased when I return to pickup my clothing. All stains have been removed, pressed and looking new! I have brought in many items where I was very pessimistic that the stains would come out but John(the owner) is a miracle worker! Although I do have to say, there have been a few times that they were not able to remove a stain. If so, they were kind enough to tag the item that they were unsuccessful and if they were to try anymore, there was the possibility of ruining the item. A dry-cleaner isn’t god or a miracle worker so keep that in mind…

Extremely unprofessional, RUDE, and angry! I took 12 items to be dry cleaned. When I came to pick up and I analyzed them, one of the t shirts was stained, faded and the writing in it looked awful! When I said that it looked worse than when I dropped it off and that I didn’t want to pay for the ruined shirt, the man preceded to belittle me and tell me to take it back to where I purchased it from. He said they should not have labeled it ‘dry clean’. He then continued to say, «I work harder than you or anyone, I work 12 hour days, 7 days a week, I don’t need your business!!’ I was flabbergasted because I had been very kind and reasonable. My bill was almost $ 100. He roughly shoved a pamphlet about dry cleaning at me and told me that I was unwanted. Wow! Save yourself the verbal abuse and ruined clothes!
