Luxury Nails

Really recommend this place! Came in for shellac and Debbie really spent the time to help me find the right color since I couldn’t decide that day! She was very patient and thorough. The only complaint is the atmosphere. You walk in and not much décor but a lot of clutter. No matter, love my nails! Week later and they still look like I got them done yesterday.

I went in only knowing I wanted fake nails. I wasn’t sure on type (acrylic v. gel) or color or length or shape. Lily guided me to a gorgeous sparkly pewter shellac color and some gel nails. A little bit of curve makes my fingers look longer too!
Lily was great — and I love the lotion used after my nails were done. I’ll be going back for a pedicure soon!

I didn’t have time to go to my regular nail salon so I searched Unilocal and found Luxury Nails. Maybe I’m spoiled by Queen Bee in Farmington Hills with chandeliers and sparkling floors but this place was a bit of a letdown.
It’s like a nail salon, the hoarder’s edition. There is just too much going on. I’m not sure if they don’t have any storage space in the back but there are cleaning supplies strewn about. There are cases of beverages underneath the seats in the waiting area. It’s also a very narrow space inside so there’s not much room for the nail techs to work. When I walked over to the mani station from the pedi station (in my disposable flip flops), I got a piece of hair and dirt on my foot which really grossed me out. I think they need to clean better in there. The tools were all sterilized in packages so that was good but the overall clutter and subpar cleaning turned me off. It is also horrendously noisy because they have TVs on and it’s a small space, as I mentioned. Now you have people talking, sometimes yelling, the equipment whirring, it’s not a relaxing experience by any means.
The lady who did my mani and pedi was really nice. She did a good job and was thorough. I have no complaints about her skill. They have so many colors to choose from so that’s another positive. The also have professional grade nail dryers so no need to worry about smudging.
So overall, it was okay. I would come back if I was in a pinch again.

Love love love luxury nails !!! Every time I am in Michigan it’s def my go to nail place !! The staff is super friendly, conversational and most importantly all do a great job ! The refreshments and customer service are amazing… And Peter and Anthony are my fave. Lily is a sweetheart too, and will always be the one to probably take your appointment and greet you. There is a Huge nail polish selection in opi, china glaze and essie and plenty of gel /​shellac polishes to pick from too. Nothing old or outdated, and if they mess up or you mess up a nail, they always fix it without making you feel bad or complaining. Nails down — my favorite nail place in Michigan

Best place to get your nails done. I’ve only gotten pedicures, but it’s my go-​to place. It’s always hoppin’ here (proof of their popularity) yet there’s never a long wait. Their polish selection is massive (be sure to also check the smaller table for regular polishes and not just the main wall). I’ve been here with both larger groups and smaller ones and they’ve always been accommodating.
They’re hit or miss with asking you for a beverage so just speak up if they don’t offer it to you!

My go to quick nail spot. Perfect ever time! I go on the weekends and I’ve never had to wait, they’re always staffed. Nail polish selection is really good, and they’re sanitary. Love that I found this place!

I came to Luxury Nails on a whim. I decided today that I needed to get a shellac/​gel manicure again. I was very happy with the fact that they listened to me when I told them I did not want my nails filed or touched in anyway. I simply wanted a very good gel polish. She listened to me and she did a great job. It looks awesome. I will be coming back!
Made it back again after trying a couple other places over the last 2 months. My nails look perfect again and much better than any other shellac I’ve gotten at other places. I’m not going anywhere else! This is my new and only nail salon!

My girl, Vivian, brings her A-​game at Luxury Nails. My nails looked great when she did them. My cuticles and polish were immaculate — I got the Shellac mani & regular pedi. Highly recommend her and Luxury Nails.

Love this place! It is best to call and make an appointment as they are always busy! Staff is friendly and attentive. Good selection of colors and brands as well.

So, I’m new to the area and had to do a fair amount of research to get my nails done. Noticing salons around my home and my boyfriend’s job area, I decided to trust my fellow Unilocalers. I did a search for local salons to me, and then I got on the phone. I started calling placed that were rated and revised well. Trouble I found was, that the majority of them didn’t do acrylic nails.
I haven’t had acrylics in quite a while but sometimes when you’ve gone through one of the seven levels of hell (ya know, moving #amiright) and a girl’s hands are looking rough, she needs a bit of pretty.
Finally, I found Luxury Nails! They had plenty of services that included acrylic nails as well as gel shellac, and of course manis and pedis.
My technician, Peter, was fantastic! We talked about things to do in my new area and he had even visited my hometown! Oh! And he did a great job on my nails. I’m a bit particular and he assured me that my requests weren’t me being too pushy but rather me seeing and feeling my nails differently than he did. Sweet!
I even enjoyed talking to another customer who confirmed that this is THE nail spot! One more thing I can check off the «have to find one of these in my new town» list!
PS. Make an appointment as they can get busy and help yourself to the mini fridge or coffee!

I love this nail salon! I’ve been at least 10x in the past year and every experience is better than the last. They treat you very well, take their time, remember your face and stories and truly appreciate your business. What I love is that the techs really enjoy their job and respect each other. Never seen that at a nail salon… Prices are great and I’ve never had a bad shellac or pedi. Keep bein you!

I’ve found my go to place for nails in the Clawson area! I’ve been here twice so far and have been very happy both times. The nail salon is at the end of a little strip of stores. It’s a little on the small side but is always clean and the technicians are always friendly.
This last time I was there it was me and a friend. I had made us appointments so we could be seen at the same time. They were on time with the appointments, which was appreciated. They take their time and make sure you are happy with what they’re doing. I got a full set, and my tech stopped a few times to make sure I was happy with the length and shape of the nails.
I don’t get my nails done too often, but I know that their prices are competitive! My full set was $ 25 and my friends regular manicure was $ 13! Both of us were extremely happy with the service and with our results. Anytime I need my nails done, I’ll be coming here!

I’ve even a few times and have had mostly positive experiences. This last visit was a little disappointing though. The guy who did my manicure/​pedicure was rough with the cuticle pusher and he cut my middle toe because he pushed too hard. He then filed my nails (which I’ve been trying to grow out) to the tips of my fingers and did them in a square shape without asking me if I wanted round or square. I did tell him and he did fix it, but he seemed a little put out by my asking. The filing my nails super short part was more annoying than anything, because I know they’ll grow back out. Cutting my toe though was kind of inexcusable.
I’ll probably go back again because the prices are too good to beat, however I will probably ask that someone else do my nails.
Like I said, I’ve had mostly positive experiences, but not always super consistent. Hopefully next time will be better. If it isn’t I may have to find a new place to go.

I have tried several nail salons around LA and East Michigan and with no doubt this place is the best.
The interior looks like your typical Asian nail salon, but the quality of service they provide is top notch.
The place looks small from the outside but has a good number of seats. Appointments should be recommended especially when you have someone in mind, but walk-​ins also appear to work well with not too much waiting. They have a huge selection of a Shellac and its a joy to go through all the options.
I’m not sure why, but my nails last much longer, both Shellac and regular, when it’s done here. I assume it’s because the work is down flawlessly or/​and they use good product.
The price range is also another reason I adore this place as I don’t like spending too much on my nails especially when it’s done every other week.

I just want to mention I never write reviews, but I had to for this place! I’ve gotten my nails done at tons of different salons in the surrounding area, from dives to high end salons. I have to say this is one of the best nail salons I’ve been to! I was really late for my Shellac/​pedicure appointment and they were really accommodating. Pedicure turned out really pretty, but my shellac is the best I’ve ever gotten done! I had Vivian, and she really did a detailed job in a short amount of time. I would recommend this place to any one of my friends and family!

I’ve been a client of Luxury Nails for almost a year now since I’ve moved back to Michigan and am a very loyal and pleased customer!
I was never your ‘nail salon’ girl who always keeps up a mani-​pedi, but Luxury Nails changed that! I’m there every 2 weeks for my regular shellac mani (so many options – easy to get overwhelmed… but they are so nice they will even help you pick a color if you can’t decide).
I think what sets Luxury Nails apart from other nail salons is their exceptional customer service. They greet you with a smile, remember your name (a lot of customers are long time regulars), have movies playing, offer you free beverages, will fix your chipped or broken nail for no charge, and have reasonable prices.
I cannot recommend Luxury Nails enough. Go… now!

Best quality manicure I’ve ever had!
It’s you typical Asian nail salon by appearance, but they were a notch above the rest, in their quality of work & attention to detail!

My lady wanted me to go get my ‘nails did’ for Easter. Things were supposed to be all fine and dandy with us getting some time off of work, however her work schedule didn’t allow her to take the day off today.
We had already made an appt… and I sucked it up and just went for it.
I walked into a nail salon… of all girls. I felt completely out of place, however… there was nothing much I coudl do about it.
They asked if I had an appt. which we had… and they got right to it.
And yes ladies, I’ll admit, I did not know that there was that much nastiness on the bottoms of our feet. I also didn’t know that cheese graders were allowed to be apart of the arsenal to take care of the feet.
But throughout the entire experience, I will have to say that the technician that was doing my nails did a fantastic job (what do I really have to compare them to?) and was very friendly with me… And I can also say that the massage chairs for the manicure were great. I could go for one of those. :)
But even for being a guy, and walking into a completely outnumbered situation… I still had a good time, and it was an enjoyable experience.
