We went in for a late evening treat. It took us 3 a couple minutes to decide. When I was just about to order, I saw the girl that was working grab a sample spoon and scooped up some ice cream between the spoon and her finger. I thought, «Cool, she’s gonna let us try something.» Nope. She popped it right in her mouth. I was seriously shocked. She did it right in front of us as we were about to order! I wanted to leave, but my parents didn’t see it and I didn’t want to have to explain. The price was a little steep for the ice cream scoops, but decent for the shakes. While the selection was good, we won’t be back.

Three stars because the ice cream was ok, but the service left me feeling ick. The guy had no social skills and did not practise good hygiene — handling the scoops, cones and money without washing hands. They were also out of cherries which is a major crime in my five year old’s eyes. I wouldn’t go back.

Everything was great! Staff, atmosphere, and Ice cream. I loved their waffle cone with salted caramel peanut. My step daughter finished her huge bowl of cotton candy. I would recommend this place to all families in clear water.

Ice cream & service were great!!! The salted caramel was delicious and old time atmosphere. Friendly staff. We will definitely visit on our next trip. Was amazed that they didn’t have great Unilocal reviews.

I enjoyed my $ 3 shake made with soft serve and dispensed expresso flavor. They also have some good ice cream flavors. The décor is pretty nice and I like the related clothing shop next door.

We ordered a snickerlicious shake. It was thick and creamy just as a shake should be. It seemed odd to me that a shake was cheaper than a scoop of ice cream. Good service. Nice night to eat outside.

We went to the location on the corner of Hamden and Gulfview a full hour prior to closing time. We were the only customers there and it was possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. Young man working acted extremely bored and put out that he had to serve us. He didn’t say one word to us that he didn’t have to… not a «hello», «can I help you?»…not even a smile. I asked to sample a flavor to which he dully replied«we are out of tasting spoons» when there was a full tub of regular spoons sitting on the counter he could’ve used. I didn’t even get ice cream because he was so rude. My family all got shakes and said they were awful. Horrible experience. I’ve never given lower than a 3 star review and I am only giving this place 1 star because Unilocal made me.

It’s hard to decide between the million ice cream shops that line the street but we thought we’d give this place a shot and we’re happy we did. The young guy working was very friendly and let my kids sample anything that wanted. The ice cream was very flavorful and is handmade in small batches in Florida-all 36 flavors. The scoop sizes are massive so well worth the price.

What a fun little place. The 1 girl working behind the counter was very friendly! = 1 star. The price was great. Who isn’t sick of being gouged on everything. What a concept, a fair price! = 2 stars! The shop is very cool. I’m partial to a place with character. With all the stone, wood paneling, and bar seats I would be right at home having a beer or ice cream in this place. = 3 stars. Great homemade ice cream = 4 stars. Great experience overall = 5 stars

The milkshakes were horrible. We bought 3 different flavored milkshakes and they all tastes the same and slightly freezer burned. The ice cream was good. The young ladies working were less than happy to be working but there was a huge line.

Ice cream was great but the service was awful. They were not even busy yet both employees were rude and both seemed to hate being there.

So disappointed by the staff that works there. We went twice and both the guy and the girl that was there the next day were rude. Will never go again. Shame bc the icecream was actually good.

Good little place in Clearwater, stopped and got some tasty ice cream. Not bad prices one very nice young girl working. Will probably stop by if I’m around that area again.

Overpriced slop! There was only one person working tonight and the line was quite extensive. The ice cream was less than satisfactory. It tasted as if it had melted and been refrozen a few times. They charge $.49 for a cake cone or a sugar cone on top of the already overpriced $ 3.50 per scoop.

The first star is because their ice cream is good. The second star is for the young man who I applaud for allowing us to come in after his co-worker turned us down. When you advertise online that you close at 11, and we show up at 10:25, you turn people down? HANDSDOWNWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE. The girl was waving her arms across her neck saying we are closed. I opened the door and I said it is only 10:25? She had the worst attitude I have ever experienced, not to mention dressed completely inappropriate for work. I don’t really care if you want to go out and it’s a Saturday night. She then yelled at her co-worker in front of us, and clearly had no respect for her work place. What kind of place is this? Clearly you do not care about customer service. This isn’t the first time someone’s given us an attitude at this place. Geeze, at least treat your regulars properly! Locals are the ones who tell people where to go. i will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. There are PLENTY of places on Clearwater beach with ice cream, gelato, and many other desserts with excellent customer service. I tried to call management twice but they can’t seem to answer a phone either. Very disappointed because this was one of my favorite places to go due to its charm. I wonder where management is to step in and realize some of the people they are hiring are down right disrespectful and dress like they are going to a club, not an ice cream shop where there are families. It used to be great but now I am very displeased. **This is the location on the south side of the beach, not north.

Do not get the soft serve/blended blizzard option, ice cream tasted freezer burned. The scooped ice cream is much better.

We ran to the ice cream shop right before closing and were turned down by the girl working there. She just started putting the lids on a couple of the ice creams and rudely turned us down even though we made it there right before closing. They might have the best ice cream in the world but we’ll never know.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here the other day because we were craving some ice cream on a hot day. They have really good ice cream and flavors you don’t really see at other places. Prices are very reasonable and the scoops are pretty big. The only downfall about this place is that there weren’t ANYNAPKINS!!! Please make sure they are out and ready to use. They will be needed
