Business Owner

Color expert Trisha McBride Ferguson is an interior decorator and owner of Idea Garden Interiors. With more than 17 years of professional design experience, she is dedicated to helping clients create their dream homes.

A graduate of UNC-​Greensboro, Trisha has trained in interior design through the American Society of Interior Design (ASID)-approved Rhodec University program based in London. Her experience includes both residential and commercial projects. She is also an artist, seamstress and multimedia designer.

Color for Your Home TM

In addition to her fine art and interior design training, Trisha is a certified ‘Color for Your Home’ consultant. Her color recommendations are based on an in-​depth understanding of color theory. From pleasing neutrals to rich, vibrant shades – she is adept at helping clients find just the right color to accentuate and beautify their interiors.
