You would be hard pressed to find a better breakfast in a more perfect little restaurant than at Bannin’s Irish Inn. The Eggs Benedict was delicious and perfectly cooked. The bangers and eggs brought us back to Europe. And the shop is just delightful. What a special find on our way through Virginia!

Today went back and had raspberry tea, bacon and pancakes — light and fluffy! delicious! they came with a side of nice crispy, but not burned bacon. Once again lots of regulars here having a merry time chatting with staff and other regulars. i also heard they will be opening up 2 Bed and Breakfast rooms upstairs.

Not impressed. The only tea was from a few boxes most likely purchased at Walmart. No lemon, no honey, no earl grey… on the busiest Saturday shopping of the year… Food was ok, chips were stale, chicken orzo soup was good. Service was lackluster, didn’t seem to care one way or the other. Unfortunately got a view of the kitchen stove while paying at counter, disgusting… It certainly has potential, but needs a lot of improvement and attention to detail …
