My wife and I were referred to Raymond at Wine Cube for our anniversary trip to Sonoma. Raymond planned and delivered the perfect itinerary for wine tastings based on our desires. He was so helpful, polite, professional and informative about the wine and farming region. We had an amazing weekend and we have to thank Raymond for delivering a stress free and enjoyable time in Sonoma and Napa. We can’t wait to come back and see more with Raymond.

We couldn’t have had a better experience with Raymond on our Wine Cube Tour. He picked up up at our door in a brand new car and escorted us on a customized wine tour. He thoughtfully chose 4 wineries for us, and made appointments in advance. Even lunch was taken care of! He handed us a menu when we got settled in the car so that he could pre-​order and avoid any delays.
Raymond’s knowledge of the terroir and winemaking process was a huge asset as well. We had been in the Napa to take a wine certification course, and it was fabulous to have Raymond as a resource to further expand our knowledge.
Each of the places we visited were smaller, intimate experiences and offered some of the best wine I’ve had in Napa. He will also schedule specific stops by request; however, I’ve been to Napa several times and enjoyed to exploring new-​to-​me wineries. He is also a food-​lover, and gave us some restaurants to try that were absolutely fabulous. It was so nice to find someone I could trust to make great recommendations!
We will definitely be calling Raymond on our next trip!

The wine tour was fantastic. Such a personalized experience. The wine tour is only a small piece of what Raymond offers though. He acted as a concierge and helped our planning as we lead up to and after spending the day with him. He takes great joy in making your time, even when not with him, as wonderful as the time with him. He gave directions for the quickest way to get around, great places for dinner, and of course what towns and wineries to see. On the day of the wine tour we were picked up right at our door. The van is very comfortable and much better than most limo’s when it comes to comfort. Raymond is definitely a wine and wine country scholar. He is able to answer any questions you might have and adds some history along the way. When a stop went faster than scheduled he was able to make a quick adjustment and added another place to see. He also has a nice camera and is there to catch candids and pictures of the day. This is nice because it is hard to do it yourself when tasting and touring the areas. He sends them to you after the day is over. We were heading home the next day and Raymond sent me a message that day advising that one of the stops we had planned was already very busy, so we could plan accordingly. This was above and beyond, but very appreciated. Overall I cannot say enough nice things about our time and would recommend anyone going to wine country take advantage of this service.

If you want to see Sonoma, Raymond is the right person to show you around. He knows his wine and grew up in the area, so you can bet he knows where to take you. Let him know what you’re into, and he’ll schedule the perfect itinerary. Our group of five enjoyed his selections and his company. He made our trip to wine country even more enjoyable!

Raymond is the jam. Quite literally the most well-​educated, well-​informed, fun, easy-​going guy to lead you ALL AROUND wine country. We hired the Wine Cube for a pre-​planned tasting event at a few wineries, and could not have had a better experience. We’ve already started planning for a return trip… and Raymond is #1 on the list of «repeats» for the next visit. Highly recommend!

We spent part of our 20^th wedding anniversary with Raymond touring absolutely stunning wineries in the Sonoma valley! Every winery well well chosen based on input from us and our preferences for wine and what we wanted out of a trip. Raymond is THE GUY!!! We have used him twice in the area and would not choose another! Too bad for Gene from Heldsberg tours who was booked and referred us to Raymond… He lost us!
Raymond can find the diamond in the gems. He is not paid by anyone so he truly takes you to the top spots, we use him for the «one man army» wineries. People who do not distribute nationwide. He is so knowledgable of the area and local through and through.

Five stars under-​rates Raymond; he was absolutely fantastic. In addition to promptly responding to all emails, he took time to call and learn about the wine preferences of my group so that he could tailor our tour to wineries that he was sure we’d like — and they were all wonderful! I appreciate that he selected for small, off-​the-​beaten-​path wineries that I never would have been able to find on my own. More than just making an itinerary and chauffeuring us, Raymond is very knowledgeable about every aspect of wine — from the farming to production to tasting — and he taught us a lot about California wine. He patiently answered all of our questions and gave us tips to get the most out of our tastings. Lastly, he offered suggestions not only for our day together but also for the rest of our trip as well. I would very highly recommend Wine Cube Tours.

The owner, Raymond, responded to my email very quickly. He is from the area and has worked in the wine industry for number of years. He will assist you in your planning or you may give him your desired route or if you like, will take care of the whole plan based on the wine choices. We had a wonderful time. He was very pleasant and was very knowledgable of the wineries. We will use this service again and would HIGHLY recommend Wine Cube Tours.

Raymond is a very knowledgeable guy who knows this area. He is super nice and made the day lovely. My wife and I used him to tour the Napa area and we had a blast! He used his questionnaire to plan the tour and he nailed it! We had a wonderful day touring Napa with him with wide windows and beautiful views, and the wineries he picked were awesome and exactly what we wanted. He made this trip that much better and when we come back to wine country we will use him again! We talked so much between wineries and on the way back to the B&B that the day just flew by! He knows his stuff!

We just finished a great wine tour with Raymond. Before coming to CA we had a call with him where he asked about our preferences and designed a custom itinerary to fit both of our requirements. The wineries he recommended were just right. It was a wonderful experience!

My wife and I heard about Raymond from a friend in the DC metro area. So for our anniversary we decided to book a tour with him. I have to say, I put my complete trust in him, something that made me nervous, but he did not disappoint! We had the best time ever! He custom tailored our entire day based on our discussed likes, dislikes and what type of wines we liked and even our price point. He did the rest and gave us the itinerary and gave me the chance to make changes.
He took care of getting us where we needed to be, modified the schedule when we were on «wine time,» and kept us hydrated between stops.
The best part was the amount of knowledge he had and the education he instilled in us. He has been in the industry for many years and it shows.
Raymond also picked up lunch for us from an awesome deli and arranged for us to eat it at one of the wineries. Then he made suggestions of other wineries for us to visit the other days we were there. Those were also some of the best wineries we have ever been to!

My wife and I only had 1 day between Americas Cup races to tour wine country. We found Wine Cube Tours online and contacted Raymond.
From the first email all the way through the tour Raymond provided excellent service. He took the time to find out what we wanted and made suggestions, but tailored the one day tour to exactly what we wanted to do. He even gave us a suggested route to drive through wine country to do some sightseeing on our way from San Francisco. He is very knowledgable & experienced in what he does and the reviews accurately reflect that. We will be doing another tour with Raymond next year in a different location and look forward to the exceptional customer service he provides. Came to Sonoma for the first leg of our honeymoon and Wine Cube Tours was recommended by our Bed and Breakfast. Raymond was beyond knowledgable in the area of wineries, varietals, and production. He’s worked in the wine industry for years and has relationships with many of the top notch wineries that made a huge difference in our tour. He geared our entire tour around our preferences in wines (Zinfandels and Pinot Noir) and hit it out of the park! We even bought a Sauvignon Blanc unexpectedly that was incredible. A must if you want to learn about the different regions in Sonoma! Try VML for sure, it was our favorite!

The best decision we made was to connect with Raymond on our recent trip to the Russian River area. He spent the time with me (via email and on the phone) to plan out an itinerary that reflected our interests and exposed us to the area. Very well informed about the wine industry and Sonoma/​Napa area, he was able to utilize his contacts to a create a very unique experience that included personal visits with producers and the winemakers. He suggested area restaurants for dinner and got us to them. As part of his «full service» approach he helped plan out our other days with some great suggestions. Talkative, attentive, personable, flexible, very detailed orientated and just fun to have as our tour guide for the day.
Thanks Raymond for organizing a fantastic 2+ days in Sonoma County. We had an incredible time and can’t wait to come back.

I am so glad that we chose to spend our first day in Sonoma County with Raymond — he definitely made our trip the amazing getaway it was!
We booked him about a week before we left (the whole trip was pretty last minute)…we were lucky he was available! After a set of emails and a phone conversation, we were on the same page for our tour together. We wanted to see a snapshot of the area, as well as some pinots. We nodded at our itinerary, and he was kind enough to send us some restaurant lists & a few driving tours for going to the coast. While we only toured with Raymond 1 day, he was a great help in planning our other days of wining, dining, and touring.
Our day was excellent… picked up right on time on a super hot day, with cold water in the back seat & a cooler in the trunk ready for our purchases. We were down in Rohnert Park, so we had a bit of a drive to our first visit, but it was spent getting to know each other and to get a good overview of our next few days. We hit Suacci Carciere & Dutton Goldfield before lunch at Dry Creek General Store, and then swooped into Truett-​Hurst for a tasting and sliders from the bar. Then we diverted from our itinerary for the day, stopping by Papapietro & Sbragia before heading back to the hotel. Raymond was a great guide for the day — everywhere we went, they knew him, and we were taken great care of by every winery we stopped in at (both with him, and later that week based on his recommendation). I appreciated that as he got a feel for us during the day, we did a bit of changes to the afternoon. You definitely won’t get that with a group tour!
Raymond is a true professional in the wine industry and quite the concierge for the region. Sure, he may be a smidge more expensive than a group tour, but to have a full day, exactly how you want it, without chasing down lost group members… and adding concierge services for your trip… he’s a definite bargain.
The next time we’re in Sonoma… we’ll be calling Wine Cube Tours… and we’ll definitely be sending our friends to him.

Raymond is true pleasure to deal with. He offers a full suite of services in addition to simply driving [shipping, concierge/​itinerary assistance, etc]. He will tailor services for you personally! He was extremely helpful with details, timing, and accommodating last minute requests. I particularly enjoyed the friendly, personal experience much different than a standard, expensive driver who follows the fine print and won’t defer from schedule without checking in with HQ/​paper work.
Raymond is friendly, patient, and easy to work with as well as affordable! I will definitely recommend this to anyone who asks!

5 STARS is not enough for Wine Cube Tours. Raymond was an absolute delight to be around. He is SO knowledgeable about the wine industry. My husband and I are from the area, and you would think we know all about each winery — well sure enough… Raymond took us to wineries that I had never heard of and were absolutely awesome locations! We hired WCT to take us around for the day, we enjoyed Raymond’s company so much that we invited him to join us for dinner. I can’t say enough wonderful things about WCT. I will definitely recommend him to all my clients, friends and family! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Raymond was really wonderful to work with.
I emailed him to receive more specific information regarding his services and got a response within hours with very detailed information. He is by far the most affordable driver I could find in the area. His winter special, $ 90 a person for 6 hours, absolutely cannot be beat. My husband and I essentially got a private tour for $ 180 (minus tip), whereas private tours with bigger companies were $ 150+ per person.
After deciding to book with him, he sent me a thorough itinerary with background information and price points for each of the wineries he selected. Feel free to customize it however you want though! Not only was the itinerary wonderful, but he included a list of restaurants in the area and tailored them to the «romantic» vibe we were going for. We decided to let Raymond go wild and completely plan out the day for us, seeing as how he knows the area much better than my husband and me, and it couldn’t have gone better.
We hit up Trattore Estate & Dry Creek Olive Oil Company– what a wonderful gem, highly recommend their olive oil! He was able to get us in before opening, that way we could have a private tour of their facility. The other wineries we went to were also really great! In fact, we were able to tour a teeny tiny winery, Munselle Vineyards, based out of a very lovely house that ended up being one of our favorites! We really enjoy the smaller, more intimate wineries, and Raymond really nailed it. This is the type of place we would have never found on our own!
Raymond was talkative, friendly, and super knowledgeable, exactly what we were looking for in a driver. He was also very accommodating when we decided to extend our tour past the 6 hour mark.
After the tour was through, he sent a follow up email, attaching various pictures he had snapped throughout the day and also following up with us regarding some events we wanted more information on. Another great bonus of using Raymond is that he will act as your concierge all weekend, not just the day he will drive you. He insisted we call him if we got lost, had questions, or needed more information about anything.
I will definitely be using Wine Cube again! He serves both the Napa and Sonoma area, which is a definite plus. Thanks for a truly WONDERFUL experience!
